Are you all snowed under or is it something I said???

I am I really wanted snow this morning but no such luck in Cornwall!! Am starting to have trouble getting comfortable at night now...

Any tips on comfortable positions would be welcomed!!!

Have started collecting things for the baby now although I did have alot from ds - this time its a dd and I just want everything to be prefect!!!

I am also going to try and brease feed as I only managed four days last time cos I had to have two pints of blood after ds was born so couldn't manage it!! I was gutted but hopefully everything will be alright this time.

Yeay a snow day!
DD is desperate to get out and have a play, but she has to have her nap, have been putting her back in bed for the past 45 mins, think she has got the idea now, she is such a little cow sometimes.

I don't think that this house business will go ahead as DH and I have come up with a HUGE list of demands that we want if we are to buy this place or else it is just not worth us doing.

Hope you are all having a lovely snow day, has anyone gone to work?

On the scans Dh and I have decided that we are not going to find out the sex, mainly because they won't bloody tell us, also the fact that I know of 3 people who have gone to the same hospital and been told the wrong sex!
(one was even told it was a boy turned out to be a girlhow they can get it that wrong I don't know!)

I'm just buying everthing neurtal, will send DH out to buy some colour when the DT's are born, I'm quite exctied about having it as a surprise.

My money is on 2 boys

We are all snowy!! I built a snowman while DD watch with disinterest!

Ooh very at all the snow. Very nice. I´m having a really lazy day. Went for a bath and now sat on the sofa under a blanket. Haven´t managed to grab a siesta so feel like I´m just going to feel a bit knackered all day. Ho hum.

Twinkle, apart from last night which was nothing to do with positioning, I have found that sleeping slightly sitting up is very comfortable now. In fact I recently read in one of my pregnancy books that it´s common to find this position comfortable in the last couple of months and in fact may become the ONLY position you can sleep it. Worth a try? I also put a pillow under my knees so I am generally propped up all over. LOL.

THE breastfeeding book arrived yesterday and I´ve had a quick flick through, looks like it has some great info in it.

Glad you're all enjoying the snow. Our sunshine has gone here and it's raining instead.

Well my lovely DS (2 yo) announced just before 12 that he was going to bed (hardly ever has a daytime nap these days, and if he does it's always when I put him in his bed after lunch). It was very quiet and I went to check what he was doing after 5 minutes and he was indeed fast asleeep in bed. Bless him. So I have just had an hour dozing, which was bliss, especially as I was up for an hour in the night. . he's still fast asleep and I'm having a cup of tea and a chocolate muffin. So all in all, a fab morning. Will have to wake him soon to do the school run.

at stories of wrong sexing. I've been giving away my boy's stuff but I had CVS so should be 100% accurate that it's a girl .

Baby here in 7 weeks and 6 days (theoretically) - wo hoo.

Helooo all.I am really trying to keep up but findin it soooo hard at the momentHad a quick skim and glad all are ok
Went for checkup this morning and the midwife had a portable scanner.
She said 'what a lovely looking infant!' and 'look at his chubby cheeks'and,honestly i could see him so clearly staring out i feel v.emotional!I am sure we all feel the same and just want to get through the next few weeks healthy and happy.I think the further along i get the more anxious i feel now.
Hope all with spd are managing ok.
Off to catch up now...I may be some time!

Hi all. Did have snow here this morning which has now all but gone as it has started to rain . Did manage to get out with ds and build a snowman though so that kept him happy!

Vile night last night for me after I had a really good day yesterday. Ds's chest was playing up and he coughed so much he made himself sick three times (once in his sleep and he didnt wake which freaked me out a bit). Ended up coming in with me which then meant he coughed and kept me awake all night - boo. Still felt well enough for snowman building though! I think it took it out of him though as he is now sitting extremely quietly watching a dvd. I wasnt going to send him to school today but his school closed anyway due to the snow. We only had maybe 3 or 4 cms of snow so cant quite understand why everything seems to fall apart!

maveta- your of our snow, I would gladly swap the snow for a bit of a warmer climate.
