Another one here with no BH either at 32w!

Northernlight22 · 22/08/2016 07:55

Don't think I've had any yet - nearly 33 weeks now

positivity123 · 22/08/2016 09:17

I've had a few BH, tends to be after I've eaten. Just feel a bit of a tightening but they aren't strong.
Had a great day yesterday picking up baby stuff from friends and family. We collected the pushchair that we got on Gumtree and it's brilliant! I was worried we had paid 250 quid on a load of rovks in an uppababy box! We are getting some new carpets today then we can start to build the nursery. I'm getting this to add some colour.

I'm so excited about having the baby now, it feels close but also so far away!
I'm starting to get a lot more tired and I feel a bit ill today so I'm working from home and I'm taking it easy.
It was good to hear about everyone's views on breastfeeding, it seems like there is a lot of fear out there so I hope we can support each other

obsessedlex · 22/08/2016 11:15

I've had some really strong BH this time round - but I don't remember many with my first - maybe they are more prominent in subsequent pregnancies? Either way, I'm sure its nothing to worry about ladies.
I haven't packed my hospital bag yet - think I better get a move on, I just can't remember what I used and what I didn't and was a waste of time - I'm realising I can't remember much about labour last time at all?? or maybe it was so horrific I have blocked it out! Hmm
Hope you all have a good day! xx
Juliette I've sent you a PM (I think) about facebook.

thistlescot · 22/08/2016 11:53

Thanks ladies, I had a check on the growth chart and can see an estimated weight from when they did growth scan at 29 weeks. Can't believe I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow it is going by so fast!!!

thistlescot · 22/08/2016 12:01

Juliette I've sent you pm about fb also, tried to send screenshot but couldn't!

I haven't had any BH (I don't think anyway)

April241 · 22/08/2016 13:28

I don't know if I've had BH or not, I don't think I have but sometimes if we're out and about ill get some tightening and I have to really slow down or stop. I have no idea what it is.

30+3 today and feeling rough! Started Spatone this morning and also started using myfitnesspal again to keep a log of what I'm eating and iron levels. Have a docs appt at 3:20, asking for ranititide - I hope he's nice!

Belly button is now very much cats bum hole shaped. Beautiful!

Kariana · 22/08/2016 15:51

Went to the midwife today and the surprising news was baby was head down. Must have happened overnight as he has definitely been traverse and very active over the last few days. About an hour after I got back there was a flurry of movement and he's back traverse again. It's like he knew where the midwife wanted him to be! I don't blame him for wanting a comfy lie down instead of spending weeks head down though.

I did mention to the midwife the fact that he had only just got into the head down position and she said it's no problem as he is still so small at this stage that they wouldn't even be thinking about his final birth position yet.

Good news about the pram positivity! I'm also feeling tired and I've been very grumpy and weepy all weekend. My poor dh has suffered Sad Iron levels are apparently fine though so can't blame that. In partial defence of myself I did have a horrible headache yesterday - my first in months (pre pregnancy I got them quite often). Sadly it didn't go away overnight so I had to take codeine this morning which shifted it, I can feel it threatening to return though!

Hope you get your medicine April. Heartburn is awful!

clank2 · 22/08/2016 16:06

Hmm. Headache and fogginess and v.swollen legs and feet. Bother midwife or not?

HobnobDunker · 22/08/2016 16:20

Definitely speak to a midwife clank, they won't think you're bothering them. Let us know how you get on

April241 · 22/08/2016 16:42

Aww Clank defo speak with mw, hope all is okay.

Seen doctor who prescribed omeprazole, also told him I've stopped the iron tablets and replaced it with Spatone and diet changes so he asked me to come in for bloods on Friday morning. Going to eat all of the spinach and hope it works!

Kariana hope there's no more headaches, they're dreadful!

Figgygal · 22/08/2016 17:16

Think I'm in nesting mode today every surface has been cleaned today washing done hoovered have even done cleaning cycles on both dishwasher and washing machine and begrudged eating lunch as it would just create more washing up.

God maternity leave is going to be weird 9 days to go

positivity123 · 22/08/2016 19:22

Figgy can you pop round to mine and nest here? I'm knackered and can't be bothered to tidy up at all. Kariana I'm also a bit weepy and I just feel so heavy!
Clank give the MW a call- it can't hurt

Afreshstartplease · 22/08/2016 19:50

Curious to know if the other ladies on baby 4 or more are experiencing strong bh?

Clank did you get checked out?

I feel like mentally I want to nest, but physically my body just is not up to it

ShakespeareanQuotations · 22/08/2016 20:29

Yes, I'm experiencing BH and this is not my first pregnancy.

When I went for my 28wk appointment the midwife had to wait for a minute before feeling baby's position as a BH had just started. I wouldn't have known if she hadn't told me.

I do feel them in the evening if I've had a particularly busy day.

clank2 · 22/08/2016 21:49

Legs and feet calmed down a lot so didnt bother. Everything is just making me so panicky at the moment! I reckon you are lucky not getting BH....mine squeeze all the air out of my lungs and make my brain feel funny!

Afreshstartplease · 22/08/2016 21:59

How about the headache and foggyness?

My bh almost hurt and make me feel like I could piss myself ....

April241 · 22/08/2016 22:14

Is anyone getting extremely sore boobs and sensitive nipples again? Mine stopped being sore about 22wks but they've started to get really tender the last day or two

Kariana · 23/08/2016 07:09

Positivity I know exactly what you mean about feeling heavy. I feel like a giant whale dragging myself around, especially when I get up off a chair or out of bed. I must look ridiculous!

April my boobs are ok now I got rid of the weird lump but they do seem to have grown again in the last couple of weeks. I'm waiting for the tenderness to kick in again!

Afreshstartplease · 23/08/2016 07:15

My boob's are okay but the fanny daggers are taking the piss !

31+6

LisaTheSimpson · 23/08/2016 07:18

Kariana, yes! Harpooned whale over here. Sometimes I think I'm not that big, but then the big debacle of getting up from the sofa or moving around reminds me how manatee-like I am..... pregnancy is so lovely....

HobnobDunker · 23/08/2016 08:14

My boobs have been really itchy rather than tender! I look forward to getting home and giving them a good scratch 😂

Insomnia has started to kick in now and it's rare I sleep through. I've been lucky so far in sleeping really well up until the past couple of weeks.

ChatterNatterer · 23/08/2016 10:21

I just have worsening PGP ;( No BH here either - and have a scan on Thursday to check growth and position - please be head down baby!!

Afreshstartplease · 23/08/2016 10:45

Spd/pgp is a bastard.

I've reached the point I don't leave the house unless I really have to. Sleeping is horrible. My body just hurts.

Hobnob I had that phase too, now it's my tummy which is more publicly acceptable thankfully. Sadly it's particularly underneath my bump where I have developed hideous stretch marks in the last three weeks.

Had a strange rib pain last night that stopped me from breathing in deeply or moving my arm into certain positions. It was awful and flared up every time I rolled onto my right side (odd because the pain was actually on the left). Very uncomfortable night!
