I bought the same size lucie. I found maternity sizing was pretty generous.

Be warned though, there is a lot of stretchy, clingy maternity clothes out there. I really struggled to get stuff I liked last time.

Congratulations to all those that have had their scans and welcome to new folk.

Thanks to the ladies who shared their experiences of mmc, am terrified of this happening, though I have no previous experience, have my scan on Tuesday am really nervous! X

blossom I've had two early scans and have 12 week one in a week and a bit. I too had a mmc so a tad anxious ( though I'm a million times better than I was when pregnant with DD!)
What kind of Doppler do you have? I'm in two minds about buying one!

Checking into the new thread. I'm off on a course for a week from tomorrow so don't need to worry about anyone at work noticing growing tummy! Scan when I get back at 13 weeks. Can't copy and paste on iPad if someone can add me to stats please...pukekos 34 #2 due 8/5/17.

Hi everyone, and hello to all newbies! I will add my stats again at some point. My due date is 27th April now and the consultant said it might be a day or two earlier as baby measured slightly bigger at 12 week scan but was all curled up. It'll end up being eveb earlier though now I kniw I have to havr an elcs. I also have a date for my 20 week scan now, 12th Dec- will be pleased to get it out of the way before Christmas.

Really maternity clothes, I have always bought my usual size and been fine.

Regarding the other hot topic, pee pots- I have had to re-use them before, they seem to be rationed here in NI (!), but it's certainly not the most gross thing you have to experience during the pregnancy/birth process!

Sonnet I was thinking about buying a Doppler and then at my scan the sonographer happened to say "we don't listen to the heart this early, but we will at the next scan. We're limited in the amount we can use a Doppler because of the frequency it uses" apparently there isn't enough data to be sure it's safe to use one a lot. That put me right off getting one...

Hi all :) have posted a couple of times before.
I'm due 27th May with my first.
Had my booking in appointment on Thursday and I get the joys of the reusable pee pot!
Our carbon monoxide detector went off last night, so we had to call out an emergency engineer. Turned off boiler and opened all the windows, my husband was very protective (which was quite sweet!) wouldn't let me in the kitchen where the boiler is and sent me upstairs! Boilers getting checked later this morning,glad I live in a rental property so I won't have to pay for repairs or replacement!

Thanks cinnamon that's kinda swayed me into the "no" category then. Also, I probably wouldn't be able to find the heartbeat and would just send myself into a panic!

I'm 11 weeks with scan on Thursday, can't wait. Only one bout of puking I've been very lucky. Am exhausted though, had to have a 10 minute power nap in the work loo yesterday afternoon to enable me to last until 5pm. As northernexile wisely says, something tells me that won't be the weirdest/ grossest thing I do in the next few months! Wishing you all a good weekend.

Had my private scan this morning and it's true, there really is a baby in there! It was waving it's arms and legs about! So weird. It's put me back a few days as I expected so now I'm 10+2 with an edd of May 18th.

Question... how 'big' are you ladies feeling / looking? When I was chatting with my boss the other day she couldn't believe how big I look already at 9+1 compared to someone who I work with that's 14 weeks...

I've really exploded this last week raspberry

This is my second (DD only 8 months only) and I'm 11 weeks today. I look the way I looked at around 16 weeks last time. Think that's because I haven't properly lost my baby belly so I'm just pretending it a bump and going along with it!

I'm feeling like a whale Raspberry, all in the belly and the boobs. I look so pregnant two people at work have asked me if I am and I'm only 10 + 3 with my first. It's been a massive shock.

Had a mostly pointless online new look shop, everything came up huge or nasty fabric, but I've kept some under bump jeggings as I've been restricted to pjs when I've been relaxing at home now everything else is too tight.

Can see myself in tights and dresses for the foreseeable!

Really glad everyone's scans are going so well! Absolutely delighted for you Fox, I've been sending you thoughts x

Still debating a private scan. What are my chances of getting my NHS one brought forward a few days?
