PotatosMum · 01/06/2016 12:38

It's time for another TTC#1 grads thread, with an ever increasing population of new arrivals, old hands and veterans we're moving thick and fast.

The first TTC#1 veterans are waddling their way into the third trimester this thread, with the promise of maternity leave to come, getting them through the day.

No subject is taboo, no TMI is too much, bump pictures, baby scans and photos of cute baby stuff are encouraged.

All are welcome so take your place on team blue, pink or vanilla for another TTC#1 grads thread!

P.S. Has anyone bought any father's day presents for your baby's dad to be? DH said he didn't want anything but this is just really cute: www.notonthehighstreet.com/littlepieces/product/dad-to-be-mug I don't know whether to buy it or just wait until we have a proper little man who can celebrate with his daddy.

IndiX · 15/06/2016 17:02

Leonie I was thinking the same about Father's Day, I won't actually be with DH on Sunday but he did a cute surprise for me on Mother's Day so I would feel a bit mean. He may forget all about it though tbh!

Canters I wouldn't worry too much about weighing yourself, I was doing it every week before my holidays and weighed myself this morning at 23weeks and gained 12lbs which I'm surprisingly happy with, I thought it would be a lot more by now. Just stick with clothes and how you feel and just don't go TOO crazy on junk food. You'll be fine.

Oh bunch I'm sorry you've hurt yourself! You'll have to rest all evening, eat chocolate and watch Netflix. The ONLY cureWink also your baby delivery is super cute.

Irregular my Beanie is also loving to roll around at the moment, I feel like I'm being stretched from the inside when she does it. I think I also have a little troublemaker on the way!

Nevlet · 15/06/2016 17:03

Hey girls! Checking in after a while... Work is mad busy with GCSE exams and am so tired by the evening am just crashing out!

Hope you are all well! Smile

Canters15 · 15/06/2016 17:09

Am equally relieved and alarmed by bunch and potato ominous the weight will find youuuuuuu! I find it pretty easy normally to gain weight (alas) so am sure the scales will rocket soon!

BunchOfBobs · 15/06/2016 17:15

Leonie I'm expecting a massive head/over 8lber anyway so Pip should fit in mine pretty much straight away. Embarrassing stash admission time. I have 3 tog 2.5 (one grobag, one ikea and one Cookie Monster one), one tog 1 travel car seat (grobag) and one standard tog1 (grobag). I have the one Dino groswaddle, 13 swaddle Muslins and 3 cellular blankets. I DEFINITELY don't need any more .

Hi Nev! Long time no see, hope you're well and resting up when you finish work.

leoniethelioness · 15/06/2016 17:21

Bunch You sound very organised! I am thinking about ordering a travel Grobag, one of these (www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+love-to-swaddle-up-warm-in-sleeping-bags+d4671) and perhaps another cellular blanket, and going from there. I have a lot of different types of blanket so maybe I don't need more than one cellular blanket... I'd rather him sleep in a sleeping bag, to be honest - seems a lot easier to me!

Mileymoocow · 15/06/2016 17:48

I bought the groswaddles cause I was under the impression they can be used from birth! Please tell me they can? If not, it'll be fine. I have blankets and sleepsuits so can layer as necessary.

Thanks for the list leonie! I'll save it to my notes.

bunch my pooch is raw fed too Grin sorry you injured yourself, I get wrong for carrying his boxes of food too.

shelbTa · 15/06/2016 17:52

Omg - I have no blankets and one sleeping bag!!!!! I need to get organised!!!
X

leoniethelioness · 15/06/2016 17:55

Yes, Groswaddle and Grosnug from birth, Miley. It's the other types they need big heads for!

Evergreen17 · 15/06/2016 18:25

Oh no Bunch! I hope back gets better!
You ladies with your shopping list I am so jealous!

I am having my transvaginal scan tomorrow to look at my ovaries and really hoping they see a little bean. I will be only 5 weeks but I hope they see something Smile

Pinklily1 · 15/06/2016 18:51

Yikes, I only have one sleeping bag as well, I need to make a proper list.

Miley, very pleased to hear you do get a 10% off voucher. I was getting prepared to have an argument with them if not!

Bunch, that sounds painful. I second the Netflix and treats suggestion. Daft question from a non-dog owner - do you get deliveries of frozen meat and then cook it for them?! I'm intrigued! Loving the recent shopping delivery too.

Ever, hope the scan goes well tomorrow.

Canters I second those who have said the weight just finds you Hmm I haven't weighed myself for a while. I'm also taking the approach that if I can still fit into size 10 maternity clothes, I'm relatively happy. I've definitely noticed a change in my body shape though (not just the obvious belly growth!). I was a regular runner but had to stop at about 22 weeks and my thighs seem to have grown since then Shock

Potato, any news?

Nev, lovely to see you pop back. Hope all is well. You mustn't have long to go now until mat leave?

Glad the midwife appointments to well today.

I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow to get a letter to confirm I'm fit to fly and am having a last minute panic, based on nothing whatsoever, that she won't give me a letter!

Loving the dream about the additional right unnamed children!

Feefeefs · 15/06/2016 19:00

Sorry still pukey and struggling to type on phone, keeping more food down but less fluids!? Thanks for the good wishes

Feefeefs · 15/06/2016 19:00

Has anyone seen starky?

Mileymoocow · 15/06/2016 19:24

pink no, it's fed completely raw. Here's a photo of my boy waiting to eat a whole duck stuffed with liver haha. Also, you're pregnant - panicking is your perogative Wink it'll all be ok Grin

ever good luck with your scan, sure everything will be spotty dog! Doesn't matter how far on you get, a scan always seems to be a nervy time!

feef sorry to hear you're suffering. I really hope it eases for you.

BunchOfBobs · 15/06/2016 19:25

Feefs hope you feel better soon. There's a point, no I haven't, not for a couple of days at least.

Pink no need to cook the food for them, they eat it raw as they're designed to. It's important they get the right balance of meat, offal and bone so I'm a a lazy raw feeder and buy it pre mixed and minced. Lots of people do it themselves and it's much cheaper that way but it involves more effort than I'm willing to expend and the premade stuff is amazing.

Miley what do you feed your gorgeous boy? We use Nutriment. I had used DAF in the last but it was much messier and the bone content seemed lower.

Mileymoocow · 15/06/2016 19:28

bunch I really don't like DAF, I found the quality was slipping each time we tried it. We have a local business in our area called the wandering dog company (check out he website!) who stock an astronomical amount. Our favourite is Bulmers and MVM. Joanne (the lady who owns it) does deliveries all over England and Scotland. Very reasonably priced

BunchOfBobs · 15/06/2016 19:33

Miley I've been recommended MVM but found their website too badly laid out. I will have a looksie at your website. Lovely to see someone else using the term spotty dog. My DH doesn't get it but my dads always said it. Or shortens it to "That's spotty that is". Grin

My Sherlock would be very envious to see what your lab gets to eat, but Nutriment suits him. DAF definitely got worse and I'm glad to be rid. He gets duck necks etc as treats and used to get chicken wings regularly until he tried to swallow one whole Shock

Good luck for the scan Ever.

PotatosMum · 15/06/2016 19:33

Danni, Leonie glad your appointments went well.

D'oh Bunch you is preggers, you aren't supposed to do things like that anymore! Do be careful, I hope your back doesn't hurt for long.

Ever good luck with the scan Smile

Oh no Feef hope the sickness passes soon.

I have 2 sleeping bags, 2 blankets and a cellular blanket I refuse to use as it was a hand me down from OHs ex will be sending it off to a charity shop ASAP I did think that was enough but now you've all got me thinking I need more Confused I might wait until Potato is here before getting any more though as I don't want to go silly.
I've been looking at baby and toddler clothes patterns the last few days and daydreaming about getting the sewing machine out after we move and making lots of cute outfits Smile

Speaking of moving. Still no news! Angry apparently the underwriter was really busy and didn't get to our case. Mortgage advisor has made a complaint and been told that our case will be looked at first thing tomorrow but they wouldn't tell her what first thing meant so she's going to call them at 10am. I have to admit that right now I have a sinking feeling about it.

To add insult to injury, my cross stitch hasn't arrived yet and I was looking forward to starting it tonight Angry

Mileymoocow · 15/06/2016 20:31

bunch it's a classic! My mam used to say it all the time and it's stuck with me. Also, sherlock is a brilliant name. We get mostly completes from MVM as they're easier but we do diy when I feel I can be arsed! Milo's favourite is a poultry foot but he is partial to a neck Wink

Mileymoocow · 15/06/2016 20:33

potato I'd be burning that blanket. You've done well to keep it to send to charity!

Pinklily1 · 15/06/2016 20:35

Crikey, this dog feeding malarky is a whole new world! We are thinking of getting a dog once baby comes along, and here was me thinking ti was just doggy food from the supermarket! I have lots to learn Smile

Potato - thats really annoying, hopefully "first thing" means what it should mean - 9am!!

shelbTa · 15/06/2016 20:53

Uhhhh, why are mortgages so slow potato, what do they do all day!

Jealous of you guys with dogs, my oh is flat out no to one.

Oh, I just had a salad for my tea.......a preg sized salad covered in cheese that is!!!

X

Mileymoocow · 15/06/2016 21:01

shelb that looks amazing! I live a good salad.

pink you can feed a good quality shop bought dry food but it's more natural to feed them a raw diet. It's personal choice really Smile

My OH now seems to be conditioned to think that me applying bio oil and asking him to rub it into my back automatically means 'please massage my boobs and bum, also boning is iminent.' Poor lad!

Pinklily1 · 15/06/2016 21:05

That made me chuckle Miley! My OH is using my ever expanding boobs as an excuse for a good fondle - he pretends he's just checking to see how much they have grown! Blush

Shelb, that looks yummy.

BunchOfBobs · 15/06/2016 21:11

I know Potato. I was naughty. Blush

Miley it really suits him. He's a Beagle so I decided he's a detective Smile What's your gorgeous boy called? He's in such great condition, too often you see massively overweight chocs.

TMI alert. Any other T3 ladies suffering with their guts? I've had an upset tummy the last two days. Can't really describe it other than uncomfortable stomach (guts), like sore and aching, needing to go the loo 4-5 times a day (though not diarrhoea) and now I have piles even though I'm not straining or anything. I'm sad.

Shelb that looks like an epic salad.
