ever I'm feeling strange feeling too! Can't quite describe it if you get me! Not long now, we are nearly half way 😊😘

itsliz · 19/09/2016 22:19

Thanks Friendly - I couldn't remember who to ask! All joined up now and already feeling a bit more in the loop Smile

I've been feeling tiny movements most days from about 14 weeks but can't wait to start getting proper kicks - partly because it makes it all feel more real and partly because it'll stop me from worrying if baby is ok all the time!

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 19/09/2016 22:49

Had my scan today! Baby is doing great and all looking well. Hubby made it clear we weren't finding out so I got no sneaky peaks lol. She kept turning the screen away when looking in that area. I'll post a pic though and youbcan all have a guess anyway lol.

I'm feeling full on kicks now at 20+3. Feels amazing and its making it all so real. Any ladies not feeling much yet it will come and it will be lovely 😊 .

Forgot who asked but I'm getting the chicco close to me. Its been highly recommended by my cousin. X

twocatsandatoddler · 19/09/2016 22:50

London if you're worried you could always cover the bouncer with a large muslin / blanket and remove it when you use it for the baby so only the muslin gets hairy. I doubt raising it off the floor would deter a cat too much - if anything it would make it more attractive to mine as cats like being high up.

But I didn't find it too much of an issue with my two. They did sleep in the pram carry cot and car seat but not the cot or Moses basket really. We soon figured out that DS wasn't allergic and stopped worrying, although I would shoo them out if I caught them sleeping somewhere they shouldn't be. They both still like to sleep on the buggy seat if it's unfolded!

Congrats keeping !
Awake again.. 3-4am almost every night. Feels like Christmas Eve with scan tomorrow!

Readyfortwo · 20/09/2016 06:33

I was awake from 4am mystery, first it was me needing to pee, then DH peuking, then the baby wriggling about/ kicking me.

Evergreen17 · 20/09/2016 07:01

Shell I want to see the bubba on the screen and see if he / she is moving and at the same time I feel these movements so I can be sure that is what they areGrin
I wish I had a scanning machine at home
Keeping great news about scan!!!!!
10 days to go for mine!!!
Mystery I am always awake
I have to go pee a minimum of 3 times every night
Hating it

Mysterycat23 · 20/09/2016 07:37

I have to wee usually but then am just awake for at least an hour even though tired. Sometimes can't get back to sleep at all and end up a zombie next day, now that I do dislike! Much baby wriggling yday and last night didn't help either. DH joked little bubba knows we're going to spy on him/her today and is wriggling around to work out the best position to hide from the scanner and keep its legs crossed! Grin

Evergreen17 · 20/09/2016 07:47

Yes I am a zombie too Sad
I wanna see my bubba!!!!! I can't wait 10 days
Not fair Envy 7 whole weeks since I last saw

GinIsIn · 20/09/2016 07:50

Our 20 week scan is a week late so not until next Friday and I can't wait either - I WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S COOKING!!!

Just noticed that the January lot are only on thread 2?!??!

Shellbell0403 · 20/09/2016 08:07

keeping congrats on the scan! I think it's a wee pink one...
ever i know what you mean haha... Iv got mine in 9 days, 29th for me..
mystery good luck on the scan! I'm sure bubba will behave lol..

I was up in the middle of the night also needing the loo and a sore pain on my right side...

Is everyone managing to sleep on their left side all night? I'm struggling x

divadee · 20/09/2016 08:13

Morning ladies.

Good luck to all scans today. And I hope bubs behaves and is in the right place for finding out the sex.

I have a busy day but I'm now getting distracted by lists for what I will need for a home birth!!!! I need to stop and actually do some work.

Evergreen17 · 20/09/2016 08:16

Fenella GrinGrinGrin**
And why are you peeking into January??? Are you planning on leaving us?! Envy
Shell I sleep however I can to be honest. from my research it is not that bad not to be on your left so I keep changing postures as I need some sleep

Evergreen17 · 20/09/2016 08:17

Gosh that wasnt meant to be all bold Confused sorry for shouting it was an accident

FriendlyGhost · 20/09/2016 08:33

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting so impatient about the scan. I only have to wait until Friday but it's driving me crazy. I have a very full day planned today to keep my mind off it!
I peaked into January too as I have a friend on the group (from my dd's mn group) who is due two weeks before me. Her last baby was a premmie though and they expect this one will be too so I think she's probably given up and moved to December. I think we're just an exceptionally chatty bunch. It's lovely!

LondonGirl83 · 20/09/2016 08:36

Congrats keeping! My scan is also after 20 weeks for some reason. I have another 15 days to wait but as I already know the gender for me it's all about making sure baby girl is healthy. That I can feel her moving around though! I have an appointment before that though next Friday so hopefully I'll get a extra scan!

twocatsandatoddler · 20/09/2016 08:41

My scan is this afternoon! I'm excited! More excited than last time as last time we didn't find out the sex so was just about making sure baby was ok. This time there's an added surprise! Although it will take away the surprise at birth so it balances out I guess!

FriendlyGhost · 20/09/2016 08:45

Good luck today mystery and twocats. Excited to hear what you're having!

Evergreen17 · 20/09/2016 08:57

Ladies we havent shared bumps for a while. I feel reassured now that I can see it growing

Ooh I love this period of everyone wishing well to each other's scans! Good luck for today mystery and twocats Grin

I think that's me, Friendly and wispa all on Friday?

Eeeep!!

Recently, I'm not getting up to pee Confused. I can feel something happening down there so I'm not overly worried - I do wake up in the night to get comfy - but maybe i'm not drinking enough in the evenings. I know my uterus is meant to shift upwards away from pressing on my bladder, so I guess that's happened.

Bisquick · 20/09/2016 09:15

Hello! I've managed to catch DHs cold so have spent the past 2 days in bed. Somehow these minor things seem amplified when pregnant.
We did manage to go to Mothercare and John Lewis to look at prams and pushchairs, and think we've narrowed it down to a handful we like. Won't buy until bubs is here though since I think we'd like to try carrying him as much as possible early on.
Good luck for everyone having their scans today! Mine is only next Friday so I've got a ways to go, but going away for a long Euro weekend with DH, so hoping time'll fly by!

FriendlyGhost · 20/09/2016 10:02

Here's my bump pic at 19+5!

Shellbell0403 · 20/09/2016 10:31

Ladies.... I need a wee rant and some advice... I don't want this to sound as though I'm being ungrateful or bitchy etc...

So my mum has bought her pram for her house and about to get a car seat and has bought other stuff! She knows that we aren't buying things until after 20 weeks but I feel as though she is taking the excitement away from me and DH and that she's kinda trying to take over...
I am starting to wonder that she is thinking that the baby is going to be at hers quite a lot and she's already told me she will be at hers in March! I don't think so considering I'm due middle of Feb!!

I really don't mean that to sound bad etc but it's just doing my head in a wee bit
