everdene I was also pregnant at the same time as my dsis with dd2, it was lovely. Babies were born 2 months apart and very close to each other. We went to baby groups together, it's nice to have the company.

jpeg28 · 19/11/2016 09:14

That's so lovely everdene that you can share it all with her!!

I had a row with OH last night... asked him to take some bagels out of the freezer (it sounds pathetic already) and he just said "yeah later"... which means he will forget. So I asked him to do it again. He said the same thing. So I said fine I'll get out of bed and do it myself! Then he just started shouting at me!!! Maybe I was quite unreasonable all over some bagels! Then he slept on the sofa! Now I've just left to go to pilates an hour early to get out of the house! How ridiculous!

Superbabywright · 19/11/2016 14:56

Pelvic floor ladies!

TopKittyKat · 19/11/2016 17:26

Ha! This is working...I only seem to do them when I spot a post on here about it.
April 2017 ladies - you are officially safeguarding my future bladder control. For that, I thank you!

TopKittyKat · 19/11/2016 17:29

Jpeg- I hope things have calmed down after bagelgate.
I sympathise with you. If I don't constantly check up on DH the tasks he is responsible for often get 'forgotten'.

jobrum · 19/11/2016 21:56

jpeg I always find rows about tiny non-things are the worst. Hope you've had a better day.

Re plevic floors, mine was a bit iffy for a couple of weeks after my last birth but then no problems. Always do exersises, dh is always very complimentary Blush. But for the last couple of months I've noticed that I have to stop walkibg to xough or blow my nose and a teeny bit of wee came out when I picked up dd! Is it connected to the muscles relaxing in pregnancy? Am i just going tk have to put up with it?

jpeg28 · 20/11/2016 07:24

Bagelgate was resolved! (My me!) we both laughed about it in the end (if only he would just do things straight away!!)
I've been awake on and off since 2am... I've had a stint in the lounge and now back in bed. My in laws are in the spare room and as our flat is tiny I feel I can't even go and watch tv! All I want to do is eat and watch greys anatomy!!

jobrum its probably just the muscles relaxing. I've been worried about that too Confused

SharkBastard · 20/11/2016 20:24

18 weeks today and boobs have started leaking. Hoping that means I'll start feeling less sick, as that happened with DD

Anyone else leaking yet? Delightful business this early on Confused

MrsRhubarb · 21/11/2016 16:12

I am having a perfectly healthy and incredibly active baby girl! She spent most of the time practically latched onto the placenta while wiggling constantly, but luckily they were able to do all the measurements they needed. DD was practically the only person who guessed girl, and is very happy

jpeg28 · 21/11/2016 16:43

MrsR what a gorgeous scan pic! And congrats!!! A week today and I'll know too! So happy for you.

marmitecheesetoast · 22/11/2016 09:48

Ahh congrats MrsR! Mine is tomorrow afterboon, can't wait!

Been feeling lots more 'popcorn' movements over the weekend so think that definitely must be movement!

Jpeg that sounds exactly like me and my DH, if he doesnt do something then and there he completely forgets about it!

We went to one of the Mamas & Papas parents to be events on Sunday, thanks for whoever it was that gave the heads up!, we didn't buy anything as wanted to wait til after 20 week scan but it was good to have a chance to have a proper look at stuff for the first time! Especially prams! They had a big discount on one of the M&P ones on the day. DH was happy too as there was free food Grin

Lovely that you and DSis can enjoy and share this time together everdene!

Hope everyone is well. Where's Sarah not heard from her for a while?

MrsBac am I right in thinking your scan isn't tomorrow too? Exciting, hope all goes well!

MrsRhubarb · 22/11/2016 09:54

Thanks Jpeg I was sure that they wouldn't be able to tell, as she didn't exactly make the sonographers job easy with some of the measurements, but that was probably the easiest bit. The last week has taken forever waiting for the scan to get here, it felt like the run up to Christmas!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 22/11/2016 10:52

Hi everyone!

Not really been involved in this group before - but I'm due 27th April. DC2. Am convinced it's another boy.

We have our anatomy scan on 9th December so we'll find out then

Are other people finding out? Have you already found out? Did you have an inkling and was it right?

CajunKitty · 22/11/2016 11:15

Hi tuna you're on the same dates as me, my scan is on the 9th as well. It's torture watching everyone else have their scans when I still have weeks!! We are finding out, been holding back on shopping so can't wait.

Marmite I'm going to be getting a M&P pram, when you say huge discount at their events how big is huge??!!

MrsBac83 · 22/11/2016 11:20

No marmite my scan was last Wednesday but I'll happily have another one Smile All was fine thank goodness.

F'ingtuna Grin We didn't want to find out but hubby admitted after that he kept looking to see if he could tell. We both think we saw something there but are not acting on it in case we were wrong. Shock

everdene · 22/11/2016 11:39

Scrumptious pic MrsR!

choccybiscuit · 22/11/2016 12:21

Congrats on all your scans ladies. I had mine yesterday and although we are still team yellow, the first choice we got as soon as she put the scanner on me was a potty shot! Saw absolutely nothing between the legs except a white line so think we are having a girl! We'll have a house full of divas!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 22/11/2016 12:38

Cajun - it feels like a long way away doesn't it?! I'm excited to hear what you're having! Do you have any guesses as to what you're having?

MrsBac - off! How tantalising!!! Do you and hubby agree on what you think you saw?

marmitecheesetoast · 22/11/2016 13:01

Ah sorry MrsBac must have got confused, I had in my head we were scan day twins!

CajunKitty it was the M&P Armadillo Flip XT they had a special offer on on the day. I think it was 60% off their usual bundle price, but to be honest as we hadn't looked at any prams at all before and weren't looking to buy on the day I didn't note the actual prices. I don't know anything about M&P (or any!) prams yet but the demonstration of the Flip XT seemed pretty good to me. I don't how they compare generally to other brands? At our store they had another 'parents to be' event coming up in a fortnights time, don't know whether it will have the same offers or different ones.

That's exciting Choccy! We are still team vanilla too but we are both still tempted by the opportunity of finding out tomorrow, eeeek!

CajunKitty · 22/11/2016 13:51

Thanks Marmite that is the pram we are going to get, although it's just the pram I want rather than the bundle. Might look at booking on to one in the new year :-).

Tuna doing the nub theory I and my midwife think it's a girl (I've got into the habit of saying 'she' too!!). We have had a girls name for a long time, if it's s boy we're struggling to find a name we like!!

jobrum · 22/11/2016 15:49

choccy a potty shot! Love that!

My scan is tomorrow and quite excited. Dh asked at the weekend when my next sxan is and I replied Wednesday, its why I have it booked off but said you don't have to be there. He said "well, we are busy at work..." Tbh, I'm looking forward to another day to myself! He's going to keep his phone on so if there is anything not right I can call him.

sharkI also have a little bit of leakage. I think I noticed it about the same time last pg and it is just a little bit of dried colostrum in my bra at the end of the day. The never ending glamour!

SharkBastard · 22/11/2016 17:11

Had my consultant appointment today, and I love her! She was wonderful, said she's more than happy for me to have a VBAC as long as all other areas are OK, I will be consultant led due to BMI, but she was overjoyed that I didn't want a c section if I could help it.

Also she let me hear the heartbeat again, baby is a kicker and a half! Lovely to hear it again though.

I will have 3 more scans, one at 28, 32 and 36 weeks to check growth. Same as with DD as she was a biggish baby at 9lb 9oz so will be interesting to see how big this one gets!

Now just got to sit on my hands till 1st when I have my 20 week scan and find out sex!

Glad I'm not the only one suffering the leaky glamour of pregnancy, Jobrum

abeandhalo · 22/11/2016 21:11

Hi all - haven't been on in a while. Congrats on all the positive scan news!

We had ours today and found out we're having a boy, due on Apr 7th. I'm really pleased I was so confident it was a boy. He's been jerking about in there like nobody's business this week, partner says it's my comeuppance for being such a fidget in bed!

marmitecheesetoast · 23/11/2016 08:30

Morning all I've just slipped down the stairs rushing to get ready for work, slid down a few stairs on my bum/lower back but took most of the impact on my elbow trying to catch myself if you see what I mean. I'm Rh- , does anyone know whether this would count as enough of a fall/trauma to be of concern and need anti D injection?
I have 20 week scan this afternoon anyway can I just wait and mention it then..??

MrsBac83 · 23/11/2016 08:54

Careful Marmite hope you're ok? Other than the shock!! Look out for any bleeding today and yeah I think I'd mention it at the scan this arvo if you've had no other signs through the day to worry about. Or maybe call the midwife just for peace of mind. x

Tuna yes hubby and I agree we think it was a boy from what we saw. The 'shot' was from over baby though, like as if you were holding it in your arms so you'd see it's face and front of body. There was definitely some white shapes around the lower regions. Sonographer lingered on the shot a while and knew we didn't want to find out so maybe it wasn't anything conclusive or she'd have moved away quickly? Or she forgot lol! We're not telling anyone about that though as they'll act on it. I tried looking on google for similar angle pictures but all the gender pics seem to be of the potty shot as choccy called it.
