lillian it's raining here but apparently it's going to 'clear the air for a glorious bank holiday' Hmm I need it to be winter.

This 3rd trimester nausea is absolutely horrendous, I had a bit of a cry to OH this morning about how it's not fair I'm suffering again. Still though, only 6 weeks to go.

All quiet here. Absolutely zero signs of labour last night or this morning Hmm I had three texts from friends yesterday asking if baby had arrived yet. I'm pretty sure I'd tell them if she had!

Pink - If I get any of those texts, I think my standard response will be 'yes, arrived last week, we're trying to keep it secret', or something similar. To show how ridiculous it is that they think we wouldn't have told them.

Actually, every time I've seen my mother-in-law recently, she always says 'oh, you will tell me the moment it arrives, won't you?!?'. The first time or so we reassured her we would, but now we just say 'no, we'll tell you around Christmas, if we feel like it' (obviously light-hearted, to show her she's being a bit ridiculous). Hasn't stopped her asking though... Hmm

Miley, I'm so sorry you poor thing, you've really caught the rough end of this. Are you back on the sickness medication, or just trying to push through it?

pink unfortunately yes! It seems to hit at random times during the day so no set pattern. I'm really rooting for you and hope that baby decides to make an appearance soon! I think it's a common occurrence for people to ask you to tell them immediately! My friends aren't too bad but my grandma is convinced I'll deliver early when she's on holiday and has asked me to tell her instead of waiting for her to come home Hmm they are quite ridiculous.

lisa I'm just going with it in hopes that it disappears as quickly as it returned. I'm feeling a bit pathetic having a cry over it Blush

I can't stop thinking about leonie! Really hoping all is well and babu is here Grin

Elle yes i've been suffering from bloating quite a bit for the last few weeks, some days feel "pregnant" sometimes feel nothing.... wasn't expecting that. I was very confused !

Pink yes its my first bfp. Came off the pill last september, so lucky on my 8th/9th cycle, but last AF back in may, so just been very confused for many months. A month ago i was seriously googling menopause symptoms.....

  • just tell your friends : no news - no baby !

I'm just happy and a lot calmer now IFYWIM now i know where i stand ! I know bean has a long way to go, but on the plus side, i now know i had no alcohol (except 1st week perhaps) and am now taking my vit D so am being much healthier much earlier on.

Pink - omg same re texts yesterday, I couldn't even face my dads daily call to 'see how I am', code for 'is the baby coming'. No real developments - I was up from 3.30-6 pacing with back ache but think that's just from laying down.

Baby boy was born this morning by caesarean weighing 5lbs 13oz. We are both doing fine. Lots of skin to skin.

The babies will come when they are good and ready I suppose Shelb, but the waiting game is so hard.

Whoever asked about perineal massage, I bought some oil and have tried it a few times but to be honest it made me feel a bit unwell afterwards. I wasn't entirely convinced I was doing it right (despite lots of googling) and always felt a bit queasy after, so it's kind of fallen by the wayside.

potato we've just had Jacob in his nappy a lot. It's so hot here. He seems much happier.

Bunch'well done for surviving your first day alone! I'm so impressed. Dreading mine.

Soda def do some perineal massage. I have no idea if it helped, but I did it about 4 times and only had small grazes that didn't need stitching

So, after thinking I'm recovering super well, suddenly it feels like I've been kicked in the foof. I'm guessing it's thhe bruising coming out. Ouch.

Hep I felt like that too but then nausea hit 6-12/13 weeks. Time sped up loads for me after the 12 week scan! It's definitely good that you've had all your vitamins etc.

New ouch! How strange.

Elle I really thought i had been lucky and missed out on the morning sickness !! eek! am ok so far ....

i was confused why in the last week my symptoms were going backwards.....

think i finally got this extra-sense smell thing going on ..... always great for approaching the litter tray :/
also things are tasting odd... not metallic as such .... more that the seasoning is not right?

Miley sorry the nausea has got you again - maybe the heat making it worse? how much longer until ML?

Glad things are going well potato! New that bruised feeling sounds horrible - how strange that you can only feel it now - perhaps the swelling was numbing it the first few days. Well done on first day mumming without DH bunch - hope it just gets easier from here!
