Hi everyone,
Got a BFP ( 3!) on Monday @ 5 days late ( not sure what DPO means sorry).
Worked out that due date is about 17th March.
Both myself and DH v surprised as thought we had missed the window last month ( he was away in France for Euros for the main week, so it just goes to show all the period trackers etc aren't that accurate) but v happy.
This will #2. we have a DD who will be 2 in September ( and sept 2014 babies on here?)
I already feel so tired, I could sleep all day. Don't remember this last time around.

Looking forward to getting to "know" you all over the coming months Smile

Carolann8584 · 13/07/2016 14:48

Welcome Zanashar and congratulations!

I'm also edd 17the March. Maybe we should get a list together so we can see our due date buddies?!

Booked in to see the midwife on 28 July, and early scan on 3rd August. Seems ages off!

NameChange30 · 13/07/2016 15:57

Hello and congrats to the newbies!

Zanashar DPO = days past ovulation

I thought I might be lucky and escape morning sickness but it has made an appearance today! (6+6) I haven't been sick but I've been feeling very nauseous all day. I'm wearing acupressure wrist bands in the hope it might help!

Anyone who isn't feeling sick, be careful what you wish for! Enjoy the normality while it lasts!

MrsMushrooms · 13/07/2016 16:00

Hello!

Another one for March 17th over here - looks like it'll be a busy St Patrick's Day!

Got my BFP on Monday and another today ('just to be sure') :D

FXSkip · 13/07/2016 16:59

butterfliesandzebras · 13/07/2016 18:38

Hi all, first time pregnant here, nervous and excited - dh still doesn't totally believe it after 2 days of testing so I've promised him I'll do another tomorrow!

So many of you seem way ahead of me, I have no symptoms, but I have to remind myself a month is a long time at these early stages and I hadn't even conceived when some of you were getting your first bfps, so there's plenty of time for me to catch up with feeling sick and tired!

Edd is the 20th.

Jjspoon · 13/07/2016 18:54

I'm around 8th March... I think lol.

Had my first midwife appointment today. Gave me lots of leaflets, my yellow/orange notes book thing to bring to every appointment, lots of forms to fill in and a wee sample pot. Got to go back next Tuesday with all the forms completed to give her and to go through medical history and have blood tests.

Gardencentregroupie · 13/07/2016 19:26

EDD 12th March here (though it'll be a C section, so the closest weekday is the 10th. My nephews birthday is the 11th and DH's niece is the 9th, so this one's cousins would be bookmarking it :) )

ItsMagicYouKnow · 13/07/2016 19:48

Thanks FX, don't even remember putting down my EDD so very good effort! Although the EDD is different in France, they count to 41 weeks (for good reason IMO, as I went to 41+2 last time!).

Have missed a few posts, will try and catch up! Welcome to all the newcomers, sorry again to those feeling rubbish. My mantra used to be "the placenta will take over at 12 weeks", and luckily it came true! No advice, just be kind to yourselves and take one day at a time (try not to think about the weeks ahead, easier said than done!).

5+1 here (dot snail) and low-level nausea has set in this evening. Not as bad as last time (for now...), but last time I didn't have a 2-year-old climbing all over me... My patience is in short supply too, feel very PMS-y!

Sorry, can't remember who asked the yoga question, and it's probably already been answered, but I told my yoga teacher as soon as I found out, and she let me stay in my regular class, but told me to avoid certain postures. I switched to pregnancy yoga when I moved house, which coincided with the start of the 2nd trimester. HTH!

Beautytobe · 13/07/2016 20:01

Had an awful day with sickness today my mil needed to come get my daughter!! I think it's my vitamins? It's happened before...doc recommended stopping them and just take folic, googled it an a lot of ppl say it makes the sickness worse. Going to miss today's and see couldn't take them if I wanted am gagging at everything!
Managed a bit of garlic bread and a small plain potato!
Cried lots as I can hard,y function and then worry am going thru hell and I might still lose my baby again

SpanielLedWeaning · 13/07/2016 20:13

7th March here Smile

ItsMagicYouKnow · 13/07/2016 20:39

Beauty It could indeed be your vitamins. I'm only taking F.A. at the moment. Incidentally, I went to get Vit. D supplements and then realised they contain fish liver oil. That can't be good can it? I haven't taken any just in case and the pharmacy hasn't rung me back Hmm.

Any other migraine sufferers here? I only get them very occasionally, but I've had to take paracetamol twice this week to ward off potential ones, and I think tonight's nausea was accompanying my headache.

Happygojo86 · 13/07/2016 21:26

I'm a migraine sufferer. Took a couple of sumatriptan before bfp and will take them if I really need them. I have done some research and am happy with that. Last time, first trimester migraines put me to bed for 18 hours at a time, it was horrific. I stopped taking paracetamol because it was doing nothing. However, this time, with an 11 month old I do not have the luxury of being able to 'check out' whilst I have a migraine. Especially as OH is currently offshore.

The good news is that I didn't have a migraine at all between 17 weeks preg and DD being 3 months old.... It was amazing!

alphabook · 13/07/2016 21:40

It's getting hard to keep up with this thread! Congrats to all the new BFPs.

I'm also 7 weeks today and have the micro chameleon Neon! On my other app baby is a blueberry.

Bridget I'm exactly the same, how odd. Last few days I've been so ill I've been losing the will to live, and today I've had a bit of mild nausea and that's it. Must be something in the air!

Magic I don't think it's safe to take liver oil supplements in pregnancy. I had what I think was a migraine yesterday, even with the curtains closed the light was bothering me so much I had to just sleep it off.

FX my EDD is 1st March.

Cantstringawordtogether · 13/07/2016 21:43

Just a quick response to add my edd to the list, currently March 1st but I expect that to change when I have my scan which is around the 11 week mark on August 9th :)

Helbel82 · 13/07/2016 21:48

Hi all
Can I jump aboard please?
Got my 2x bfps this morning and currently 4+1 according to last period, due 21st March. First time and very nervous but also very excited Smile

deuscat · 13/07/2016 21:57

Hi everyone

Just got my BFP today so I thought I would join in. It's my 2nd baby and DS is currently 18 months. EDD 22nd March. The only symptom is cramps which are always a bit disconcerting, especially as I had a MC before DS. I'm going to phone to book in with a midwife tomorrow. Get it all booked in!

Looking forward to getting to know you all.
