Cantstringaword , no, I had asked what DPO meant as I wasn't entirely sure and it was Namechange who clarified. I'm slowly getting there with the acronyms now.

My EDD will definitely change as my cycle averages 32 days (varies from 28 up to almost 40+ days some months ), though it would be nice to have 17rh March as DH is N Irish! Grin I don't think he's registered that yes though!

This morning 21 month old DD vommed her morning milk all over me. Thankfully it's my day off so no real harm done ( apart from to bedroom carpet which I will be scrubbing shortly).

Lovely to see so many on her! Smile

Zanashar · 14/07/2016 09:16

Sorry!

March babies more likely to be Pilots (apparently)

CatalinaFuckingWineMixer · 14/07/2016 09:29

Getting up to clean up diarrhoea from our 2 dogs this morning has left me desperately hoping that the twins that run in my family haven't continued with me 😳 Not the nicest thing to be dealing with first thing in the morning when my nausea is worse before I've eaten 😷

Rosey135 · 14/07/2016 09:50

Oh Catalonia that sounds vile, my dog gets a dodgy belly quite often but lucky no accidents recently, it was bad enough before!!

My mum is a twin and there are a few sets of twins in he family, my mum reminded me if that yesterday, just trying to stick to getting my head around 1 for now.

My area must be much quieter for booking in appointments and scans as I'm not expected to even book my appointment till 7 weeks, I felt like I was falling behind as so many of you seem to have had appointments already but very relaxed here!

Relax I hope the scan goes well today, good luck!

CatalinaFuckingWineMixer · 14/07/2016 09:59

It really was rosey!

My gran is a twin and my cousin had twins earlier this year. My brother has been telling me statistics all year that have convinced him I'll have twins. I'd hate for him to be proved right, he'd bring it up forever 😂

Our area does booking in appointments between 8-10 weeks, mine isn't until 9+4 so I'm feeling behind too.

Carolann8584 · 14/07/2016 10:14

I've not got mine until 9+5 so feel like the wait is forever Sad and that's just with the midwife.

Not telling our parents until we have a scan photo sooooo difficult not telling my mum. So far we haven't told any of our family or friends

Seeing my mum today, and I have a terrible poker face Hmm

Cantstringawordtogether · 14/07/2016 10:16

Twins run in my family too, my mum is a twin and there are a few sets in her generation, and apparently it skips a generation on her side so it's me and all my cousins that are 'due' to have them, none so far though! Cannot imagine how I would cope, one more will stretch is enough as it is!!!!

Zanashar no worries I can totally empathise on the mushy brain!!!

Fx well done on getting that list together, a major job with the numbers on this thread!!

Gardencentregroupie · 14/07/2016 10:30

Saw the GP today. I am apparently a lot fatter than I thought I was - she measured me 2 inches shorter and 6lb heavier than my own measurements - makes a big (and depressing) difference to bmi :(

Relaxbaby · 14/07/2016 12:02

Hi everyone, it's scan today. A sac was seen with yolk and fetal pole but now heartbeat. She measure me at about 6w2d. According time dates I think I may be about 6w 4d so pretty close.
Can anyone work out what my due date will be? Sorry it should be easy to calculate but in quite stunned as to what to think. I am trying to stay positive but feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat.
Thanks for reading. x

NameChange30 · 14/07/2016 13:13

Relax
If there is only 2 days difference that's really good news, it means the baby has been growing as expected. Maybe the heartbeat is not always detected at this stage - what did the sonographer say about it?
It definitely sounds hopeful so hang on in there! Your EDD would be 7th March.
Take care of yourself Flowers

deuscat · 14/07/2016 13:31

Relax hugs, that sounds stressful. Will they be doing another scan? I think 6w is still early for finding a heartbeat actually.

Bridget my EDD was alters by just a day last time so it doesn't seem common for it to change too much really.

No real symptoms to report yet Hmm

4+2

BridgetDoodle · 14/07/2016 15:29

relax are you going back for a scan again in a week or so? I have read so many reports of no heartbeat at 5/6 weeks and then it's there a couple of weeks later so try not to get too panicked. My heart goes out to you though, it's the awful not knowing xx

alphabook · 14/07/2016 15:37

Sorry to hear that Relax, I'm in a similar situation and it's awful being in limbo. 6 weeks can just be too early to pick up a heartbeat though. Are you going back for another scan?

FXSkip · 14/07/2016 16:48

Relax I went for a scan at what I thought was 7 weeks, all they could see was an empty sac, prompting a week of panic and blood tests to confirm HCG levels. Still waiting to see if the levels are falling, but doc doesn't seem concerned. I am going back in a weeks time to see if things are progressing. Do you have a second scan booked yet? what prompted you to go for an early scan? It is very normal to see so little so early, try not to freak out too much (easier said than done)

ItsMagicYouKnow · 14/07/2016 17:28

Relax I'm no expert, but during my last pregnancy, I had a scan at around 8 weeks and they couldn't find a HB. That baby is playing next to me now (well, he's a little boy now) Smile

Fx for you and all those waiting, it really is horrible! And Fx for the rest of us who have no idea what's going on in there! already buying two of things, and may have bought baby's present to DS today, help me!

Cantstringawordtogether · 14/07/2016 18:39

Relax, alpha and fx that sounds stressful for you all. Early scans can be like that though can't they, I've known a good few people have worrying scans like that and then things progress as normal. Fingers crossed for you ladies and anyone else I might have missed too xx

LakeOfDreams · 14/07/2016 19:32

My EDD is 2nd of March although they electively induced me a week early with DD2. Havent managed to get hold of a midwife at all, I've left 2 answerphone messages. I cant see the midwife at the surgery as she only works a Friday morning and unfortunately that's my day to work too.

The GP has booked my 12 week scan had to change the appointment as it's at the end of our holiday and I didn't want the pressure. So it's now the 15th August. A month tomorrow seems unreal I'll be about 12 weeks by then!!

Tigger1987 · 14/07/2016 19:51

Can I please join? I had a faint positive on Tuesday (10DPO) after cramping on and off and then I had a better positive on Thursday (12DPO) on a FRER and digital. It does not feel real and this is my first pregnancy. According to FF my EDD is 26th March! x

Hi All- can I jump on board please? Period is due tomorrow but I've been getting increasingly dark BFP since Monday. EDD 24th March all being well. This will be DC2, DS is 2 next month.

Just read through all 31 pages, lovely to see so many people here already.

ahsan · 14/07/2016 20:32

Hi can I join as well. Got my BFP this morning and I'm due on the 25th of march. Got a faint positive this morning.

Rosey135 · 14/07/2016 20:57

Welcome newbies! Congratulations!!!

neonrainbow · 14/07/2016 21:09

Hello newbies! Congratulations on your bfps. I'm 7+1 which is still unreal to me. I never thought I'd actually be pregnant and i have no idea what I'm going to with a baby. I have a weird tight feeling in my lower abdomen today and I'm off sweet food completely. I was given chocolates recently and i just don't want them. Unheard of!

Beckyloulou100 · 14/07/2016 21:20

Hello everyone, great to see so many newbies.

I am around 4.5 weeks pregnant. Some of you may have seen my earlier post about spotting...well I had to go to the EPU yesterday. Abdominal scan showed nothing but internal scan showed a small sac and the sonographer said everything looked ok (thick womb). However she did say "I can see some free fluid but it doesn't seem sinister". Does anyone know what this means?

Naturally I am still worried. It took ages for my pregnancy test to show a positive at the hospital (was a strong line) but had a lot to drink beforehand - would this explain why it took a while to develop?

Hope everyone is doing ok. This thread has really helped me xx
