No need to be concerned Miss I think if you feel well.

As I say we're all different, I'm in the ballooning camp, some others stay lean throughout. The first time round I worried so much about becoming a tank, now I'm just meh, it's just me pregnant.

Pugsymalone · 11/11/2016 10:56

Had another scan today! Baby is fine was throwing its arms and legs everywhere, new due date is 8th June so I might have to leave you all😢😂

Missmoomoo I gained about 5lbs in the first few weeks and then lost it all again, despite not changing my eating habits (continued eating LOADS as I was so hungry all the time and if I didn't eat I felt really sick) I wondered if it was maybe bloating/ water weight. I'm now about 2-3lbs max heavier than I was before pregnancy and don't seem to be increasing, it goes up to that amount and then goes back down again. Having said that I'm on holiday for 2 weeks so I expect I'll put on a bit more now due to all the nice food - and I'm eating more of it than I normally would to make up for missing out on the nice wines GrinWink

Shoney85 · 11/11/2016 12:45

How exciting growcookeat to have a DD buddy :-)

I'm still waiting for my letter about the results, that's been two weeks since my scan/bloods. Sure the nurse said if it was low risk would be within three weeks so sure everything is fine.

My bump is expanding and feeling a bit tender round it all. Stretching pains no doubt.

My tiredness has slowly going away the last couple of weeks. Sometimes I feel fine then by afternoon I'm shattered. But I do feel better in general. Apart from at night when I'm feeling my worst and get sick still

Streaky17 · 11/11/2016 13:35

Yay pugsy so glad it was just your dates wrong and the baby is OK!

I'm glad it's not just me that is hungry during the night. I've had to get up to eat around 4am the last two nights! I'm going to try to not worry about my weight - I've both worried about to much and not enough gain so far!

Hopefully going to buy some maternity clothes tomorrow! Fingers crossed for something decent.

I'm constantly eating, only thing that stops me feeling/being sick.

Adventuregame · 11/11/2016 14:22

I'm thinking of trying a pregnancy yoga on Sunday ?

OP posts:
1004Rise · 11/11/2016 15:32

I'm constantly hungry in the morning and get less interested in food throughout the day, I seem to have at least 3 breakfasts - I don't think I've ever been so grateful to work from home. By the time I get to an evening meal I feel hungry get half way through and then feel totally full.

I've put on about 3lbs but all near the beginning, I've been the same weight for the past 4 weeks.

I've decided I'm not going to worry about eating or weight until the midwife does, I think I can probably find 101 other things to worry about instead Grin

Adventure I'd definitely try pregnancy yoga, I've been desperately searching for a class near me but no luck. I was practicing regularly before I was tired and sick all the time. I miss to total concentration you need for it, stops me thinking about all the other nonsense in my head!

MissMooMoo · 11/11/2016 15:38

Thanks for the re assurance.
I am eating 3 meals a day but not massive ones, snacking on fruit which I seem to crave constantly.

FoxMulder · 11/11/2016 15:55

Oh and as for exercise...pa haha! I'm eating a pot noodle on the sofa. Craving the weirdest things. I take my toddler swimming most weeks if that counts! (It doesn't)

Rabbitykins55 · 11/11/2016 16:29

Adventure my results were higher than yours I think but still said low risk so I think you'll be ok. Smile

Flingmoo · 11/11/2016 16:50

1004Rise I am similar in that I can eat 2 or 3 breakfasts but less later on in the day. The all day nausea has now mostly just become afternoon nausea. So hopefully it's on it's way out. I've felt crap from 1pm onwards today despite eating and snacking plenty.

This nausea can seriously piss off now, I am so done with it! I just want to scream BUGGER OFF sickness! I know it's getting better slowly but still, not fast enough for me!

Only 3 days til my scan though so that's something.

PeachIcedT · 11/11/2016 19:00

Had a lot of posts to catch up on, congratulations to those with scans, I love seeing the photos. And how exciting for those with twins!

I'm also craving fruit, have got through a large family pack of clementines in a few days. I've read fruit cravings are pretty common.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

EsmesBees · 11/11/2016 19:14

Pretty sure I've felt a few tiny kicks today. I remember the fluttering from last time. It's such a lovely feeling. Made me all emotional.

Love that Fox! I had a craving for a pot noodle the other day... and then proceeded to add a ton of marmite to it!!??...

Such a long week this week, I have senior managers flying in from Singapore this weekend for a huge budget meeting and audit next week so have spent the week prepping and easily done 50+ hours now! Literally just about to leave to get a train home and chill for the weekend!

Adventuregame · 11/11/2016 22:08

Ooh rasperry that's a late finish on a Friday ! Hope you're home and resting now xx

Had my first scan yesterday.

Been put back a week from 13 4 to 12 4 so not far off. Due date is now 22 May.

Baby was very active, sonographer called it a "fidgety bum". Only was to describe it was a fish out of water jumping about pretty much the entire time.

Heartbeat good and all measurements were normal. Feels a bit more real now

Hi all

May I join in? My EDD by LMP was the 25th April, but two growth scans have both contributed the 10th of May. I had only had one period as I am still breastfeeding my current bub. This is baby 8 for husband and I. I am a massive natural birther and have had five homebirths, but after having a PPH last time I am using my BUPA and have a private OB and using a private hospital. We are team green.

Welcome mummyplus7. You must give us all some tips. I can't imagine having 7 (also, what's team green?)

Jugoo28 · 12/11/2016 09:39

Hi all, first time posting here! 11+6 today EDD 30 May but first scan is on Tuesday so could move a little. I'm living in NZ and I think the midwife system is a little different here to the UK.

Badgerbird · 12/11/2016 09:43

Morning Mummy's! Just popping in before another day of DIY Confused not procrastinating honest!

Welcome and big congrats +7! Yes I bet you have some words of wisdom for us all! All going well I may have to bend your ear on home births nearer the time :)

Congrats on your scan redblu :)

adventure have fun tomoz and let us know how you get on. 1004 I was big into my yoga before too, did lots of fertility yoga in particular this time round, loved it. I've found a pregnancy class so may try this week. Was waiting for healthy scan and for tiredness to f#%k off a bit before trying as it's straight after a long work day and I haven't done any proper yoga since BFP!!

peach what is it about fruit cravings?!? Particularly oranges/ satsumas etc? I'm just glad it's a healthy craving! :)
