Next aldi baby event starts on 22 sept.

I got a travel cot, high chair abs baby bouncer all for less than a tenner each at the one a couple of weeks ago. Handy until you work out what you want / need, or for grandparents house

Some of these nights I get through without wakening. It's driving me mad. Just can't get comfortable and all the moving eventually wakes me. How is everyone else coping?

LittleBear01 · 16/08/2016 04:34

I'm the same Nojo, I often wake around 4am for a hour or 2, in addition to all the mini wake-ups for wees! My baby does a lot of kicking around 4am so maybe he's preparing me for when he's born?

puppythedog · 16/08/2016 07:27

In other news, M&S have a 50% Sale online, got some cute baby clothes on there if any of you are interested Smile

Hi guys, in case anyone will be shopping in Tesco they have two discount codes at the moment.

sueevone · 16/08/2016 13:03

I've added you on fb puppy.
Thanks

Bigfam · 16/08/2016 13:22

I'm waking most nights between 3-4am as well and not going back to sleep til 6, then toddler is waking at half 6 😴

Got most of the school stuff sorted today, can't wait to see the 4.5 year old all dressed up 😆

veryfriendlylion · 16/08/2016 15:06

Thanks for adding me to the Facebook group.

Had anomaly scan today- all looking good. Held out with asking about the gender and glad I did not as no going back!

Ordered changing unit, cot and some other bits in celebration of scan as all feeling a bit more real now Grin

TipBoov · 16/08/2016 15:25

Amazon baby box arrived today, I'm really pleased with it, the swaddle muslin is a great size.

Popskipiekin · 16/08/2016 15:33

Noooooooooo TipBoov don't rub it in! Sad

Wink Glad it's lovely!

friendlylion great news on scan! and well done on holding out.

bigfam you're amazing juggling all that and being pregnant - just the one toddler is flooring me right now.

TipBoov · 16/08/2016 15:48

I'm sure they'll do it again popski - this was box B, so there must be a box C in the pipeline!

BristolLFR · 16/08/2016 17:06

Ooh thanks sue, we've got some tesco vouchers built up so that could save us some cash!

duxb · 16/08/2016 18:25

Hi all - Morrisons baby event on at the moment. Some online some just in store but got a Motorola video monitor for £39 which is a great price. Smile

StubbleTurnips · 16/08/2016 18:33

HR received my matb1 form so had a call with them today, I officially finish on 24th November and don't return until Jan 2018. Grin

puppythedog · 16/08/2016 19:08

HI lovelies
When adding on FB please drop me a quick message saying hi and from Mumsnet. I'm not usually findable so even though it's planned it's weird to me when people add me :-)

James

Bigfam · 16/08/2016 19:09

veryfriendlylion glad to hear your scan went well and that you're feeling excited 😊

Popskipiekin awww thanks, that's made me feel better. Was feeling a bit down after a particularly crap day, they've all been complete nightmares today apart from dd1, I was ready for bed by midday!

I've decided if only the cover arrives for the sleepyhead order, I'm just going to get a refund and get a purflo bednest, they're on Amazon just below the sleepyheads, are less than half the price & good reviews. A few people I've spoken to have received pods, others only the covers of the sleepyhead so will have to wait and see. Confused

goinggrey1978 · 16/08/2016 21:01

what formula milk is the best one please??

Bigfam · 16/08/2016 21:10

goinggrey1978 I think they're all near enough the same, at a push I'd probably go with aptimal (which also produces cow & gate formula I think?)
To start with I'm only buying one, I stock piled with dd3 but she ended up having awful reflux so all the formula we had ended up being wasted.

TipBoov · 16/08/2016 21:11

They are all pretty much the same goinggrey.

A tip I read on MN was to go for the one your nearest shop sells, so you can quickly buy some if you unexpectedly run out!

StubbleTurnips · 16/08/2016 21:43

We used Hipp last time going (mix fed), they're all the same but I was a sucker for the organic marketing.
