Hi, can I join? Just got BFP this morning. My app says I'm due 26 April but I haven't worked anything out too accurately yet. :) this is DC2 but I had an early miscarriage in April if this year (so an April due date is quite fitting!)

Oh and we live in germany but are on holiday in France right now.

I'm on way to interview. Well it's actually an 'assessment centre' then further interview later this month if successful. Can't stop thinking about being sick. Slight panic.

So sorry spindelina Flowers

Bertie I had mine in April this year too.

MrsRhubard we only need to replace a few things that didn't last pet 2 babies (and a puppy) so highchair, baby gym, potentially Moses basket, but mine tend to be tummy sleepers anyway so will probably go straight into cot with the angelcare monitor. The only thing we'll need to buy eventually will be a bed. But mine are also escape artists so tend to be in a bed around 1st birthday

Had my scan date and booking appointment through yesterday. Biking in is 24th August, scan is 7th Sept, can't wait!

7+4 here and last night I definetly looked pregnant. Thinking its most likely a mixture of bloat and 3rd baby non existent stomach muscles at this stage though.

Just dropping in to say hello. I've been lurking for a week or so.
5+4 here by LMP but I Ov late so suspect that may be just 5 at the moment.
Hopefully this will be DC#2 Unfortunatley like Abacha my DS died 5 days after birth last year too. I hope these pregnancies are kind on all of us. Its taken me 6 months to fall with this one. Chat I recognise you from a previous thread, I'm so sorry about your DS and your subsiquent miscarriages. I hope all goes well with your early scan tomorrow.
Wishing everyone a happy and health 9 months!

Good luck marmite - I'm sure you'll ace it

Hello to all the newbies.

I had my GP appt yesterday. I felt a bit meh afterwards as she didn't even do a pregnancy test. Booking appointment scheduled for 31 Aug and I should get my scan letter in the post.

We had been trying to get pregnant for 18months and had started having tests to see what was wrong. DH had abnormal results first time round and had to be retested. I then found out I was pregnant. Anyway - the second result has also come back abnormal and he has to see the GP for results. He's going to find out what the problem is, as we'd like to know for future. It maybe that our little bean has beaten all the odds just to get this far! I hope it sticks!!!!

So this could be over already. Lots of brown spotting. Pretty devastated

Allaboutthecake13 · 16/08/2016 13:14

So sorry to hear that Jpeg Flowers

MrsRhubarb · 16/08/2016 13:16

TopKittyKat · 16/08/2016 13:26

Oh no - sorry to hear that jpeg

gemsbok · 16/08/2016 13:30

jpeg - I had lots of brown spotting and a full on big bleed in my last pregnancy, he's now a healthy 2 year old. Spotting is pretty normal - fingers crossed for you x

jpeg28 · 16/08/2016 13:37

thanks gems... I had a MC in March so I'm really panicking but hopefully it's just going to stay spotting x

Bakersdelight · 16/08/2016 13:39

I don't remember having the exteme hot and cold flushes last time around nor the insomnia! Exhausting! Amazing what the mind and body wants you to forget. Just received confirmation from GP that early scan is booked for next Wednesday! Excited and nervous altogether. Feeling very achy in my hips and pelvis and the breast sensitivity with a nursing toddler is indescribable!

TopKittyKat · 16/08/2016 13:41

I'm keeping fingers crossed for you jpeg

Is it around the time you would normally have your period? I know spotting is common around the time you miss your first period but also when you would have the second period.

Theknittinggorilla · 16/08/2016 13:54

Really hoping it's nothing to worry about jpeg Flowers

summerskittles91 · 16/08/2016 14:08

Hope everything is ok jpeg Do go to your GP/Hospital or local EPU unit to get checked out if you're worried.

I've just been to the GP as not managing to keep any food down. She just prescribed me with anti sickness tablets and told me to eat ginger biscuits :/

bananapuddles · 16/08/2016 14:15

Hi all, just an early checking in. Got my BFP this morning after trying for number two since November. Can't wait to share with you all!
