Indi your worries are completely normal. I've had the odd freak out too which is very unlike me.
Can a physio do anything for your sciatica? Or hydrotherapy? Hugs for you, I've been in near constant pain throughout this pregnancy and it is not fun.
I've been reading up the NICE guidelines for labour and birth for the last hour- just getting myself prepared Grin
I'm utterly starving despite having eaten a banana and 2 slices of soreen and I have both DH and stinky dog snoring away in the bed beside me. Normally the dog isn't allowed on the bed at night (not since BFP) but I can't be arsed convincing him to get off and normally I'm the one keeping DH up snoring since heavily pregnant so I suppose it's fair.
I'm really tired I just can't get back to sleep.

39 weeks today eek!

PotatosMum · 06/08/2016 07:02

Bunch hope the exam goes well. Please share all the gory details Wink oh and your bump is incredible! I'm really jealous, mines all saggy and covered in stretch marks Confused i think if I don't know you were having a boy I would have guessed from the old wives tale that girls steal your beauty, you're looking far too good to be having a girl Wink

Miley sorry you're struggling with insomnia Sad hope you got a little more sleep.

Indi sorry you're having a wobble. I think it's fairly normal to think like that at your stage though and I totally understand. I've never been around babies before and don't particularly like them Blush I'm definitely not responsible enough to be a mum and actually feel really weird that I will be one but there's nothing we can do about it now, that ship has sailed and luckily most women come with an inbuilt mothering instinct.... Plus, our babies have never had another mum so they have no idea how good or bad at it we are Wink

So, 37 weeks today, Potato is officially a watermelon! Shock so nice not to be worrying about her staying put until we move.
My feet, hips and back are killing me after yesterday and I look (and I'm sure, smell) awful. I have no idea where any clean clothes are and we have no food in the house but I'm sat looking at a lovely blue sky and listening to birds chirping at each other at this point in the year they're probably repeatedly telling each other to sod off but it sounds pretty so I'm a happy bunny.

So much to do today, lots of cleaning and unpacking... I'm itching to get started but OH is out for the count!!!

(I think there may be some cows near by, either that or someone really should go to the drConfused)

Congrats on 39 weeks Bunch! And I each other what the others have said - you look amazing! You look very smooth and toned all over, which I'm very jealous of.

Also, you've now made me want soreen..... Might have some for breakfast.... Mmmm!

Indi - I've had lots of those panic moments! I wonder if we've done the right thing, and if we're going to regret it. I know everyone says you don't and it's wonderful, but it's hard to truly believe that until it happens to you.

Potato - happy watermelon baby and 37 weeks! Technically full term now! Your house sounds lovely and I'm so pleased for you finally being in. Hope the unpacking goes well.

My wc jab is hurting my arm like a bitch. Can't wait until it sorts itself out so I can sleep on that side again Envy

shelbTa · 06/08/2016 07:34

Morning

Usual 5am wake up call for me too, insomnia is a total bitch.

Congrats on getting in the house potato!

Bunch - you look fab.

X

Sodasoda · 06/08/2016 08:48

5am for me too. I did manage to get another hour eventually but the hunger got me up!

What a fab bump bunch!

Hope the unpacking goes well today potato.

Sorry you're feeling rubbish indi. I'm sure the pain doesn't help your wobbles.

I've got quite a lazy, pottering about day which I'm looking forward to.

BunchOfBobs · 06/08/2016 09:28

Ok I'm keeping you all informed with the gory details. 4 poo loo trips this morning - body clearing out? And I'm losing my muscus plug yaaaay! It doesn't mean things are imminent but I'm excited Grin

IndiX · 06/08/2016 09:28

Thanks ladies, I got another few hours of sleep so feel a bit better. I'm so so excited about Beanie arriving but atm I can't get my head around this wiggly thing in my belly being a human that I actually have to look after. I just feel like she's going to be in my belly forever. I know I'll be fine once she's here, just sometimes you read the horror stories about child birth, sleepless nights etc and you think 'oh shit what have I let myself in for'.

Congrats on 39 weeks bunch and congrats on 37 potato! You are going to have your babies so soon, very exciting!

IndiX · 06/08/2016 09:28

That's VERY exciting bunch!

shelbTa · 06/08/2016 09:42

Omg bunch!!!!!!!!

Newmrs22 · 06/08/2016 09:51

Omg Bunch how exciting.

Sorry for all the insomnia. Weirdly I slept from 11-8 without waking much. That NEVER happens. I didn't even need a wee!

Mileymoocow · 06/08/2016 09:55

Oh no bunch I hope sherlock is ok!! How exciting is this new poop symptom though! yours, not the dogs Good luck for your cervical exam!

indi I can never sleep in the spare room, either. I have to kick OH into the spare bed if he's overly tired or been drinking! Just to echo others, I often have mild panic attacks that we have created a little human we are entirely responsible for. I don't even really know how to look after babies!!

31 weeks today for me! So jealous of you guys being so close to meeting your bubs bunch and potato!! So excited for you both

ElleSarcasmo · 06/08/2016 10:01

Morning all!

Congratulations on the move Potato, you must be so excited!

Bunch sounds like things are happening, how exciting! Gorgeous bump too.

I think I'm still in denial about looking after the actual baby Indi! It just doesn't seem real.

I'm finally feeling this one moving around more (thanks anterior placenta) which is lovely Smile DH yet to feel him/her move though.

BunchOfBobs · 06/08/2016 10:57

Okay, so I'm stretched and swept. I'm already 1cm dilated eek! Not fully effaced yet. Apparently this can still take 2 weeks but for a first time mum I'm in a very good position and things were moving on their own. I've been told to eat lots, get lots of rest, take long walks and have sex Grin

I'm very excited.

He's fine now thanks Miley, he ate a pile of poo on a walk yesterday, disgusting boy and we think it's just that. He was up at 2 and 5 for loo trips but stinking the house out the rest of the time.

shelbTa · 06/08/2016 11:42

Bunch this is amazing! Just think all this way from the very first TTC thread!

Keep us updated when you can.

Any tightenings yet?

X

Mileymoocow · 06/08/2016 11:49

Ah bless him! They're mucky creatures, bunch - and they never learn. It's a lovely day today and I'm having to sit inside because he follows me everywhere at the moment and wouldn't leave my side to go and sit in the house where it's cool. Really need to put the sprinklers on to water the garden but he will just sit and cry to be out and playing in the water.

Brilliant that you're feeling more movement elle!! Grin

AudreyBradshaw · 06/08/2016 12:20

Can't believe we might actually have real babies before the end of this thread! How exciting! Fingers crossed bunch gorgeous bump pic too!

Glad move went smoothly potato excellent news!

Lovely neat bump miley

I haven't actually taken any bump pics for ages, and I've never shared one yet! Just trying to sort the new look credit note situation out! I need an outfit for my grandma's 80th next week which doesn't make me look huge! Confused

BunchOfBobs · 06/08/2016 13:05

Shelb I've had near constant BH since Tuesday which at times have got quite wincey but other than that I've been okay. Walking causes upper thigh ache and I've had back ache but that's nothing new.

Currently bouncing on my ball whilst DH cooks lunch. Just tried dtd but the poor man just can't get there, he's too concerned for my hip pain. Midwife even said to him "it's just the prostaglandins she needs, whatever way you can try get them in her" haha.

Long walk along the canal with the pooch later and some more pineapple. Come on Pip!!

How's the unpacking going Potato?

Co5mo · 06/08/2016 13:40

Excellent news Bunch. You'll have your little one in your arms in no time.

Indi I had a similar wobble last week. Totally natural. You'll be a great mum.

Hope you're enjoying your new garden Potato. Brilliant weather for your first weekend.

Audrey I've just bought a burgundy dress from New Look for a wedding at the end of the month. Plain but I can dress it up. Had to go up a dress size. My usual size felt a little restrictive.

In other news DH thinks I should be helping him cut the hedges. What part of I'm 7 months pregnant doesn't he get? I stupidly tried to dig up some potates yesterday. Only wanted enough out of the ground for dinner but now I have a sore back.

IndiX · 06/08/2016 13:50

Amazing news bunch, I'm so excited for you. I hope Pip gets a wriggle on and doesn't leave you waiting too long.

Audrey I personally like quite tight midi dresses, I feel like anything floaty makes me look like a sack of spuds. Also maxi dresses are always handy, I bought a nice multi-way maxi from Asos for my baby shower. You can change the straps to any style you.

Cosmo that made me laugh about he hedges. I found a chair on gumtree last week and DH said 'oh yeah well why don't you take my car and pick it up when I'm at work'.....so he wanted his 7 month pregnant wife to lift a CHAIR in to a Range Rover!? I had to laugh or I would've slapped him. Hope your back is ok, get your feet up when you can.

Has anyone see these beanbag chairs? I don't know whether to get one of these or a normal bouncer chair?

Thread #9 - TTC#1 grads thread - it's the final countdown
shelbTa · 06/08/2016 14:00

Hi indi - yes I've got a bean bag like that, all my friends rave about it. I may get a bouncer also though

X

BunchOfBobs · 06/08/2016 14:07

Forgot to say how the actual s&s felt. Quite like you'd imagine really, like someone had their finger in my cervix. Not too dissimilar to a smear but lasted a smudge longer. Not the most comfortable experience but I could talk through it.

Midwife felt Pips head through the waters Grin He's 4/5ths engaged and head right down on the cervix. Cervix is also 50% effaced. In now getting delightful fanny daggers.

Did you find an outfit Audrey?

I've seen them before Indi but wasn't keen on them, they looked to me like baby could roll off them easily, but I guess you only use them when they're not at the rolling stage.

AudreyBradshaw · 06/08/2016 14:16

That's my problem too indi I'm short and my bumo starts from my tits/ribcage and is a rectangle. So everything just hangs straight off and I look like a portly moomin! I was looking at that dress cosmo the one which comes in black too? That's my back up if I can get the customer services team to do an order for me via the phone on Monday.

bunch so exciting! Your poor hips though!

Just booked 3d/4d scan for Friday! I'm so excited! Fingers crossed baby behaves! I feel a bit bad because we don't have a nickname for it! I literally just call it 'baby' or 'it'. Dh was like "babe, you're going to have to stop calling the baby 'it' I keep thinking of Pennywise the clown staring out of your vagina at me and it's freaking me out!"

AudreyBradshaw · 06/08/2016 14:19

I've seen a lovely dress in m&s online bunch I'm thinking of doing a ring round to see if I can get it ordered into a store to try it on, have to go get some maternity bra's from m&s anyway so seems like a plan!

How's your ball bouncing going? Grin

LillianFullStop · 06/08/2016 15:09

Hi all - just catching up on thread loving the bump pics. Indi you look amazing im two weeks behind you but I'm looking like I'm two weeks ahead!

bunch so so excited for you! your bump is glorious without a single stretch mark!

potato congrats on the move glad to see a happy ending after all the drama they put you through!!! must be such a big weight off your shoulders!

28+6 and I feel huge now. have ordered a whole load of nappies, wipes, bottles, muslins, etc and the Snuzpod cot arrived today!!! DH assembling it today. will pick up vests and sleep suits next and will do a big wash of the lot ready for our new housemate Smile

Next on the list is car seat and baby carrier. Anyone tried the NCT Caboo? I'm leaving DH in charge of the car seat. Confusing part is we don't actually own a car though... we've never needed one in London but now thinking how to get the baby home from hospital! Is a pram in a black cab legal/safe? Or a car seat fitted in an uber/mini cab/zip car?

Co5mo · 06/08/2016 17:04

That's the one Audrey. Going to get my gold wedding shoes out (if they look OK with it) and accessorise with cream and gold.

Pram has arrived. DH couldn't wait to 'check it was ok' so many it's now built after I took it for a spin round the kitchen, it is sat in the front room. My DM would have kittens if she knew it was in the house.
