Ooh Bunch! So exciting! Love the banner Lisa!

Not long for you either Newmrs!

Hope you start to feel better today Leonie, it definitely sounds like you need to be off.

Feefs hope the physio is useful.

Potato hope you get some good unpacking going today.

Miley that is odd, are you planning to speak to midwives?

Pinklily1 · 09/08/2016 09:23

Morning all

Miley, I'd check that with your midwife. Not to worry you but at our NCT class we were told if the mucus plug is tinged with yellow or green it could mean baby has pooed and it should be checked out. It may not be your mucus plug though!

I'm 37 weeks today Smile Scary that baby is now fully cooked. Have attached a bump picture.

I woke at 3am with hip pain and struggled to get back to sleep after that, so am currently sat at my desk like a zombie. I'll admit to also checking on here at 3am to see if we had any updates from Bunch!

Congratulations on 39 weeks New. Did you NCT friends give birth early or were they 40 weeks plus?

shelbTa · 09/08/2016 09:25

Morning

I am a zombie today.

Miley - agree with pink, I'd ring the midwife about that.

Waves to everyone

X

LisaTheSimpson · 09/08/2016 10:08

Happy full-term, Pink, and great picture!

Is that the nursery that's going to be filled with stuff, or a random spare room? (If it's the nursery and you're still working on it, that will hugely reassure me as I'm 32 weeks and still haven't sorted it!).

Mileymoocow · 09/08/2016 10:17

Happy cooked baby day pink!!! Not long now Grin

Ok, I'm a little concerned. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow but think I'll call today just to be sure! I really hope it's nothing and I'm sure it's Ok plays calming whale noises

leoniethelioness · 09/08/2016 10:25

Miley I'm sure you're fine but that's what the midwives are there for - to reassure you and keep an eye on you and baby xxx

Newmrs22 · 09/08/2016 10:27

Pink congrats on 37 weeks. You look great. It's a mixture. One was a week early, one a day early and one a few days late. I'm getting jealous of their cute little babies. Want mine to hurry up now, but I'm accepting that it could be another 3 weeks

Miley it's probably nothing, but best to check just to set your mind at rest.

I'm betting bunch is having baby cuddles now and is too loved up to think of us Grin

Pinklily1 · 09/08/2016 10:29

Lisa, it's a random spare room which we haven't got any furniture in yet! The nursery is done, but was only complete at about 33 weeks so don't panic!

Miley, it's always best to call and check, just in case.

Newmrs22 · 09/08/2016 10:29

Posted too soon!

Leonie enjoy your first day off! Reading for pleasure sounds like a great plan.

Potato it will feel like home soon. I really need to do some housework. I can't settle to anything though. I keep deciding I need to clean the kitchen for example then getting side tracked by deciding the bedroom windows need cleaning. I'm never like this!

leoniethelioness · 09/08/2016 10:37

I've been for my walk to the village for a coffee and bought supplies in Tesco to make smoothies. I've been awful at eating fruit since my BFP so I am trying to make more of an effort. I only really like Jazz apples, Pink Lady apples, berries and grapes at the moment so I'm disguising bananas in the blend. I take multivitamins and eat veg so don't worry about baby! 😊 Newest favourite snack is apple and peanut butter.

I really want to clean now but I'm feeling sore so I'm going to make myself watch something on catch up for an hour then do some light cleaning. I need to pace myself...

I'm hoping no news is good news from Bunch. I wonder what name she has decided on!

Are we all set for names? The ONS list of the most popular baby names is out on Monday, apparently!

PotatosMum · 09/08/2016 11:03

Pink yay for fully cooked baby Grin

Lisa if it makes you feel any better I'm 37+3 and the nursery is full of random boxes and stuff Confused I figure the baby won't live in there until it's 6 months old anyway.

New I know what you mean, there's so much to do that it's easy to get side tracked.

Leonie glad you're having a chilled day Smile we've had our name picked for months and I'm certain it won't be on a popular name list Wink

I'm about half way through unpacking the kitchen. It's more difficult than it should be though as I have to keep sitting down for a rest due to sore feet and hips. I'm sure I'll get there though Grin

Is the name secret, Potato, or can you give us a hint? 😸😸😸

Mileymoocow · 09/08/2016 11:10

leonie we're all set for baby names! I don't mind sharing, and I know our girls names are popular but I personally don't know any! We have Emelia or Lily May and Harrison or Cameron Robert Smile

Glad you're chilling out after your walk!

Danni89 · 09/08/2016 11:17

We have a few names but won't decide until we see his face. But the winner at the moment is Mason Bailey

leoniethelioness · 09/08/2016 11:22

Ah, lovely! 💜💜💜 I particularly like Lily and Harrison. Would he be Harry for short? Emelia is so pretty too but DH's name and my dad's name both have more than one way of spelling them so we were keen to avoid anything like that (Emilia, Amelia, etc) as it can be a bit annoying. DH has an extra letter and my dad one less than normal (different names). It's a shame as we had to rule out some names we really liked like Elliott and Lucas. Shame that I am so fussy! Is Emelia Emeli Sandé's real name?

We are calling our little boy Theodore. A proper old man's name, haha!

leoniethelioness · 09/08/2016 11:23

Danni That's nice too! Quite like Jason as well as Mason.

AudreyBradshaw · 09/08/2016 11:37

We keep going g back and forth but we're compiling a list and will know when we see baby I reckon (well, I hope!) Boys : Francis (Frankie) William, Ezra, middle name will either be Bryan or Bryn. I wanted Winston but apparently that's the bloke in the direct lines advert who is a murder scene ceaser in pulp fiction! We like Theodore too leonie we've been researching our family tree and there's loads of Theodore's on it!

Girls is proving more tricky. Safiyah, Estelle, Danica are on the dh approved list. But I keep going off names, we need to pull our fingers out really!

Hoping a list going wonderfully well for bunch and Pip!

Thinking unpacky thoughts for you Potato

I love all of your names! They're really lovely!

PotatosMum · 09/08/2016 11:46

Leonie our name is secret, OH has informed me that I'm not allowed to breath a word to anyone until Potato's here... I'm not good at secrets so it's killing me lol!

Wish Bunch would get in touch. The suspense is murder! I hope she's popped and isn't stuck in the delivery room with the worlds longest labour Confused

Mileymoocow · 09/08/2016 12:31

Mason, Elliot and Theo were 3 of our names, too! Luckily all 3 have been ruled out due to people we know having babies etc so it has made it a little easier! Yes, he'd probably get Harry - I love it and think it's adorable! I get what you mean leonie, I'm a Mollie but more often than not get Molly. I always have to specify "with an ie!" I think she's an Emelie, I honestly don't know! I've seen a few Amelies around, too. OH had say over both middle names - May because that's his birth month and Robert because it's a family tradition on his side I'm not too keen

Mileymoocow · 09/08/2016 12:33

Anyone else checking back 1000x more often than usual? Come on bunch!!! I don't handle suspense well 😂

LisaTheSimpson · 09/08/2016 13:09

Yes yes yes! I feel like any second I could see posts from people congratulating Bunch! Can't wait to hear.

Loving all these names - particularly Harrison, Theodore (one of my DH's favourites), and Ezra.

I'm scared to say our names (though I may have put them here before...) as it feels like committing to them. I can't even get used to the idea of having a baby, let alone being responsible for naming it!

LillianFullStop · 09/08/2016 13:17

Hello checking in on my lunch break for news of bunch and pip's arrival. I am on edge!!!

miley agree doesn't hurt to give your midwife a call.

leonie I love the name Lily but my neice is already a Lily! Like you I love Emily but undecided on which spelling variation - will probably stick with Emily lol. I love French spellings though. I also like Claire but DH vetoed on account of it being too old fashioned. It's a sweet name though I'll work on it lol.

Have you all thought of second names to go with your name shortlist? Have gone with second names that ring nicely but I think it's nice to also have a meaningful one (eg traditions or naming after a grandparent). Such responsibility naming a little person!!!

In other good news had a scan and my placenta has moved up a tad! Still low but no longer covering the opening and they're almost sure it will move even further up and completely out of the way. Got another scan at 34w to completely rule out needing a cesarean but it is looking good! pink congrats on 37 you look amazing!!!

LisaTheSimpson · 09/08/2016 13:39

Great news about the placenta, Lillian! That must be such a relief.

I've got a scan at 35 weeks and I'm really curious about where the placenta is, too. It was originally anterior but I don't think it is anymore as the baby is back to back and punching/kicking right against my belly front.

Hoping that means the placenta has moved upwards or sideways rather than downwards, but midwife wasn't sure.

leoniethelioness · 09/08/2016 13:42

Lillian Wonderful news! I'm glad things are looking good for you.

We have chosen a family name for his middle name - John. We both have boring "J" middle names so thought he should too!

Lisa How many weeks are you now? I don't think you have too long to wait until your scan?

Bunch Still hoping no news is good news!

LisaTheSimpson · 09/08/2016 14:26

Leonie - I'm just over 32 weeks, so it's about 3 weeks away. Feels like forever, but I'm sure it will come up very quickly!
