Drinkyourmilk I'm like that I woke up at 3 and went back to sleep for 2 hours and already down stairs so tired but can't sleep I've had it a couple of times now one night I'll sleep threw next I'm waking up in the middle of the night

drinkyourmilk · 13/08/2016 07:43

Sorry you are going through the same Jones, but also glad it's not just me.
I was expecting to be so knackered in the first trimester that i'd get loads of sleep. Oh well, guess at least I'll be a little more prepared in 7.5 months time

TopKittyKat · 13/08/2016 07:48

Hi ladies, I'm the same. I felt like I was tossing and turning all night. Every morning (no matter what time I go to bed - some nights even 8.30) I wake up feeling shattered.
I've also got sore boobs but luckily no sickness yet. Smile

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 08:34

Arh bless drinkyourmilk I suppose it will get better in second trimester my friend told me she said she was like us in her first and third trimester not sleeping but her second trimester she slept really well hope so don't think I'll be able to take this all threw my pregnancy and topkittykat I haven't got soar boobs yet but I have had nausea dizziness and aches feeling really chappy but my friend said all good signs of a healthy pregnancy

choccybiscuit · 13/08/2016 08:56

Yep me too. Keep waking up desperate for the loo and then finding it difficult to get back to sleep. No spotting this morning so far, but I said that yesterday too and then it reappeared not long after. I think it's a gravity problem, it's not there in the morning as I've been lying down after being up a while it shows its face. Hmm
Hello and welcome to all the new bfp's! 😊

BusyNothings · 13/08/2016 09:08

I'm like you non sleepers but in reverse I toss and turn until stupid o clock in the morning and then seem to finally pass out through exhaustion and sleep for about 4-6 hours.

I had weird pushing/pulling/light cramps yesterday in my pelvic region anybody else had that? Making me nervous!

Also yes I have the evil boobs and nipples. Hate them already.

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 09:18

Busynothing I've had cramps in my pelvic area I've been so worried keep checking my wee feeling not good I had it a few times cramps really uncomfortable got midwife next Thursday so going to talk to her about it I'm 5 weeks yesterday so getting really worried just got to take it easy when I can don't know why I'm getting everything it's my first one and I'm so scared of everything at the moment

drinkyourmilk · 13/08/2016 09:20

At the epu they told me that cramps are to be expected as even now your uterus is stretching. It's also normal to get one sided pain, and stabbed pain in your vagina.

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 09:22

Choccybiscuit just rest as much as you can I know it's really worrying try to get rest it's not good when you feel crap and on top of that no sleep

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 09:27

I feel it in my from my hip to the other side just hoping it's that don't know why I keep worrying but can't help it I'll probably worry till I get to 13 weeks stage

jpeg28 · 13/08/2016 09:32

busy I have cramps too... It's making me panic but I googled it and think it's all good! When I was pg before (MC time) I had no cramping so I'm hoping it's a positive sign for this time!
Boobs have started hurting a little today... Hooray! This time round I want every symptom going so I know I'm having a healthy pregnancy!

TopKittyKat · 13/08/2016 09:35

I'm getting pain on my left hip area. It comes and goes but can vary between a low level niggle to moderate pain. I then also get the random pain elsewhere in the abdominal region as well.
I'm also hoping that it's normal but can't help worrying. I've got a GP appt on Monday so I'll mention it then.
I'm sure we're all worrying for nothing.

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 09:56

I know topkittykat that's what my partner says to me i'm worrying for nothing I have cramps in the abdominal to got it now I think it's a uterus stretching it's really uncomfortable thow

lotsoffreckles · 13/08/2016 10:13

Morning all. My boobs are evil, DH decided it was appropriate to lean on them this morning! How he survived the next 5 minutes I will never know Angry

jobrum · 13/08/2016 11:04

Hello everyone. I'm one day late, took a test to reassure me not pregnant but there was a faint line. Slightly freaking out! This will be #2. Dd is 18 months and I've been trying to avoid sex when I thought I might be fertile but dh and I both knew that a pregnancy might happen and we were fine with that. So I'm not sure why I feel like this! Just a shock I guess. A quick look at a pregnancy calculator says I'm due around 21st April.

choccybiscuit · 13/08/2016 11:08

Thanks jones I'll try. Just like I said the pink spotting has returned but it's a lighter pink than before. Hopefully it's on its way out. busy I had cramps for a few days some sharp twinges too, i tried to look at it that baby was burrowing it way in and making its home for the next 8 months. It helped a bit.

TopKittyKat · 13/08/2016 11:21

Fingers crossed the spotting is stopping choccy. Maybe try to take it easy today?

Hi jobrum Congratulations. You've got 8 months to get used to the idea Grin

Hayls17 · 13/08/2016 11:27

Hello, I did a test yesterday and got a positive result. A bit shocked but very happy, this will be my first. I've been experiencing the weirdest cramps/stretching feeling so I'm really glad to read on this thread that it's normal!

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 11:27

Drinkyourmilk I've been having that and feeling uncomfortable and I ain't been spotting every woman body is different I think some women feel more than other women threw there pregnancy I'm sure you will be fine get plenty of rest and plenty of drink and food I'm sure it's just your body just coping with pregnancy it's a hard thing on our bodies And it takes it out of us I think the girls with cramps are just more sensitive than others

jpeg28 · 13/08/2016 11:29

Congrats jobrum that's the same due date as me! Congrats to hayls too!
Hope the spotting stops soon choccy.

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 11:42

Congrats to the new lady's there are some lovely ladies on her

choccybiscuit · 13/08/2016 11:50

Thanks ladies Grin

Hello to all the newbies! I agree, the ladies on here are really lovely!

jobrum · 13/08/2016 12:02

If this one is anything like my first pregnancy I'll probably give birth in the middle of May...

Glad I didn't spend loads of money on work trousers from Asos last week! I'll clear those out of my saved basket!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone on here. I was on the Jan 15 thread first time round and found it really reassuring to hear how other people were doing.

BusyNothings · 13/08/2016 12:05

Thanks everyone. Nice to know others are having the same symptoms. choccy that's exactly what I was telling myself lol I just didn't know if I was going round the bend!

Hi jobrum a nice surprise at least and I hope that may doesn't end up being your month!

Theknittinggorilla · 13/08/2016 12:25

Congratulations to all the new joiners.

Af was due today so I'm officially 4 weeks pregnant and the nausea has started already. That doesn't bode well - it started at 5 weeks with dc1, 4.5 weeks with dc2 and before 4 weeks with this one. Think there will be a tough few months ahead!

Don't know about anyone else but I find its like being really hungover the whole time. Without the good night before. So I'm wondering whether dehydration might be making it worse so am going to try and drink more water.
