Glad you're both well, Bunch

Feefeefs · 04/08/2016 07:43

Glad all went well bunch

IndiX · 04/08/2016 08:07

Good news you're both well bunch, got to admit I woke up slightly excited at the thought of a baby announcement this morning Grin

IndiX · 04/08/2016 08:31

Forgot to post yesterday but here's my 30 week Bump pic. Definitely feeling rounder and bigger all over now!

Thread #9 - TTC#1 grads thread - it's the final countdown
Danni89 · 04/08/2016 09:08

Good to hear all is well bunch

Omg Indi! How fab do you look?! Still so toned, you'll have your figure back in no time #Jel

Co5mo · 04/08/2016 09:46

Well at least you know we'll all be cheering you on when you need it Bunch. If we can get this excited about a false alarm how are we going to be when the first little one makes their entrance?

Hmmm. Indi I'd love to swap my 30 week picture for yours. I feel huge now! Bump has grown considerably over the last few weeks (from being under and needing growth scans to being nearly at the other end of the scale).

Feefeefs · 04/08/2016 10:02

You look fab indi very jealous!!

Very grumpy this morning! Fuck having IBS and being pregnant! The diarrhoea was slightly better but I think baby has decided to wrap itself around my colon today and just squeeze squeeze squeeze! And the near constant pooping also gives you haemorrhoids so no let up there Sad doctor never rang me so sample must have been clear so that's one thing I suppose...

Newmrs22 · 04/08/2016 10:30

Wow indi you look great. Jealous!

Feefs that sounds awful. Hope you feel better.

Bunch how are you doing today?

Mileymoocow · 04/08/2016 12:24

indi you look amazing! So tanned and lovely, I'm very jealous.

Glad all is well bunch! I'm another who woke up feeling excited but it means the surprise is still to come Grin

feef that doesn't sound pleasant at all! At least sample was clear.

I have a hen do this weekend and am really dreading it. Bridesmaid dress fitting next Thursday and the bloody wedding is on Saturday. No idea how this dress is going to be altered to fit.

Ni4444 · 04/08/2016 12:59

Just popping in to say hi guys!

Bunch glad to hear you're OK. My friend had BH for a good two or three weeks before baby...I hope you don't have to wait around so long! Great you got to see the birthing centre though!

I agree, Indi you look fab. I wish I'd been able to be fit and sporty during this pregnancy, but I just do not feel like exercising!! I'm doing lots of walking and hope to start pregnancy yoga next week...anyone else done it and found it good??

17 +1 here. Had random vom session in the night...felt fine afterwards though so don't think it was related to morning sickness or anything...just something I ate?! Used it as an excuse to take the day off work to get extra sleep anyway!

Can anyone recommend a natural moisturising product? I splashed out on mama mio but I keep getting rashes from it so my skin is obviously gone really sensitive!

AudreyBradshaw · 04/08/2016 13:08

ni when my skins been sensitive I've found dream cream from lush has been good. I'm using cocoa butter oil/coconut oil (sparingly) every few days just to try and not get itchy.

IndiX · 04/08/2016 13:36

Aww thanks ladies, that's lovely of you all. I keep saying to DH 'belly's gonna get yaaa', I feel very round.

Had some news this morning that my grandad is in hospital due to him having sporadic faints for the last few months. They've now found its something to do with a main artery not sending enough blood to the brain, he's OK in himself but obviously a bit worried. He also has refused surgery on the artery so we don't know what other options he has. I'll know more when my mum goes to the hospital and can speak properly with the doctor.

Feef IBS is horrible, I have mild IBS and I'm more of a bloat/cramps sufferer but it's so uncomfortable. Good news that the sample was clear though.

Ni I'd recommend coconut oil ( I've said before on here I'm a massive fan) also I've been using the palmers coco butter stretch mark cream. That may be better on your skin? Hope you're feeling better after a day at home.

BunchOfBobs · 04/08/2016 14:30

Indi you look so amazing. Sorry to hear about your grandad.

Feefs sorry to hear the obs is playing up. Hope it settles soon.

Ni I'm another coconut oil recommender.

I'm much the same today as I was yesterday. Pip moving lots though at least. Still lots of BH and gut ache. Feeling very drained and can't be bothered, though I have managed to pin all my remaining sewing and finally finish two pairs of rompers I let made ages ago. I'm getting my ranitidine later today so hopefully that'll settle the gut pain down over the next few days. Midwife called to check on me and has requested a 39 week check on Saturday to check if things are progressing or I'm in this for the long haul. Going to have my first cervical exam eek!!

Potato how are things today?

Ni4444 · 04/08/2016 14:55

Fab. Thanks for the recommendations ladies!

Bunch your crafty productivity amazes me!! Hope the pain settles down. Cervical exam...does that mean internal? Yikes!! Let us know how it goes!!

Feeling absolutely fine now Indi! Heading to see my friend and her 4week old baby 😀

LisaTheSimpson · 04/08/2016 15:09

Indi, you look awesome! Particularly impressed with your tan (assuming it's a tan, if not your skin is naturally gorgeous). Sorry to hear about your Grandad. I hope it all works out ok.

Just got back from my another midwife appt (31 weeks), and all seems fine with the usual stuff. Measuring bang on for bump size, and midwife thinks baby is head down but back to back.

I know the back to back thing isn't good later on - are babies likely to turn over themselves?

LisaTheSimpson · 04/08/2016 15:10

Bunch, you are unbelievable. You've just had an almost false alarm, you're drained and achy, and yet you've spent the day sewing and making things. You are a hero woman. I am in awe.

Newmrs22 · 04/08/2016 15:51

Bunch very impressive. Hopefully you won't need a 39 week appointment because you'll have had him by then Grin

Lisa there are things you can do to help get baby in optimal position. There's a website called spinning babies that has exercises. My MIL had two babies that were back to back for labour and it was fine though. She didn't have any trouble

PotatosMum · 04/08/2016 16:18

So, finally as of 3pm (when I was waving goodbye to all my worldly possessions) we have exchanged... It could have been this mornings by but once again the stupid buyer was being slow!
We should be in our shiny new house by 1pm tomorrow, can't wait!!!!

Off up the hospital in a few minutes for my follow up. I'm sure it isn't preeclampsia but the midwives want to be sure.

Bunch sorry you're still really uncomfortable, hopefully you won't have long to wait Grin

Cosmo really annoying about the list blood. Hope the retake wasn't too bad.

Indi sorry about your grandad, hope you get some good news about him soon.

OMG you look amazing. At 30 weeks I already looked like I should be on some sort of reality TV show about morbidly obese people Hmm

Feef sorry you're suffering today Sad

Lisa hope baby turns round for you.

Danni89 · 04/08/2016 16:31

Yay congrats potato!!

Sorry to hear about your grandad indi

Ni I do pregnancy yoga... And I love it, good to get the hips and pelvic moving and practice breathing techniques

Well that's it for work... Officially on leave. It's mad, can't believe it's come round so quick! Time to rest my swollen feet Grin

IndiX · 04/08/2016 17:08

Yay potato thank god for that! So happy you'll actually be in your house tomorrow.
Your tv show comment made laugh, I feel like that myself by night time.

Danni enjoy your leave! Countdown is seriously on now.

Bunch I hope baby is here before the 39 week mark but I'm so glad you're both doing ok. Lots of rest for you!

Thanks Lisa! It's a natural tan but only because I came back from Spain a couple of weeks back, plus I think the bathroom gave me very flattering lighting.
I've also heard that you can do exercises to move the baby round. I'd head straight to google/YouTube

No news on my grandad yet, he's fine in himself and chatting away so I'm not too upset but it's still a big concern.
I've just got back from a pregnancy massage/facial aswell, it was lovely. I think I fell asleep and may have snoredBlush

BunchOfBobs · 04/08/2016 17:10

Aaah Potato that is the BEST news!!! I'm so so chuffed for you both.

I just waddled to the post office. It literally took an hour to go there and the Drs and back which would usually take 10 mins to walk. God I'm slow. Anyway, two kids were in the post office with me, I let them go in front as I had 5 parcels to send. DH was waiting outside with the dog and heard them say when leaving "omg did you see the size of that women's belly". It did make me laugh. If it was an adult I'd want to kill them though.

We're off to do a food shop now and I can't help but think it'll be my last one. That walk just killed me and I've officially given up driving as the discomfort it too much. BH are getting way to awful to drive through.

Lisa I had to do something else I think I would have just sat here feeling sorry for myself and getting teary. Tomorrow is to sew the remaining 5 harem pants and maybe cut out the rest of the rompers. I still have 4.5 embroidery pieces to do though.

Anyone heard of the eggplant Parmasean by Scalinis? It's a dish served in the states in a restaurant that swears people have their baby within 48 hours of eating it (if eaten on their due date). Anyhoo my hypno coach gave us the recipe and it's available online if anyone is interested. Looks yum!

LisaTheSimpson · 04/08/2016 17:56

Thanks New and Indi - I'll get googling on how to turn it around.

Danni - yay for mat leave! Hope you get some nice rest before the baby comes.

Potato - yay, finally! I'm so pleased for you, that must be such a relief. Hope it all goes well tomorrow!

mayago · 04/08/2016 18:58

An exciting 24 hours on this thread!

Bunch glad you and baby are okay, and I hope your discomfort eases. The rompers are so cute! Sounds like you've had a super productive day.

Indi you look absolutely fantastic! I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. Hopefully there will be another good option for treatment.

Feef hope it eases soon for you. Do you have any trigger foods, and have they changed since being pregnant?

Miley I'm sure the dress will be lovely. At least you're pregnant enough to look pregnant rather than plump Smile

Ni hope you're feeling better now. I've been using Palmers cocoa butter, and I'm not convinced it's doing much.

Lisa fingers crossed baby turns! That's great everything else is as expected. It must be a relief to be measuring bang on!

Potato at long last! Congratulations!! Hope the follow up at hospital went well.

Danni hooray for maternity leave!

Indi the massage/facial sounds amazing. I've been looking at a local spa I normally use, but they just ask you to go on your side to make a normal massage into a pregnancy one. I'm not sure if I should look elsewhere for somewhere that might be more comfortable - either on my front with cushions or seated? What has your experience been regarding positioning?

Pinklily1 · 04/08/2016 19:18

Firstly, woo hoo Potato! Finally Grin. So pleased it has happened for you. Hope the move tomorrow goes well and that the hospital visit does too.

Indi, you look amazing!! Congratulations on 30 weeks. Hope all is ok with your grandad Flowers

Bunch, glad all is ok. What are you now in terms of weeks - 38 and a bit?

Danni - yeah for starting mat leave! Have you got any plans for your time off before baby comes? I'm counting down now - finish a week on Tuesday.

How are you feeling now Feefs?

Lisa, glad the midwife appointment went well. I'm sure baby has plenty of time to turn still. Definitely consult Google.

What's the dress like Miley? Was it ordered before you knew you were pregnant? I need to get an outfit for a wedding which is taking place 1 day before I'm due Hmm. Hoping to find something on the Tiffany Rose website as they have nice stuff.

Feefeefs · 04/08/2016 20:13

Ni I use epiderm you can get it in boots it's a bit like aqueous cream but better but stinks!! I'm very rash-y at the moment (always worse when IBS is bad) so it's the only thing that works even bio oil is giving me a rash.

Hope your grandad is okay indi! I'm always more vowels active rather than anything else but get my fair share of cramps too!

Loved your picture on Instagram bunch.

StarFlowersyay potato on the exchange!!! Thanks for the sympathy.

Bunch eggplant parmigiana sounds excellent! Just what you need!!

Nah no trigger foods may all stress related. I think everywhere puts you on your side?

Still very grumpy pink!!!
