Awww Jesus F Christ!!!!! Have written a post three times and deleted it three ducking times! Miley I'm right there with you on the baby brain.
Now I can't get the whole thread to load so not ignoring anyone just responding to what I can see sorry if any nonsense comments.

Pink and Audrey totally agree you should pick you're own visitors and you get to decide, it is your baby at the end of the day. PIL live close by so my parents (dad and stepmum) will stay with us without upsetting anyone too much thankfully. As I'm due so close to Christmas I'm delighted as my parents love Christmas and always make it so special so it will be great to have them here to help (and do all the work).

I don understand the no padded bras thing? I don't have massive boobs but I hate being really nipple-y.

A bit opposite in my view miley but I would be tempted to view the house and home report as then you can find out what the "too good to be true" factor is and then you don't feel like you've missed out and can put it behind you.

Glad you're feeling happier soda.

That's lovely Dani.

Hope you feel better bunch!

Finally managed to ring Physio booked for three weeks time, was crippled today.

Newmrs22 · 03/08/2016 18:21

Pink I'm 38+1 now. I feel the same about knowing when labours started. Although a lot of people have said to me 'if you have to ask, it's definitely not labour' Confused

BunchOfBobs · 03/08/2016 18:36

Midwife is on her way out to me. Decided to call for advice as I'm not liking how I'm feeling. I was suitably huffing and puffing and sounding in pain on the phone that she wants to see me. Apparently I'm off to hospital regardless as baby has quietened down today. I think it's just due to such constant tightenings that I can't feel him as much. He is moving just not as lively. So we have a delightful evening of being strapped up to the CTG to look forward to. I've just done a painful waddle to the bathroom to have a spruce up of down below incase I get examined. I have cried with the discomfort. This better be something as it really doesn't bode well for me. I'm not in pain as such, but it's really fecking uncomfortable and I can't do anything without setting it off.

Danni89 · 03/08/2016 18:43

Omg bunch... Keep us updated!! Hope everything is ok and it's the start of something Smile

AudreyBradshaw · 03/08/2016 18:52

Ooh goodness me bunch it's all getting bit real now! Seems like a blink of an eye you got your bfp! Fingers crossed all is well and that this is the precursor to the beginning of the best adventure ever! 🎢🎂🎁🎊👍

Newmrs22 · 03/08/2016 19:23

Eek so exciting Bunch

IndiX · 03/08/2016 19:29

So exciting bunch I really hope this is the start of something! Is OH with you now?

Feefeefs · 03/08/2016 19:54

Starhope things go well bunch!!

Mileymoocow · 03/08/2016 19:56

Thinking of you, bunch! Hope midwife visit goes the way you want it to and OH is there with you now!!

IrregularCommentary · 03/08/2016 19:57

Good luck Bunch

PotatosMum · 03/08/2016 20:11

Miley sounds like you might be having BH mine told to be a bit crampy.

Danni yay for last day tomorrow.

Pink yay for engaged baby Smile

New blimey, another one engaged Shock

Bunch eek! That does sound suspiciously like early labour Shock keep us posted!!!

Well, I've had a interesting day. We still haven't exchanged as the contract hasn't arrived. Buyer was away but still wanted to go ahead with completion on Friday on the hope that the document arrived tomorrow or Friday. I told them the only way we would do that was if they either got another signed copy and sent it special delivery so it would definitely arrive tomorrow or agreed to pay our removal company cancellation fee if it didn't go ahead. Buyer drove all the way back, signed another contract and it's now been sent special delivery... If they had done that last Saturday life would have been much easier!

Anyway, I was obviously stressed out about it because my blood pressure was sky high at my midwife appointment so I ended up being sent to hospital with suspected preeclampsia Shock they did bloods, monitored my blood pressure and Potato who was nice and active and eventually sent me home but I have to go back tomorrow.
Midwife was really annoying kept saying things to me like, your body will never be the same, you can't expect to have thin anything after having children, babies wreck your body... Thanks for that, now fuck off please Hmm

Oh, and baby is low but not engaged Sad needs to get engaged in the next two weeks or section is back on the cards.

Go Bunch go! Hoping this is the start of something and the aches and pains all come to something!

LisaTheSimpson · 03/08/2016 20:14

Oh no, Potato! I'm glad everything is ok, and hope they're happy tomorrow as well. That must have been so scary.

Also, wtf with that midwife?? Angry What a horrible way to behave. I hope you said something to her or gave her some evils for it!

leoniethelioness · 03/08/2016 20:26

Good luck, Bunch

Any ideas where Shelb is? She's been quiet these last few days

Pinklily1 · 03/08/2016 20:26

Eeek Bunch! Hope you are ok and that this is the start of Pip's arrival Flowers. Lisa, your "go Bunch Go' comment made me laugh - I do feel like we are a little team of cheerleaders willing Bunch on Grin

Potato, glad they got it signed. Very frustrating but at least that bit is done. I can't believe your midwife though - those comments are so rude and unprofessional. How does she have a clue what lasting impact baby will have (if any) on your body - every woman is different. Grr. Hope all goes ok at the hospital tomorrow.

Fingers crossed baby drops and you can avoid a section. My midwife started off saying "oooh, hmmm, I thought baby was breech...". Sometimes I don't think they think before they speak!! Almost gave me a heart attack as I didn't know what was going to follow her "ooooh, hmmm"....!

Hopefully not long now New!

Hi to everyone else!

Pinklily1 · 03/08/2016 20:27

Leonie, i was thinking the same about Shelb. I hope she is ok.

Newmrs22 · 03/08/2016 20:29

potato good news on the house front then! Yay. Hope it all goes smoothly now.

That midwife sounds awful. I'm sure you don't have pre eclampsia, it was probably just stress from the last few days. There's plenty of time for baby to engage. Do you have a birth ball to sit on? Apparently that can help.

Feefeefs · 03/08/2016 20:51

Hopefully things get better potato!glad they're getting things signed

Co5mo · 03/08/2016 21:11

Adding my voice to the Bunch cheer squad (although don't ask me to jump around).

I can't imagine how relieved you'll be when you get the keys Potato.

More needles stuck in me today...whooping cough and they lost some of my bloods so have had to repeat them again. Stand in midwife today who tells me my midwife is leaving. Hopefully I won't get a string of different midwives now.

IrregularCommentary · 03/08/2016 21:34

That happened to me at my last appointment 3 weeks ago Co5mo. Apparently a bunch of bloods got stuck in a lift or something?!

Always love a surprise repeat blood letting...

Mileymoocow · 03/08/2016 21:36

co5mo how the hell do you lose blood samples?!

potato you did well not to headbutt her Hmm surely no one knows better than a midwife that saying those things to an actual pregnant woman is a big fucking no no!

I have a feeling we will have the first group baby soon and I'm so excited Grin

Co5mo · 03/08/2016 21:54

I'm sure that there's this black hole somewhere in the hospital that eats blood bottles and it will only be found by an archiologist a few thousand years from now when they're excavating the site. Might change my name to Pincushion.

LisaTheSimpson · 03/08/2016 22:13

Yep, also been there

Quite early on (I think after my booking in appt), I left work to find a voicemail on my phone from the midwife I saw saying 'please call urgently, it's about your blood'.

Obviously I thought the worst and almost crapped my knickers. Particularly as the message also said she was leaving at 6, so to call before them. I pick up the message at 5.55pm and I'm shitting myself that not only is it bad, but I might not be able to return the call now.

Of course I do get through to her, and she says the bloods she took at my booking in have gone missing, so I need to do some more...... I think I aged about ten years in five minutes.... Hmm

BunchOfBobs · 03/08/2016 22:50

Calm down allWink, no imminent arrival yet. On our way home at last. Pip obviously started up a dance party as soon as the monitors were on. I'm BHing all over the shop, midwife was very "well I can see you're getting lots" and +++ has been written on my chart. They said it could be a sign of things starting, but may not be. The worlds scariest 7ft something skinhead midwife lady came in to see me and eventually was lovely. It's likely that it's all self induced. I stopped my ranitidine after it ran out and since I've had cramps when eating and a really tender stomach.... I've been drinking raspberry leaf tea and since had mega BH and I can't stop going the loo since eating 4 dates a day. I feel somewhat silly but have been urged to not have a seconds hesitation to come in again. She did say she agrees with all I'm doing though. To be fair I didn't decide to go I was sent by the community midwife.

Managed to wangle a tour of the facilities whilst there too so I'm chuffed with that, the birthing room I hope to be in is lovely.

Potato wow what a day. Glad you're okay, hope tomorrow remains the same. So glad to hear the idiots have finally signed.

IrregularCommentary · 03/08/2016 22:59

Glad all is well Bunch, and nice work from pip getting you a sneaky tour of the facilities!
