Have you got a link please celen?

Flowers5 · 10/08/2016 22:04

I've seen lots on Groupon too, but none in my area, but managed to find one for £50 close by in London which I didn't think was bad, going to book it in for 8 weeks Grin

drinkyourmilk · 10/08/2016 22:22

I just googled private pregnancy scans in my area.

everdene · 10/08/2016 22:24

I snuck into the maternity section of H&M and tried on a couple of things today! Not even six weeks yet but my boobs and tum are huuuge - I feel swollen all over!

Have caught a couple of people glancing at my tum, keeping my blazer firmly on for the next few weeks!

drinkyourmilk · 10/08/2016 22:27

Oh Everdene I switched to leggings and a granny bra yesterday. It's awesome. I may only have a blueberry in there but I've gone up a dress size with the bloat

choccybiscuit · 10/08/2016 22:35

everdene I also snuck into the maternity section of h&m today! couldn't help myself. They had a few nice tops.

Cineraria · 10/08/2016 22:54

All my maternity dresses from last time are still hung up in my wardrobe as they were the only things I had that fitted over my bust and worked well for breastfeeding, until I found a couple more suitable dresses last month, and I can't wait to wear them again.

I'm hoping to hold out until I've started back at work after my maternity leave ends at the end of September as I think it would be nicer to ask my manager for a meeting and explain to him privately rather than reveal the news by walking in wearing a maternity dress and a Baby on Board badge!

Hi there. I'm due April 5th. Think I'm the only one. I have a 19th month old and a newly turned 4 month old. X

LotsaTuddles · 11/08/2016 08:21

The things that make the sickness slightly more bearable for me are:
-eating CONSTANTLY
-lots of salty food
-lots of water

Though my two don't really let me eat lots. So that plan doesn't last very long

I've also found that a mint can make me last longer, like if I'm driving, or in a place where I really can't be sick. A polo can help me get to a position of safety

summerskittles91 · 11/08/2016 08:37

I've being having so much chewing gum, I cant get to work without one, driving first thing in the morning makes me feel so sick :(

Breakfast didn't stay down either this morning agh! Can't wait for it to be the weekend.

MissMooMoo · 11/08/2016 08:41

Woke up for a wee this morning at 4 and felt so sick when i lay back down in bed.
I didn't actually throw up but it was so close.
Also have really loose bowels this morning (sorry for tmi)
Really struggling and feeling yuk at work but have to plod on. I'm a children's nanny and have 3 kids to mind all day.
Today is my last day before I am off for 2 weeks so feeling like I just have to get through the next 10 hours!!!

Allaboutthecake13 · 11/08/2016 08:45

Sorry if TMI but is anyone else having to wee seemingly all the time? I have a longish commute to work (90 mins door to door, involving trains and walking) and I've had to factor in a toilet stop mid way (and go again when I get to work!)

ScandiManny · 11/08/2016 09:12

I started taking 10mg of vit b6 3 times a day a few days ago and I honestly feel about 100 times better! I've gone from all day/night nausea, unable to eat, throwing up round the clock to low level on/off nausea, able to stomach basic plain foods. It doesn't do much for actual vommitting and I'm still throwing up every morning but it's made such a difference to the nausea.

Still waiting on a booking in appointment. Might give them a ring Monday if I've heard nothing as it was faster than this with DC1&2 so bit worried I've slipped through the net, possibly due to very recent name change.

summerskittles91 · 11/08/2016 09:19

I also got up in the night for a wee and couldn't get back to sleep, now I'm feeling extra tired! I go just before i leave for work, car journey is 20 mins, then need to go as soon as i get here! Blush

finova · 11/08/2016 09:21

For anyone wanting good value vitamins with everything in them (most things and highest doses of 3 I've tried), these are really good:

www.wilko.com/family-planning/pregnancy-tablets-30s/invt/0348322

MissMooMoo · 11/08/2016 09:27

I'm not really having much more frequent wee's but that will probably change in the next few weeks!
Last night was the first time I woke in the middle of the night and was desperate for a wee.

TopKittyKat · 11/08/2016 09:32

Sorry for all of you having horrid symptoms.
I seem to have none, which is making me freak out. Last week I was suffering from tiredness but now it seems to have gone. I hope all is well with my little poppy seed.

I've just booked my GP appointment to get referred to the midwife (I can't self refer apparently). Eeek!

marmitecheesetoast · 11/08/2016 09:54

I have been getting up twice in the night for a wee the last few nights! Which is really not helping with the tiredness. Had a causal hour and a half nap when I got home from work last night Hmm

The nausea has kind of gone away a bit for me for now (although it's too early for proper sickness for me yet anyway at 4+4) but the exhaustion is full on. Still freezing in the afternoon and evenings too.

Heheh everdene and choccy I had to stop myself googling maternity clothes at lunchtime yesterday!

I've got my GP appt on Monday morning so think things will feel more real then.

I'm at work with my case with me today, planning on going ahead with trip home as felt too bad about lying (DH says i'm too conscientious!) so I think I'll probably end up telling mum and dad tonight, but emphasising it's really, really early days. STill not sure what to do about bridesmaid dress shopping bit. Maybe now I can ask my mum what she thinks.

I've also still got to decide what to do about this interview next week. Isn't funny how everything happens at once.... Confused

marmitecheesetoast · 11/08/2016 09:55

Ps I stopped taking my centrum pregnancy multivitamins after googling and finding out a lot of people mention they caused them upset tummy. I'm just taking folic acid and vitamin D individually now and tummy has been much better. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but thought I'd mention in case it helps anyone else with iffy tums
