Booking appt was OK, uninteresting as everyone warned. My BMI is a bit high so she told me not to use it as an excuse to eat too much. I didn't point out that I'm starving all the time.

And she was a bit odd about screening like you need to know now what you would do... I nearly cried to be honest.

Just waiting for a scan date now.

Actually feeling a million times better for being ill this morning!!

Roll on 5.30pm that's all I can say... me and this little jelly bean are staying in bed most of tomorrow!

It might be just because of the early stage we're at but those looking at maternity tights for work - New Look were rubbish ! ASOS - brilliant

Adventure I got mine from M&S - not particularly cheap £6 a pair... BUT the most comfortable things I've ever worn, (other than maternity leggings) - they have reinforced toes and are really good quality!

Just back from my booking in,everything went well and I am low risk.
I also don't need to keep the same pee pot,phew! My hospital only had ONE toilet in the clinic for all us women to use for our samples,seems ridiculous.

Rasperry M&S were my first port of call but none in the store and sold out on the website !

Had my scan! All is well although I'm only 10 weeks 2 days. I suspected this as I have longer cycles. I've to go for another in 2 weeks. My baby has a good strong heartbeat though and was waving their wee arms at us! EDD is now 17/05/2017!

Ah, amazing news lala! Must be the greatest feeling, so happy for you. We currently have the same EDD but I'll see when I have my scan in a couple of weeks.

Moo I keep seeing people mentioning keeping the same pee pot... is this for real!?... my hospital had a massive basket of them in the bathrooms and ask you to take a fresh one home each time to do a sample before you come in.

Is anyone else still getting the odd heavy stretching feeling ?

I have read online that some trusts do make you reuse them! I was just handed one at reception when I told them I had arrived. I had plans to order some online if I was told to re-use,yuck!

adventure I am still getting period like cramps every now and then and lower back pain,more like a heaviness. Midwife re assured me this is completely normal. My discharge has also increased this week,having to wear a liner now its so disgusting.

lala how exciting you get to see baby again in 2 weeks! Glad to hear the little bean had a strong heartbeat.

May I join now, please? I have lurked off and on since I found out I was pregnant back in August, but too afraid to join due to a few previous MMCs of various natures.

I had my reassurance scan yesterday and am now 11 weeks. My due date for baby no. 2 is 12th May 2017 . I'm really hoping this baby stays snug and continues to grow happily.

I wish us all snug babes in our bellies ... and smooth journeys ahead to spring time.

Thanks for letting me onboard. I think I'll take a risk and add myself to the list.

Have added myself to list. So lovely to hear those of you who have had scans are reassured. I'm pretty nervous about mine next week. Being taken away for anniversary this weekend so will hopefully take my mind off things for a while.

I am having some stretching pains across my lower tummy and also quite bad tail bone pain, low in my back. Have been starving this week but feeling slightly less nauseous.
Definitely be looking for some comfy leggings and tights soon so thanks for the recommendations!

For those that have bought maternity leggings etc already what sort of size do you go for? Do you stick with your usual size or go a size up? I don't really look much different at the moment but it would be nice to get some comfy leggings but if I get the next size up will they be too big? I'm not sure how it works.

Hi all. Have been quiet as I've been feeling so tired and awful. I'm 9+3 and have had a couple of good days this week. Then I had a cup of tea and it came straight up this morning. No more tea. Might tell my parents tomorrow. Need to tell someone!!

Has anyone else had any sort of leg pain? Im getting it in my left leg and sometimes hip. Its not bad at all, just a sort of discomfort, maybe like a nerve type pain. Sometimes I think I'm just imagining it!

sipper it might be the hormone called relaxin, I seem to get it pretty early on when I'm preggers and get a twinge in my back.

Hello amelia and big congrats!! Understandable that you're feeling cautious but we can only go one day at a time and take each pregnancy as a new experience It's good to have you here.

I've got a big event this wknd, I run a food stall so it's gonna be full on However I have great staff and they all know I'm preggo so won't let me over do it. Wonder if I can sneak in a nap under the stall?!?
