I'm loving all the pics of bumps, but also the idea that we're snapping away in the loos at work! I'd like to say I didn't take this photo 2 mins ago and that I'm not still in my PJs but we've been getting the house ready for a party tomorrow and they're just more comfy!! This is me at 19+3, trying not to suck in!!

Aww cute wee petite bumps :) xx

Lala6971 · 09/09/2016 16:15

I don't have a bump :( to the point everyone I tell I am nearly 20 weeks gone won't believe me! Guess that what comes of being a bigger girl :( I am still in my normal size 18 jeans etc too :( just look fatter :( do fat people get bumps to eventually? Lol!

SBSparkles · 09/09/2016 17:08

Hi everyone! I had my 20 week scan today! All is healthy and measures right. And we're having a.......baby!!! He/she had their legs crossed so we couldn't find the sex!!! Hubby more upset about it than me! Cheeky monkey is playing a trick on us already!! Smile also found out I have one of those placentas at the front - can't remember what it's called. It was wriggling around like crazy but I still don't feel all that much so just goes to show!!!

SBSparkles · 09/09/2016 17:10

Oh and don't worry about bump sizes! After being told twice at work that I was really small my baby is actually measuring 3 days bigger than expected! Apparently some people just pop out later!!

Naschkatze · 09/09/2016 17:15

Evergreen My senior leadership team know and I've told a couple of other colleagues. I was hoping it would spread from there but everyone is being too good! Or everyone knows and they're talking about it behind my back. WinkWork gathering next week so I'll explain to people then why I'm not drinking. I wanted to keep it till 20 week scan too but it's getting gradually harder to hide in the warm weather we're having. Bring on the large cardigans!

These smaller bumps have made me feel more confident to share mine Grin it is definitely bigger in the evenings...well actually after lunch (usually a school dinner at work) so that might have something to do with it! 16 weeks today.

Good news Sparkles, glad all is well!

topmammy · 09/09/2016 17:36

I got the same coat as Fenella in the sale. It's got a very soft and fluffy lining, it'll be great if it's freezing but I think I might need a lighter jacket for autumn.

I'm back at work now so totally knackered! Had my 16week appointment yesterday which was fine. Although blood pressure was higher (still within normal range though) than it has been last 2 times they checked and had ketones in my urine - both things due to working and rushing to my appointment not having had time to eat. Roll on maternity leave Grin

I thought a parent at school might have asked me by now if I'm pregnant but nope... they're either just being polite or I still just look fat rather than pregnant! Hehe.

Feeling pretty sore this time low down on each side, I guess where the round ligaments are. Hurts most when I get up after sitting down. Never felt like this so soon last time. I think I will be proper waddling before too long, eek!

Thank you everyone!
I told the team and they were so sweet SmileSmileSmileSmile Happy I did!!!

Sausage I have been looking into that Next coat with panels too Grin

I am getting my first maternity clothing purchases today so exciting. But my boobs are MASSIVE I need new bras!!!
Nice bumps everyone. Some smaller than others, we are all different Smile
Hahaha sparkles "We're having a baby"

CeeCeeEnnEss · 09/09/2016 19:48

kiki I agree our bumps look similar :)

Those ladies who know the sex, are your bumps in any particular position? I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out what I'm having! Scan next Wednesday so may have to convince DH to find out if we can...

LondonGirl83 · 09/09/2016 20:09

I'm having a girl and you could say I'm carrying low CeeCee. My bump is about the same size as yours.

Shellbell0403 · 09/09/2016 20:21

london I'm the same as you..

Readyfortwo · 09/09/2016 20:42

Here's mine (end of day & slightly odd angle so boobs look huge & hips look tiny!)

kikisdelivery · 09/09/2016 20:48

Lala welcome! The thread moves so fast I feel like you might be new, but even if not, hello!

Don't be daft about being fat! I'm normally a 16, 18 in some shops depending on cut/fit. I do believe it takes us curvier ladies longer to pop out but all these different bump shapes and sizes just go to show how differently we are all brewing our little 'uns, and the cosy positions they've got themselves in to!

Sparkles glad all is well with your cheeky bub! Not being able to find out is my worst nightmare, I am the most terrible, impatient person! I bet my bub will play a similar trick! Grin The most important thing is he/she is happy in there and all looking good Smile

divadee · 09/09/2016 21:20

Well I am the size of a whale compared to some of you. My bump is like a barrel. If I didn't already know a girl I would of guessed from carrying it all round and my waist and hips getting massive. Was a 10-12 before pregnancy. I am carrying very low though. Feels like she will pop out sometimes!!

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 09/09/2016 21:35

I carried all over with my second girl but was all bump with my first (also girl) so really hard for me to go off that lol. I'm all bump this time but think that's more to do with me eating well. I do think I'm having a girl but there's nothing really behind that guess, just look at my scan pic and think girl. I've got my scan on the 19th when I'll be 20+3 , I'm really excited but it does feel weird knowing I won't be finding out if baby is a boy or girl. Found out with my girls but promised hubby we would have a surprise this time even though it will drive me insane! I will be seeing if I can spot anything between the legs haha.

Coats.... I have a men's waterproof (plain black) from my last pregnancy that is now huge but will work just fine on really rainy days when I have to be out in it. Otherwise I don't really wear coats in winter. I absolutely love my ponchos and have about 5 and 3 wraps so won't be getting more. Doesn't matter how big bump gets with them so all good. X

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 09/09/2016 21:39

I'm 19weeks today so have done a bump pic. I'll do one a week from now. I have barely any pictures of me pregnant with my others and regret that so not missing a.week this time!

All the talk of winter coats and I just bought myself something this evening. I was looking around at maternity coats/jackets, but didn't like anything I saw, especially as I love my nice Hobbs parka I got a couple years ago and didn't want to spend much on something I would only wear for a single season... So I splashed out mad £££ on a tweed cape. It is lovely and warm and not a maternity item, but will EASILY accommodate a bump. This means that it will work this year and for years to come. I love it. So might be worth a thought if anyone like me doesn't want to buy something just for one year.

topmammy · 09/09/2016 21:55

Great bump pics! I need to do one for this week. I've been doing them almost weekly from the start this time round.

I've just ordered a couple of dresses and a nursing top from Isabella Oliver as there's a sale this weekend of up to 77% off. Normally waaay out of my price range so I couldnt resist. I really hope it all fits Smile

Wow I can't keep up with this thread!! I am on my rubbish phone too which makes it hard to do specific replies.

Re the bumps, mine has really popped out this week. Last week I could just about get away with being a bit porky. But this week, it's really there and it's really high too! There are several weeks between some of us on here so it's no surprise some are bigger than others. Love all the pics though.

I saw a cosy looking poncho type affair recently in tesco of all places, thinking something like that for warmth would be a good idea. Im.not really a coat person.

I'm amazed I'm still awake, must be starting to feel better though was sick this morning. Ugh.

Not sure whether to find out the sex or not. Didn't with ds.

Lala6971 · 09/09/2016 22:22

kiki thanks :) not a newbie, but more of a follower than a poster. Plus depending on if I use my iPad or my phone depends on my user name, either lala6971 or carly6971. Think I am doomed to just be permanently fat lol, it's becoming embarrassing, with everyone expecting to see this huge bump and me just looking like I have given up on the healthy pre ivf life style and gone back to living of chocolate and crisps....grrrrr....come on little lady, actually look like your in there! Lol!

Evergreen17 · 10/09/2016 07:14

Ahh bumps and more bumps Grin
I am going to buy maternity bras today. My boobs have grown another size overnight and now they are sore again!!! And sore nipples.
17 + 5
Anyone else with this problem?

I got some maternity clothes from H&M online and some were lovely but others didnt fit at all

SBSparkles · 10/09/2016 07:18

Evergreen that's the problem with online shopping! I'm so mad that they closed down the maternity section of my local H&M ten weeks into my pregnancy! My DH joked they don't want waddling pregnant women in their shops!
Worst nights sleep ever!! After my first week back full time teaching I was expecting to have a lie in and sleep really well but I was up literally every 2 hours!! I was so thirsty all night I drank 3 pints of water!!

Evergreen17 · 10/09/2016 07:21

Sparkles is rubbish. It is the same in Spain, they dont store mat clothes in stores
Shocking
I now need to send them back amd order other stuff

SBSparkles · 10/09/2016 07:43

Ah evergreen you called me rubbish! Lol!!! GrinGrin haha! Yeah I totally couldn't be bothered to send things back! I didn't know you lived in Spain?
