So I am 32 weeks now, does anybody else feel like the baby is about to fall out. The weight and pressure is unbelievable, have also got bad lower back pain today and struggling to walk. ugh, cant believe i might have 8 - 10 weeks more of this. It feels so hard to believe.

Afreshstartplease · 14/08/2016 19:12

I'm with you clank

30+4 and bottom of bump is so heavy and achey

Northernlight22 · 14/08/2016 20:00

Yep! 31+4 and I've been walking round all weekend so right not I feel like crap!

clank2 · 14/08/2016 20:14

Oh well, im not alone I suppose! Im sat trying to do some work (that Ive been putting off for ages and now HAS to be done), and when I stand up it literally feels like someone is pulling down on the baby! I don't remember it being this intense with my other children!

Afreshstartplease · 14/08/2016 20:16

Battered insides clank

Hi, sorry not been on in a while. Was away at the seaside for a week ( booked it before I found out) and not much wifi access there.
32+2 now and yes Clank I'm with you on that, my bump is hard nearly all the time and gets really sore with all the pushing, noticed that the baby is breech again and the head is always pushing in the same spot it feels really sore, plus horrendous heartburn all day and iron tablets causing even more discomfort can't even sit properly anymore. Could cry at the thought of another 10 weeks of this!
Tried a forward-leaning inversion this morning and did feel baby shift a bit but now have really bad backache and head is back where it was before.
Have started sorting out some of the clothes but don't have anything in 0-3 as my cousin's daughter has promised me two bags of barely worn stuff that her MIL brought, she had a little girl last January. I am getting a bit worried that she might forget about it but daren't buy anything just in case.

clank2 · 14/08/2016 20:19

Yep, Im being kicked in the ribs, squirmed in the groin and dug in my hip all at the same time! Hes doing upside down star jumps in there I think!

Afreshstartplease · 14/08/2016 20:35

I'm sure I've had a head stuck out of my left side most of the day, baby is usually head down!

Northernlight22 · 14/08/2016 20:51

I've had mucus discharge today (grim) so I'm hoping that it's not the start of things happening! Was clear so from looking online I don't think it's mucus plug. Anyone else or is this just me?!

clank2 · 14/08/2016 21:14

I think as long as its clear it should be fine and is probably expected at this stage. Mucus plug is more like snot...lurvely....

I had fresh blood last night, the night before and the night before, but the tiniest most insignificant amount that I was actually trying to find if I had cut myself or something. I don't think its anything and fairly sure the midwives will say the same, just a bit weird. God damn it, pregnancy is so worrying! Its my 4th and Im still worried about everything!

Northernlight22 · 14/08/2016 21:21

I had that clank, ended up getting it checked out and was nothing.

Have had a lot more mucus tonight, and it is a bit snot like - think might give Midwife a call in the morning.

Afreshstartplease · 14/08/2016 21:22

I've had much more discharge than usual but no blood or anything

I kind of have a feeling I may go about 36/37 weeks this time but no idea why

April241 · 14/08/2016 22:23

Called the midwife today as my heartburn has been horrendous since starting the iron tablets and I have a really upset tum and cramps, said I'd been taking rennie but no difference and I'm struggling to eat now.

She's recommended reducing to two tablets a day, see how it goes and if nothing go to GP for different iron and something like omeprazole. She then said not to use rennie as they're not good in pregnancy due to high salt content.

Wahh!!!! I've been using them for months as well as it says on the packet they're fine in pregnancy and I spoke to a pharmacist about them >

Afreshstartplease · 14/08/2016 22:25

OMG I exist on Rennie's

Hello all,

Just checking in after an extended silence. We moved house this weekend!

I didnt know if we would make it to this point but im pleased to say i send you this from the sofa with the telly on via the wifi! Its been a hard slog and and i thought "whyy are we doing this, now?" on more than one ocassion but im pleased to report the effort has been entirely worth it. Weve got extra space for baby and a lovely big garden for him to run around in outside! Whats more OH has been a proper gem all weekend and we are both feeling very warm and fuzzy inside about our new life here.

Nursery currently looks like a jumble sale (its become the room for all of the unpacked rubbish) but im off work now so can slowly plod through it.

I hope you are all well. Cant believe how close October is now! Smile

April241 · 14/08/2016 22:49

fresh I know I eat them like sweets!!! :(

newmum happy new home!!

ChatterNatterer · 15/08/2016 07:34

Try the gaviscon tablets - they're as good if not better than renee for me :)

My PGP/SPD is def getting worse - woken up today feeling like I have been kicked in the foof and my right hip is killing, I might have to wfh today - don't think I can tackle the train and walk to work Sad 32 + 2 today!

ChatterNatterer · 15/08/2016 07:35

newmum Glad move went well Flowers

Northern def give them a call and hope all is well Smile

Northernlight22 · 15/08/2016 07:45

Gaviscon tablets all the way here!

HobnobDunker · 15/08/2016 09:05

For those struggling with heartburn I can report that the ranitidine the GP put me on has effectively stopped it. Before that I was drinking a 500ml bottle of gaviscon in around 5 days (free on prescription if anyone is starting to spend serious money on it like I was Grin)

April241 · 15/08/2016 09:35

Will definitely get some gaviscone tablets today and call for a GP appt for ranititide. It's so bad I can't eat somedays then it's worse cos I have an empty stomach!
hobnob do you take them like a prescription or just as and when you need it?

Kariana · 15/08/2016 10:19

Fresh that's very frustrating! I think I'd try to put my foot down and tell him to get used to it - he obviously liked it before!

Newmum that's so lovely and gives me hope for our house move next week. I keep thinking the new house won't feel like home as it's not been well loved by the previous tenants if that makes sense so it's got some weird issues like chipped sinks (even though the bathroom suites are nearly brand new). Plus our house now has character which a (fairly) new build doesn't have. I am looking forward to more space though and a nice garden so hopefully we can make it feel like home.

April gaviscone is miles better than Rennie. I find those useless, whereas gaviscone are amazing. I get the strawberry flavoured tablets, which I think taste better than the others and try to suck them instead of chewing - it's instant relief and I don't know what I'd do without them!

I've also been getting loads of discharge almost the entire pregnancy, which is horrible Sad. Since it's not come on suddenly though I'm guessing it's normal for me and not the plug or anything. I hope everything is ok northern, did you speak to the midwife?

Newmum90 · 15/08/2016 11:26

Aww i love the register :) thanks positivity.

Kariana- i wpnt lie it was very stressful at points so be prepared for a bumpy ride but worth it in the end. I had lots of weird worries like that too but im so glad we have gone for it now despite the fact that everything is still fairly everywhere. New home for a new chapter!
