I am already trained in paediatric first aid! But I do think it's worth looking at courses for anyone who isn't!

I have a list of like 7 midwives to ring if needed. I've not been assigned one as was a rush job appointment with whoevers free

After I've eaten is the worse time for the pain.

The bump is low, feel likes its between my legs when I sit down. She's laid all up my left side apparently

We're moving house as well. Last time I was pregnant we moved at only 3 months pregnant. I'm already 29 weeks gone do this time will be nearer 7/8 months pregnant. Just waiting on a completion date.

Jeff - could it be heartburn? If she's on the right side that could possibly explain the pains if she's on a nerve or something. If you feel like you need to see someone just call the midwives - they're really lovely and they wouldn't mind a call for some advice. I've phoned twice during this pregnancy - once I had advice over the phone and the second time they wanted to see me. I just call the community maternity unit and speak to whoevers on, worth a phone call if it'll ease your mind.

I'm going to look into some paeds first aid too - trained in adult CPR/choking etc but not kids.

Ended up back in hospital for monitoring again yesterday - looks like i have a graze on my cervix so at least I now know why there was some blood. No danger or risk to baby though so that's good.

Managed to get the nursery almost finished today - had to as we don't have many free weekends before I finish for Mat leave and I know I won't want to do it by the time I reach 36 weeks!

Growth scan on Thursday this week which will be exciting - the little man will have grown so much in the 8 weeks since my last one!

That's good news Northern and good to put your mind at rest.

Tallblue the breathlessness really doesn't help does it? I get a stitch on my lower right side too. Also it sounds organised but I had one room that needed a really good clear out and went through a tidying phase where it got mostly done and packed. Now feeling too sore and huge to tackle the rest of the house but I must do it because we aren't having packers, just movers. I'm paranoid about my stuff being broken in the move and I know I'll be worse if i don't pack it myself! On the plus side dh and I tackled the overgrown bushes in the garden today in the nice weather so at least that's one more job off the list before moving.

I'm full of a cold and it's horrid, can't breathe lay down

Oh no! A cold would just be unbearable at the mo!

It's hotting up too this week which is never fun! Feel like all I do is complain it's too warm, but it's even harder to sleep aaargh!

Normally if I had a cold I'd just stock up on beechams and the like! But no can do while pregnant. So draining. Plus have a poorly three year old to contend with!

what am I meant to do with this heat?! I'm sat in a black thin huge playsuit and vest currently but even naked I'd still be boiling

Same here - I'm in the coolest room in the house in a maxi dress and I'm boiling 😫

I feel so pregnant it is ridiculous, yesterday I was unable to paint my toenails I am only 29 weeks I went to 42 weeks last time without discomfort like that, I think he is lying a lot lower than I did with DS. I am going to be struggling by the end......and how I am supposed to trim "down there" I have no clue.

So moving day tomorrow after a weekend of back and forth to new house not looking forward to the 30 degree plus temperatures we are being told to look forward to. That will be rough. Am sick of the whole process already and flying to Scotland for a wedding Friday so away all weekend feel like will be surrounded by boxes FOREVER but then I expect a lot is being chucked in the double garage tomorrow and will stay there for some time......out of sight out of mind!!

Im not feeling the heat today at work and the office manager warned me it was like a cooker in here and the AC wasn't working but it has been surprisingly fine so far.

Feels like she's tapping the inside of my stomach, what is that feeling? A few tiny yet uncomfortable taps one after the other.

Figgygal I get the whole trimming thing, 25+3 and I can't even see my foof/[insert your own word choice] anymore! Scotland is muggy today, extremely muggy and horrid although we're to get thunder my Wednesday so by Friday it'll hopefully be clear air and no more sweaty mess.

No I've felt movement for last couple of weeks. Usually huge kicks and starjumps

This is new and weird, like she's knocking on a door 😂

I have no idea what half the weird movements I feel are!

I really wish I could take some decent bloody cold stuff!

Jeff maybe she's had enough and she's figuring out an escape route haha!! Hiccups?? I haven't experienced that yet but my friends wee one used to always get them - I remember her saying it was like a rhythmic...bumpy feeling.

Fresh can you use some nasal sprays and paracetamol? it's rotten that there's bugger all you can use :(

My nasal spray makes me sneeze, I think it comes straight back out TBH....

Bleurgh! They're awful things at the best of times, taste disgusting!

Fresh* sorry to hear you have a cold. I'm just recovering from one now, it's hanging around and taking it's time though. Definitely didn't help that DS had a chest infection, so wasn't sleeping. Being ill, dealing with an ill toddler and being pregnant all at the same time is really hard!

I'm managing to keep the foof reasonably well trimmed, though it is taking some fairly extreme contortions!

I'm also struggling in the heat - luckily working at home today, but I'm dreading tomorrow as my office is sweltering!

This heat is unbearable, especially at night!

My little one has always been a wriggler but in the last couple of days I've noticed that it does the odd shake/tremble, which is different to the usual movements I've been feeling. Will speak to the midwife about it next week when I see her, as any movement is good obviously, but don't want to worry. Has anyone else had this?

Arghhhhhhhhhh!!! I have no idea where this little one is lying but fuck me it's painful

Jeff I get those taps too, especially when I lie on my left side. It's like he's tapping the bed through the side of my stomach. I always wonder if it's cause he's wondering why he's suddenly so squashed up against the side!

Sorry to hear of everyone's illnesses Must be extra awful in this heat.

How is everyone keeping cool today. It's 9:30 am and I'm sweating! Not a happy lady.
