Hope everyone is holding up okay. All the bumps look so cute I am currently at the stage where I look chubby but not quite at the maternity clothes stage yet! Been recommended a website called 'purplus' for really cheap maternity wear. I don't know about the quality but got somethings on order so will let you know. Is anyone suffering bad headaches?x

Hello fellow mini bumpers,
I'm due 19th so 14+3.
I've thought I felt movements the last three days, but for a definite flurry of kicks tonight which dh felt too which was lucky as it only lasted 10 seconds. My sickness is finally easing.

I did a hypno birthing cd and thought it was fantastic, didn't splash out on a course though so can't comment on the difference.

I'm in maternity wear now and probably massive compared to my first pregnancy but my stomach muscles don't want to fight it so I'm just embracing it. There's no inbetween 'fat' stage this time!

Yes to headaches here welshy. Seem to have eased off a little today- been out in the fresh air lots do hoping it's that.

Welshy I've heard of Purpless Maternity before - on eBay and Amazon I think? Looks like quite nice clothes, let us know if you get anything!

Anyone else had their flu jab? I did yesterday and no effects so far!
Will look for purples. Thought I could just wear my normal clothes as I usually wear dresses but they don't look right with bump.

Haven't checked in for AGES as despite a great 12 week scan I've still been paranoid after MMC in June. I'm 16 weeks today and huge already. Im wearing maternity everything which is strange as when I was Pg with DD2 I had to have a special scan at 32 weeks because I was so tiny. She was 9 years ago (!) so maybe it's just my er advancing years to blame....

I found out at the scan that I had an anterior placenta. Anybody else in this situation? I can feel what feels like little bubbles/pops but no definite kicks etc and it could be months before I do due to the placenta cushioning movement.

Due 9th April but couldn't work out how to add myself to the list. On ipad which seems to dislike mumsnet!

Helbelle, I had my scan just over a week ago. Didn't have any effects so fingers crossed you won't either!

I've also started wearing maternity jeans, my old ones are but a distant memory. I bought topshop's Leigh under the bump but find the denim much more stretchy than the non maternity versions. They need to be washed after every wear to stop them going saggy. Any other recommendations?

Hi Helbelle, I also had my flu jab a week ago and apart from a slight sore area on my arm where the injection was I've been totally fine.

I've also had to start buying maternity clothes (inc pants!) as I've gone from a fairly fit size 8 to a lot bigger. My knickers were all too small and my bump is so big that all my jumpers etc ride up.

Talking about getting bigger...who is doing what exercise? I need some ideas apart from the dreaded swimming. I was a pretty active runner before and since being pregnant I've done nothing. After the MMC I was too scared to run in the first 12 weeks and now am too big....Any exercise ideas would be very welcome!!

Hi Prive 120, I bought some from Seraphine. They are skinny dark blue and were £65. They also go a bit stretchy after a few wears to be honest but I do really like them although they need a belt. I wear the ordinary Leigh jeans so disappointed to hear their maternity ones are not brilliant - boo. I need a second pair and don't really want to pay £60. I might try NEXT - will report back!

I bought a coat from there as I am in New York and Boston soon and I've been really impressed so far.
Also found an up and coming maternity label called Just Polly. Cool styling but fabrics a bit disappointing. Might be just the trousers though. Their dresses look lovely.

Added myself. Both loving and hating this stage of pregnancy. V few symptoms, much more energy, but ages till the next scan!

Paperandpaint, I do Aqua Fit Class which is much more fun than swimming but still low impact.

There are some moves I'm not allowed to do being pregnant but I just do my own thing during those bits!

I've ordered our pram today. Got a bit impatient cos I knew exactly what I wanted and have already missed a great deal so convinced husband to part with some money
Can't wait for it to come

My mat jeans are Next, I can wear them for a few days before they stretch too much. They are lovely and have lasted very well. I need some warmer tops, my current collection of wooly jumpers are going to expose my expanding belly in a few weeks! I was hoping to last until Christmas, but maybe that was ambitious.
