Packers due in 30 minutes. After me bullying DH for months to sort his shit out he's decided that NOW is the time?!!!! AAAARRRGGGGHHHH

lala it's not uncommon to get a bump later with your first :). I was a 10/12 before DD and had nothing until about 21 weeks. I felt so awkward at my 20 week scan because my stomach was so flat! This time though I'm huge and have been obviously pregnant since about 16 weeks.

Private scan this morning and I suddenly have major scanxiety. Really hoping they can see the sex because I stupidly booked a package that doesn't offer a free re scan if they can't.

Ever your bump is like mine.. we are due date twins and looks like our bumps are very similar too! Don't feel as bad now haha... my boobs and nipples are sore also.. need to go bra shopping but hate getting measured!!

spin hopefully one day before I give birth I will grow a bump! Lol! All the best for today our gender scan last weekend was amazing she spent so much time with us and they have lots of little tricks to get baby moving! Our little madam was fast asleep with legs crossed at first, then she had her cord in between her legs!! But with a few pokes and wriggles she started moving all over the place and we found out she was a girl. Amazing experience! Then you can go and let rip in the shops! X

So happy to hear all the scan news! Exactly 1 month to go until 20 week scan for me, but I am trying not to wish the time away :)
Sparkles, I have an anterior placenta too and did also on my last pregnancy. I was kind of hoping not to have this time so I could feel more movement but I guess that's just where my babies' placentas like to attach!

I did my first bit of baby shopping at a nearly new sale this morning. I found a lovely fleece sleep suit for 40p which will be perfect if it is freezing. Bargain!

I then went to Debenhams but I measured myself at home and tried a few bras

Evergreen hehe! I know it was a typo!! I like to tease! Just bought my first baby items!!! Eeek!! They are SO cute! There's so many nice things in M&S i just have to find out the sex!! My reasoning is that the winter stuff might have gone by end of jan/early Feb!!!

Looks like another girl! Baby was wriggling round loads so she got a good view of everything. I'm still paranoid though so waiting for my 20 week scan to confirm.

Guys-- I've become incredibly angry at my mom about something she did and said a almost 2 months ago

I got over it ages ago but all of a sudden I'm raging. I think my hormones are making me really angry this afternoon. I feel like a ticking time bomb! Before now, I'd only felt weepy but its shifting into an entire new bag of crazy now. I hope it passes before I go back to work...

London, ever, thirded over here. I completely agree with the thing about not being able to let the small things go - I mull and seethe over stuff which has annoyed me so much more and work myself up into a right upset over things I'd normally shrug off. I've only really found it over the past few weeks - I guess our bodies are changing so much all the time from different hormone dumps, but it sucks on occasion to feel like a completely different me.

SBS bunny is so cute! Bumble fleece sounds lovely! :) Were you at the same sale as me yesterday?! It was amazing, so much cute stuff! Really wished I knew the sex! Ended up getting a baby wrap sling thing which I hadn't planned on but a friendly passer by told me how useful she found hers.. Have been practising putting it on and scaring the heck out of DH ! Also got a manly baby carrier for DH with lots of manly straps. Not that men can't wear slings of course! Maybe he will try both! For first timers like me, definitely recommend googling to find nearest nct sales, there was so much good quality new and barely used stuff. I will be going again! Wow!

I need to just accept I've lost the battle here and buy a second pregnancy pillow, don't I?

I am currently 17+5 and due on Feb 14th (hoping for a valentines baby) and would be interested in seeing if I have any due date twins!

As per comments above, I got my maternity bras from mothercare and they are so comfy :). X

Morning lovely ladies.

I am struggling to find a cot bed I like after deciding not to use the one I had for my daughter (18 years ago!!) as I am worried that safety has changed on them. I want an oak coloured one that matches my ikea malm furniture as I'm not buying all new nursery furniture for her. All the ones I see are like £7/800 I saw one on precious little ones (I think) but it was a mini cot bed and worried that won't last very long. Has anyone got advice on a mini cot bed?

Welcome Mrs, I'm your due date twin! I'll eat my hat if s/he comes on time, but it is lovely to say that the date is Valentine's Day! Is it your first? When's your 20 week scan? Mine's on 27 Sep...excited, but nervous. We fly to Hawaii the next day (last blowout holiday!) so hoping we can go full of excitement rather than any worry.

Loving all the bump pics everyone! Good tip about buying winter baby clothes early too. Still haven't bought anything - sis-in-law is sending us a list of baby things she can give us because she doesn't need them anymore, so generous! Includes a high chair with an attachment so newborn babies can be at the table with you (Stokke?) - love that idea!

Hi SkyLucy :) that's great! Congratulations! Yes this is my first and my 20 week scan is on the same day as you.. 27th Sept in the afternoon! I can't wait. It's been a bitter sweet first half for us as received high risk of Down's syndrome result from the combined screening. The scans are making it all feel better :)
