Bobcat- great tip!! I ordered one this morning before they added 'cover', but now I'm wondering if I'll get a £45 pillowcase!!

bobcat85 · 07/08/2016 19:17

I've checked my confirmation and order tracking and it definitely says pod, no mention of cover.
I've emailed them so will let you know what they say.
Order can be cancelled though which is handy.

latinata · 07/08/2016 19:19

Mine also says pod, hoping it's bargain of the year!!

latinata · 07/08/2016 19:20

Well, I say bargain, it's still a £45 pillow!!!

corinne65 · 07/08/2016 19:35

That's odd, because your link takes me to this:

www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00K2S5JPQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_46GPxb9J21DRZ?tag=mumsnetforum-21

Which definitely says it's the cover. Never mind - sorry to alarm anyone . . .

latinata · 07/08/2016 19:42

I think it is now the cover only, bit definitely wasn't before... so hopefully they will honour it!

Corinne enjoy your NCT classes. We've just finished our Argentine course, the highlight of which was a girl asking if she could smoke marijuana whilst breastfeeding because giving up whilst pregnant had been a real challenge. Afraid I didn't find too many soul mates there...Grin

bobcat85 · 07/08/2016 19:44

Yeah, the link takes you to the cover bit now but earlier it said pod. They must have made a mistake but hopefully they will honour it.

coppergrey · 07/08/2016 19:56

Looking at that Amazon listing now, it's very confusing... the title says cover, the description says pod and the reviews are for a mixture of the pod and the cover! Pricing seems in-line with the cover (which is £45 elsewhere), and then from the Q&A section:

Question: Is this the actual pod or just the cover?
Answer: Just the cover. You can't tumble dry them so probably worth getting if you buy the sleepy head.

Question: Is this the actual pod or just the cover?
Answer: It is the pod, my little girl loved it, would highly recommend it

??!!!

coppergrey · 07/08/2016 19:58

Sorry, just saw all the updates! My confirmation says pod too, wonder if they'll honour it? I'm gonna email too, see what they say!

needanewjob · 07/08/2016 20:56

Hoping to speak to my gp tomorrow about my dodgy iron test result...strongly suspect I'll be told to go on supplements. I was talking to another mum this weekend though who said she was diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency in her pregnancy and now has 12 weekly jabs....it's worth reading up on the symptoms of deficiency as actually a lot of what we all complain about breathlessness, tiredness, pins and needles...can be signs of a deficiency.

Just thought I'd let you all know in case it helps anyone...I'm certainly going to ask my doctor about it tomorrow

helenatroy · 07/08/2016 20:59

I had a lack of iron for a while and I started eating Chinese red dates. I had them in everything. Chopped up on salads, whizzed up and added to stews and savoury dishes.

needanewjob · 07/08/2016 21:00

Ooh thanks Helena I'll take a look at them after my appointment tomorrow

coppergrey · 07/08/2016 21:15

My friend had an iron deficiency in her pregnancy - she got to the point of actually fainting a few times before they tested her iron levels and realised that was the problem. So definitely a good idea to get checked if you're having the symptoms!

bobcat85 · 08/08/2016 07:12

Got a reply from Amazon:
I have checked your Order No and can confirm that you have ordered the Sleepyhead pod not just the cover.

needanewjob · 08/08/2016 08:11

Oh goodness copper! I hope my doctor calls me today then!

CocklesandMussels · 08/08/2016 08:15

Shame I missed out on the bargain pods before they realised!
I've just ordered car seats, my sister is looking after them until we move. Definitely starting to feel a bit more real now.
I hope all your babies are wriggling like mad things now and not causing any more worry. I have to have a sit down session with mine if I've had a busy day because I stop noticing the movement. Twin 1 also has an anterior placenta and is sitting right in my pelvis so I don't get any surface kicks from that one, just (painful) internal wriggling and kicks in the cervix. Nice.

coppergrey · 08/08/2016 08:50

That's great, bobcat - they just sent me a standard reply saying the tech team are looking into it and will get back to me within 4 days! So that's weird. But will keep you updated!

Sorry to panic you, need - sure it's nothing like that for you! What I should've clarified is that iron deficiency can get really horrible if left untreated, so certainly worth checking if you suspect. Hope you get the all-clear or sorted with tablets/advice! Smile

tiredmumrighthere · 08/08/2016 11:21

Hi everyone not been on for a few days and just caught up, nice to read that there's fellow peach craving lovers like myself lol I'm currently munching on one now Wink

26 weeks today and feeling really really pregnant and big today! Bump has popped right out and my hips and bum is so wide it's like it's double in size this last week Shock Dp even made the comment of saying my body looked funny from the side lol said I look like a duck Grin I did laugh as that's exactly what I resemble!

Dp and I had a date day yesterday (Pizza Hut and suicide squad)which was really nice, first time We've been out alone in months it was really relaxing, but two hrs sitting in the same position watching the film made my back kill, plus I was busting for a wee throughout but didn't want to walk down the flight of steps and risk falling! (Never leave a man to book you seats) he had me right on the top row Hmm

Hope you's are all well and had a great weekend x

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 08/08/2016 14:54

Hi all. Just back from a week away and trying to catch up! Sciatica has really hit and moving is incredibly painful. Got my crutches out. With dd it only lasted a couple of weeks so jumping for the same again.

latinata · 08/08/2016 15:00

Does everyone have a linea negra? I'm 27 weeks today and no sign! Feeling kinda left out!!

helenatroy · 08/08/2016 15:07

I don't have one but have Celtic skin. Think they are more pronounced on darker skinned women.

CakeAndChocolate · 08/08/2016 15:43

I don't have one (yet!)

LittleGreyCatwithapinkcollar · 08/08/2016 15:48

I don't have one and didn't get one kart time either!

Spottyladybird · 08/08/2016 15:56

I'm Scottish and have very Celtic skin and had a dark linea negra last time. This time it's very faint at the moment and only on the top half.

corinne65 · 08/08/2016 16:14

Nope - I haven't got one yet. And I've still got an innie. Boobs don't seem to have grown much over the past few weeks - but am bracing myself for the great inflation!!
