If it makes you feel any better deliciously, there's 15 months between ds and dd Shock I didn't even get to go back to work between may leaves

LotsaTuddles · 29/07/2016 08:00

I'll be having one around 7-8 weeks. Seems forever away at the minute though

summerskittles91 · 29/07/2016 08:10

I went to the Drs and went on the wait list for the midwife, she's going to ring/send a letter for an appointment! Feeling quite excited now Smile

Hello to everyone who has joined over the past few days! I feel so glad I have somewhere I can talk to everyone about stuff, not told anyone in RL yet!

Flowers5 · 29/07/2016 08:17

This one that I found said that they can do it from 8 week, so I thought I would try to hold out for that Hmm

DeliciouslyHella · 29/07/2016 08:26

Thanks Lotsa! You're a hero!

I had a v early scan with DD as I was experiencing severe pains. At 6 weeks, there was no heartbeat, but when I was rescanned a week later, there was.

gemsbok · 29/07/2016 08:34

Welcome to everyone, this is getting very exciting Smile

There don't seem to be any good early scan deals within a couple hours from me, so I'll try to hold out till 12 weeks. With DS I had a fairly heavy bleed at 8 weeks, the gp was less than helpful so I booked in to a private one. All was ok Smile.

My symptoms seem to have disappeared, but I think it's because I work weds to fri and have spent the last 3 days sat on my bum rather than chasing a toddler around.

lotsoffreckles · 29/07/2016 08:54

Hey ladies, can I join, got my BFP last Sat, result of my 2nd round of IVF and 1 FET inbetween! So nervous and wishing the next week and a bit away till my viability scan on the 10th Aug.... please keep me sane!

MonkeyArms · 29/07/2016 09:20

Welcome freckles!

I am trying to take the view that there will always be something to worry about even if all our embryos make it to 93. If we don't enjoy the now because something bad could happen before the next landmark, we will have wasted the opportunity to be happy. And when we reach the next landmark we will instantly switch to stressing about the next thing.

So right now I am happy because I am pregnant now. I cant control what happens next but I can enjoy the now.

LotsaTuddles · 29/07/2016 14:06

Grin deliciously. Not a hero, potentially stupid Shock

Ds is 3 in September and dd 19 months

MrsBellefleur · 29/07/2016 14:07

Hi everyone can I join? 4+6 today due 1st April. This will be number 2, dd is 3.4yo. Tested last Monday a week before my period was due and got a fairly strong positive, just for fun tested today and the line was very dark and showed up instantly. I'm worried it's twins!

love2003 · 29/07/2016 17:55

That's a lovely way to put it monkeyarms. When ttc I was worried I wld never get pregnant. Now I'm pregnant I'm worrying about everything going well!

Cineraria · 29/07/2016 18:45

That is the same age gap I'll have hella. My DS is also ten months. I wonder what they'll make of the new babies. I think they'll be old enough to take an interest but not to understand completely. The idea of twins scares me too, MrsBellefleur. I can't imagine having three still in nappies. DH looked horrified when I jokingly mentioned twins as he loves his car and would have to change it as we couldn't get three baby seats in it. I think he'll be in tenterhooks until the scan. Last time though he was really keen on the thought of twins (a boy and a girl to complete the family) and seemed quite disappointed when the sonographer said it wasn't.

I find these threads so hard to keep up with! Is there a March/ April facebook group yet?

muchtodobutstopforcuddles · 30/07/2016 01:09

Hello everyone! And congratulations to you all!

I'd like to join you if that's ok. Got a BFP a couple of days ago. It's still sinking in! EDD 8th April and this will be my third. Feeling a little nervous about 3 :/ My DSs are nearly 4 and 20 months. I had horrendous morning sickness with my previous 2 and already starting to feel nauseous with this one. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed its not going to be as bad as I remember.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

everdene · 30/07/2016 07:17

Hi all, I got my BFP positive yesterday!

This is baby #1 for me and I'm excited/exhilarated/scared but utterly thrilled to be here.

Due date is April 11th.

drinkyourmilk · 30/07/2016 10:11

WeLome all you lovely new ladies. Can't believe we've got edd of 11th April already! Time is racing.

Bellatrixandstrange · 30/07/2016 10:55

Is this normal, I'm up at 5 every morning to have a wee and have gone 3 times by 7!? Wish I could talk to p

Bellatrixandstrange · 30/07/2016 10:55

Sorry it escaped I meant to say I wish I could talk to ppl in real life!

DeliciouslyHella · 30/07/2016 12:29

That's totally normal Bellatrix. Pregnancy hormones make you wee a lot.

Bellatrixandstrange · 30/07/2016 12:37

Thank you, everything seems so odd and I have no idea what to expect!

bellyrubgirl · 30/07/2016 13:31

Congratulations to all the newcomers.
I tested 3 days ago and still haven't told DH. I think I will do a test again tomorrow and bring it with me while we take a walk to the spot we got engaged and show it to him then. Hope it works out that way lol. It's been hard not saying anything. I don't want to tell family/friends etc until 12 weeks but i don't know what to do about the reflexologist I see monthly, or my gym instructor. I'm still lifting weights and burpees and squats etc. Anyone any experience with this?

DeliciouslyHella · 30/07/2016 13:36

Bellyrub - I really think you need to tell your gym instructor and reflexologist. It might not affect your treatment or workout at all, but for health and safety it's best they know. Ask them to treat the information confidentially, and they should totally respect your wishes.

bellyrubgirl · 30/07/2016 14:04

Thanks DeliciouslyHella, I was thinking that myself but then a small part of me was thinking was I being over the top telling them when I'm so early on.

ScandiManny · 30/07/2016 16:07

Hello to new joiners :)

It's my birthday today and I've just had to cancel the planned night out to a cocktail bar that my brother had arranged. Feel terrible but the closer it got, the more I realised I wouldn't be able to not drink without it being really obvious. I'm just not ready to tell yet. Hopefully when I explain in a few weeks they'll understand but I still feel rotten Sad

Cineraria · 30/07/2016 17:18

That's a shame Scandi. I hope you have a nice evening doing something else instead to celebrate. Happy birthday!
