Spotty - I think my Easywalker Mosey fulfils your list - I bought mine second hand (actually pretty much new) on eBay. There was very recently one on baby sold as unused by a pram shop but missing its packaging for £300 (which is less than half price). I'm impressed by the build quality and also the fact that the wheels have proper bearings & will do pavements as well as light off road. See what you think - it gets good reviews.

Spottyladybird · 25/07/2016 10:04

I'm not anti second hand but would rather have a new pram. Don't want to pay above £600 though.

JadeT2 · 25/07/2016 10:08

So I went to my GP on Friday about work and she reference straight to hospital as I had chest pain and apparently they can't risk sending anyone home as it's the symptom of pulmonary embolism. So I spent all day Friday waiting for tests and now I'm back waiting again for a CT scan, which they've told me has a negligible risk to the baby, but still not feeling too great about it!

FuzzyOwl · 25/07/2016 11:03

Spotty have you looked at the Uppababy Vista pram?

Thinking of you today Jade and hope all goes well.

Jade - please let us know how you get on?

Thurlow · 25/07/2016 11:42

Ooof, this baby is kicking so much more than DD did. She was more of a mover, just wriggling about, but this one is kicking like nobody's business.

DP is pleased as he hopes it means this one might be good at football - DD has been going for two and a half years now and, bless her, she's still as rubbish as the day she started Grin

Fedupithink · 25/07/2016 12:59

Anyone who struggled with the mamas and papas site yesterday I've just called and placed my order and after explaining they honoured the deal for me plus let me use my giftcard. One Snuzpod on its way!

It's the first big thing we have actually ordered so I'm very excited for its arrival.

Jade hope you are ok, don't worry about the CT scan, the best thing for the baby is making sure you are ok.

Bollyroo · 25/07/2016 13:19

Jade, hope everything's ok and the chest pain has gone now. What a crappy way to spend the weekend.

I'm quite pleased with myself. DH came to meet me in the city and we just walked home together from work. 8km/5miles and hilly! Wasn't sure how my back would cope but feeling pretty good now. Will see if I can move in the morning..!

Slumberparty · 25/07/2016 13:41

A friend of mine in Oz has been badgering me for a pic of me and my bump so I sent one just now. She replied "fat fat fat fat fatty"!
I know she thinks she's being funny and that I won't take offense... But seeing as I feel like a fat fatty at the moment I'm a little annoyed! I'm a bit over-sensitive atm!

Stripykitten · 25/07/2016 13:47

Jade, hope you're feeling better.

I didn't make it to work this morning. Nothing major, I was just exhausted and feeling a bit unwell, got a nasty headache. I took the train to Euston this morning, it still felt super warm and I started feeling lightheaded and a bit nauseous so I turned around, came back home and called in sick. Normally, I would have dragged myself in but not now with my little girl on board. Luckily, my managers are being fairly understanding.

Sometimes I do feel like I'm being too much of a wuss or a lousy employee but better safe than sorry, right?

bobcat85 · 25/07/2016 14:02

I would have done the same Stripykitten. I was ill with a migraine last week. Took Monday off ill, went in Tuesday morning but felt terrible so went home in the afternoon then stayed home Wednesday. Normally I'd stick it out but was exhausted from not sleeping as well. It's the most time I've had off sick in years.

I've got 5 weeks left at work and they still haven't found my maternity cover. Really have no idea who I'll be handing over all my projects to.

Hope all goes well for you Jade, let us know how you get on.

CocklesandMussels · 25/07/2016 14:05

Jade I hope all your tests have come back clear.
Spotty I think some colours of the uppababy are on sale at the moment, my friend has just bought one and I'm jealous, it's a lovely pushchair!
Stripy pregnancy is so exhausting, my threshold for staying off work has dropped significantly. If you can't go in, you can't go in. I hope a day relaxing makes you feel better.
I on the other hand am starting my 12 day work marathon, I'm not sure how far I'll make it through before collapsing in a big heap, but I did warn them in advance and they chose not to get cover for me. So if I go off sick it's their hard cheese I think. I'm gettting much less scared about upsetting the apple cart!

smellsofelderberries · 25/07/2016 14:53

Jade hope you get some answers soon and start feeling better!

Bolly good on you for that massive walk! You're in Sydney, correct? Curious to know where you live! nosey The relocation agent has asked us to start looking at places so she can line up some viewings for when we arrive. We love Balmain but that might be unrealistic given our budget!

Working today in a split-shift doing 8-10 then 3-7. Grabbed a coffee when I finished at 10 then went home for some lunch and promptly fell asleep on the sofa for half an hour! Feeling vaguely human again after a 6.30am wake up call 😴

onthemetro · 25/07/2016 14:57

Hope everything's ok Jade.

Stripy I feel the same, I feel like I'm taking the piss a bit with how much I've called in sick/gone home sick but I've only done it when I genuinely feel like I can't work. Hope you're feeling a bit better!

I'm sorting out my maternity leave (and DP's paternity leave) today. Just printing out DP's stuff (and procrastinating on MN) and baby is kicking away. Feels like it's getting very real now!

coppergrey · 25/07/2016 16:21

Hope everything is ok Jade. And hope everyone who struggled with the M&P code got what they wanted in the end!

I definitely overdid it last week. We've just got home from an overnight stay in a hotel which was lovely but I didn't sleep well and the 4-hour drive home was a killer, even if all I was doing was sitting there!

I'm craving sugar so much at the moment - had to have a stern word with myself as I was eating a brownie a day! Just had avocado on toast and now extremely tempted to nip to the cafe for a brownie. Sigh!

smellsofelderberries · 25/07/2016 17:14

Copper, have you tried fruit? Or maybe a piece of peanut/almond/cashew nut butter with honey? Not quite the same as a bit of gob full of chewy brownie but certainly much better for you! Or apple slices with nut butter are really good too. I'm craving sweet things right now too but I'm also really tired so think my body just needs the energy. Need to get some more prenatals as I think I probably need the iron.

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 25/07/2016 17:15

Hello ladies! Can I join the club? I've never been a part of these before so don't really know how they work.

Congratulations to you all!

tapismagique · 25/07/2016 17:20

Hi Muffy. Absolutely love your name!

MuffyTheUmpireSlayer · 25/07/2016 17:32

Thank you!

I know this has probably been done already but congratulations to you. When are you due?

coppergrey · 25/07/2016 17:47

Smells, I'm mad for fruit! Just had a nectarine, in fact. I'm trying to substitute sweets for fruit whenever I can but nut butter sounds good too, will give that a go! I think it's the energy thing for me too, I'm really bad at taking my Pregnacare so will step that up again and try to get more rest. Thank you!

Welcome Muffy and congrats! I'm due on 22nd Nov, how about you? Do you know if it's a girl or boy? Hope pregnancy has been treating you well so far Smile

Stripykitten · 25/07/2016 18:36

Ooooh brownies!!! I've been trying to be so good with my fruit and granola but today I just happened to stumble over a pack of hobnobbing. .. oops. I'll get back on track tomorrow.

Welcome Muffy, I'm due on the 10th Nov. :)

Slight change of subject, how's everyone getting on with pregnancy exercises? Anyone managing to do all kegels we are supposed to? I gotta say I really don't like them at all!!!

Fedupithink · 25/07/2016 18:41

I'm craving sugar too, all the time and I had a bad sweet tooth pre-pregnancy so resisting is not going well. Everyday I promise myself I'll do better.

Welcome Muffy!

JadeT2 · 25/07/2016 19:12

Just got home finally and all clear :) and my MIL is staying with us so I got home to a cooked dinner! Hope everyone else is doing well!

needanewjob · 25/07/2016 21:01

I'm so pleased Jade. Now pop your feet up and enjoy being spoilt x

Fedupithink · 25/07/2016 21:28
