Haven't called them yet to be honest - no discharge today so I'm wondering if it's just one of those things.

Good luck in your new home newmum Flowers

obsessedlex · 15/08/2016 11:50

Thanks positivity lots of due date twins for me but boo hoo hoo Confused I can't believe I'm the grandma!!!
My funny mild contractions seem to have eased I had a day in bed on Friday and that sorted it I think - a def message to self to take it easy!!
Those of you moving house - take note - please be careful!! My spd is horrendous today feels like someone is sticking nails in my pubis symphysis!! Arrgggghhhhh Fanny daggers!!
This seems to be dragging now for me - I keep under quoting how many weeks left when people ask as I feel embarrassed about how huge I am and wishing it would just hurry up!! 31+5 today!
Come on October hurry hurry hurry up!!

clank2 · 15/08/2016 12:25

Hi April241...just a word of warning on omeprazole, my gp prescribed them to me. I was taking them, they arent perfect though by any means and dont totally get rid of heartburn, but just so you know as my gp did not make me aware of this....I have been diagnosed with extremely low levels of B12 which has effectively rendered me useless this pregnancy and so so ill. When I checked out possible reasons for it, omeprazole is one of them...it prevents b12 from being absorbed, and b12 is incredibly important!

Tallblue · 15/08/2016 12:26

Thanks positivity for the register!

Yes obsessed I had a flare up of SPD after moving house too. I wasn't even doing much lifting but just a lot of walking in and out and up/down stairs. Took a few days to recover.

I'm doing the under-quoting thing too but its because I'm just impatient and wishing the time away. I may regret this when baby is actually here and I'm chronically sleep deprived. Then I may wish it was safely back inside Smile

HobnobDunker · 15/08/2016 12:28

April I take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening as per my prescription. The GP started me off with Gaviscon but it wasn't cutting it and I only had to bend down to pick something up and I've have acid in my mouth- not pleasant!

Thanks for the register Positivity!

ChatterNatterer · 15/08/2016 13:20

Aw, great register positivity :)

clank2 · 15/08/2016 13:24

Oh, and positivity

I did put myself on the register long time ago, must have dropped off it somehow.

April241 · 15/08/2016 14:25

clank oh dear! I'm going to give the gaviscon tablets a try this week and hopefully they'll help, if not I'll ask the GP for ranitidine.

hobnob yep that's how mines is starting to go :( awful!

LillianFullStop · 15/08/2016 14:41

Good stuff.
Just been to the midwife and the baby is breech which explains why my ribs have been so sore. Lots of time on all 4s for me

Kariana · 15/08/2016 22:08

Thanks for doing the register Positivity and to everyone who has updated it, lovely to see it set out like that. It's nice to see so many the same age as me on their first as well Smile

LisaTheSimpson · 15/08/2016 22:28

The spread of ages is really interesting actually. It's lovely to see everyone doing their own different thing at different times (and it's not exactly comparable because not everyone's on their first child).

I think I'm actually surprised the range isn't bigger. Looks like it goes from 23 to 39. I actually would have expected it to go both younger and older. (No idea why).

Northernlight22 · 15/08/2016 22:49

Looks like the 12th is a busy day haha - bet none of our little ones arrive on due date!

Afreshstartplease · 16/08/2016 07:25

I am pretty surprised to be one of the youngest at 28 TBH ..... I feel ancient this time around! Nice to see a few people on DC4+ though!

30+6 today and getting measured by mw to see if my bump is still massive! Above 95th line three weeks ago

OP posts:
Northernlight22 · 16/08/2016 10:25

Work are asking me what I want for the baby as a present when I go on Mat leave - any ideas?!? I've bought most of the essentials.

Northernlight22 · 16/08/2016 10:26

Fresh - my bumps over the line (has been on both visits) but growth scans are on the middle line so I'm sceptical of those bump measurements!

Afreshstartplease · 16/08/2016 10:38

That interesting northern however my last two babies were born on the 91st and 95th percentile so I can't help feel it might be accurate!

OP posts:
Afreshstartplease · 16/08/2016 10:39

Do they keep doing growth scans even if scans show baby isn't overly large then?

OP posts:
positivity123 · 16/08/2016 11:03

My measurement yesterday was now at the 90% mark where as it was 10% before so I don't trust these at all.
Northern that is lovely they are getting you a gift how about a nice dressing gown from the White Company? My friend got me one for my birthday and I love it? Or get some lovely body lotion. Get something for you that you wouldn't normally treat yourself to
