Hi wow trying to keep up! Wispa im restless a lot of the night as well. Getting quite tiring. Everyone says sleep while you can but its not happening g for me!
20 week scan on Friday! GrinShock

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 17:19

Shell yes still going for a wee several times a night - thought that was supposed to go in second trimester!!?
Daisy we also have a downstairs loo - a total pain isn't it!?

GinIsIn · 04/09/2016 17:25

Can I just say re the restless nights - I got one of those giant maternity pillows the other day. They are AMAZING!! Grin

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 17:27

Fenella this might sound crazy but how do you sleep on it!? I find it comfy to lie on but when trying to sleep the arm in lying on goes dead!

Sunshineface123 · 04/09/2016 18:01

daisy downstairs loo here too, it's a right pain! Bought bargain Moses basket today off eBay, have bought new mattress and sheets, very excited! Attaching pic

Sparkles - I don't put my arm under it - I lie in the middle with one leg on it, and put my normal pillow on the top and put my arm under that!

GinIsIn · 04/09/2016 18:06

Oh, and another one echoing the pain of the sodding downstairs loo!

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 18:38

Fenella ah ok thanks - I'll have to have a play with it. I tried once but woke up really sore!
Sunshine that's really pretty!

wispaxmas · 04/09/2016 18:39

This morning was my morning to get up with DD whilst DH had a lie in and when I went back I I our room to get dressed I found him hugging the pregnancy pillow Grin apparently they're comfy for everyone, haha!

GinIsIn · 04/09/2016 18:43

Wispa - my DH and the dog keep edging me out of bed to take it over too! Every time I get up to go to the loo (so about every 20 minutes), I come back to find one or both of them curled up on it! Grin

wispaxmas · 04/09/2016 19:09

Fenella, my dog does the same if I get up in the night, it's like she thinks I'm not coming back!

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 19:22

Anyone else got their 20 week scan coming up?

topmammy · 04/09/2016 19:41

Another one here with a downstairs loo! Last time I got up so many times to pee I could practically sleep walk to do it Grin
I am seriously considering a chamber pot this time though haha!

I have felt less mood swing-y today thank goodness. Went to see Bad Moms which was a good laugh Grin

I've got to wait till 7th October for my 20 week scan Sparkles Shock feels like ages away.

Evening ladies.

fenella getting there slowly. Very slowly. Got a builder coming tomorrow to sort out wardrobes and removing a fire place as we can't have wardrobes until that's been done so a lot still in boxes!! And waiting till next weekend for OH and his mate to board a section of the loft so we can put all stuff up there!!! Until that's done the 2nd bedroom that will be a nursery is filled with boxes and crap!

Struggling tonight as its back to work for me tomorrow after the summer off and I am not feeling right. I can't stand for more than 5-10 mins or it all feels weird in my foof! And my job is standing and lifting stuff nearly all day.

GinIsIn · 04/09/2016 20:04

wispa - bless! we are dog-sitting for a friend's dog at the moment so I am fighting 2 dogs and DH for my pillow! Grin

wispaxmas · 04/09/2016 20:16

sparkles, mine isn't until 23 September, I'm so impatient for it, though!

topmammy · 04/09/2016 20:19

Oh dear, hope you're feeling better for tomorrow diva . I'm back on Tuesday after the summer off, nooo Sad

What are your recommendations for where to get a pregnancy pillow from ladies? (Not a dream genii though). I think it's time I start using one. I've been shoving the duvet between my knees recently as it's comfy!

Sunshineface123 · 04/09/2016 20:23

Thanks sparkles
I'm also confused with preg pillow, only used it once n woke up with a sore neck, I'm sure I'm just not doing it right!!

topmammy · 04/09/2016 20:38

sparkles / sunshine it sounds like you're actually laying on the pillow? (Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick). You just lay on your side and hug the pillow to your chest with the lower half of the pillow between your legs/knees. Like a big banana Grin

I'm 13th Sept Sparkles....can't wait! My mum has predicted boy from 12wk scan pic, but she got it wrong last time so not hanging too much on that one. DS wants a sister. I just want to know what it is Smile

Shellbell0403 · 04/09/2016 20:56

I bought a V shaped pillow from ikea today for £7 and it's so comfy!! I know it won't do for long but omg! Lol

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 21:03

Topmammy is yours the big u shaped one?

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 21:05

I think having check ups with midwife where you hear the heartbeat help with the wait for the 20 week scan. I am dying to know the wed but as it gets closer now just want to know it's all ok!

SBSparkles · 04/09/2016 21:06

Ready my brother saw the 12 week scan pic and instantly said 'boy' but I'm not sure what he was going on! Everyone seems to think boy though. Maybe because I didn't have much Ms.

Sunshineface123 · 04/09/2016 21:12

topmammy your way sounds better! I think I had it the wrong way round too, will report back!
