Thread #7 - TTC#1 Grads - Third Trimester Special

PotatosMum · 01/06/2016 12:38

It's time for another TTC#1 grads thread, with an ever increasing population of new arrivals, old hands and veterans we're moving thick and fast.

The first TTC#1 veterans are waddling their way into the third trimester this thread, with the promise of maternity leave to come, getting them through the day.

No subject is taboo, no TMI is too much, bump pictures, baby scans and photos of cute baby stuff are encouraged.

All are welcome so take your place on team blue, pink or vanilla for another TTC#1 grads thread!

potato I've got a good feeling about your house situation , in my loins. I can feels it there!

lovely picture pink* you are blossoming! You look lovely!

miley I'd actually not thought of that! His nose knows as it were! Seems like such an age agof with the ovulation sniffing! He told me the other day that I'm so lovely pregnant he thinks I should stay this way every year! I was like "errrrm yes well, we can discuss that as and when, I'm sure when I've got a fanny like a wizards sleeve you will be less keen!" Grin

Newmrs22 · 01/06/2016 18:54

Checking in. Thanks for the new thread potato

New, 28. 29 weeks with a vanilla wiggly worm!

Been having a shitty day today, with excruciating back ache, strange stomach pains and ligament pain. having a lie down and feel a bit better now.

Lovely bump photos!

leoniethelioness · 01/06/2016 19:16

Leonie, 27, 23 weeks pregnant with first baby - a boy who we have decided, after much indecision, to call Theodore (Theo). Our little Theodorable! I've also got an anterior placenta so only feel the odd popping sensation from him. However, he is making his presence known as I'm getting bigger and bigger! Looking forward to meeting him in September.

Pinklily1 · 01/06/2016 19:38

Leonie, I love Theo! That was on our boys names list Smile

Canters15 · 01/06/2016 19:53

Canters. Age 29 with a 15+4 misbehaving foetus.

I love both Harrison and Theodore , gorgeous names! Cant wait to find out what my little one is!

Starky, tenner says your dh is right!

Laurenrl · 01/06/2016 20:12

OK I'm clear to talk names!

I love Emilia and Harrison Miley great choices!

Also potato Maria is such a cute middle name , my little cousins' is Marie and it suits her so much

So our name is Jemima Faye, Faye being OHs grandma who passed away.... Thoughts?

LillianFullStop · 01/06/2016 20:13

New thread yay! Checking in...

Lillian 36 (soon to tick over to 37) with a 19+3 buzzing stowaway named Bee. Felt the first few niggles at 16w but this one is definitely kicking up a fuss now!

Mileymoocow · 01/06/2016 20:20

Aww theo was on our list, too. We had Thea for a girl as well.

Just seen baby's first kick, been feeling them for a few weeks but out came an arm or leg and I was so lucky to get it on video. Sent it to OH at work so hopefully that'll cheer his night up

Laurenrl · 01/06/2016 20:24

Didn't see your message leonie (silly me only looking at page one) love love love them was on our list had she been a he :)

Laurenrl · 01/06/2016 20:25

Theo* not them (I'm really annoying myself with the early sending now let alone you all!)

Pinklily1 · 01/06/2016 20:43

Lauren - i think Jemima is lovely!

Laurenrl · 01/06/2016 20:46

Thanks Pink, lovely bump pic! And looks as though your baby room is coming along in the background!

PotatosMum · 01/06/2016 20:47

Pink that's a lovely "blossoming" bump you have there Wink

Stark i hope your loins are right, if not I shall be having stern words with them about giving false indications HmmGrin
Oh and phahhahaha! At wizard sleeve Grin

New sorry you're having an achey day Sad

Lauren Jemima Faye is lovely.

Leonie I really like Theo but now I've got the flipping chipmunks song stuck in my head Confused

Lillian yay for feeling your little one.

Miley you're so lucky to have got baby's first visible kicks on camera. I keep trying but every time I go to film Potato stops kicking little sod

Have spent all evening window shopping on eBay... Feel a bit bad for wasting so much time but not enough to stop! Wink

Potato DH says we can't name our next two Alvin and Simon... 😜

Mileymoocow · 01/06/2016 21:02

lauren jemima is a brilliant name! Never come across anyone called that but I think it's really lovely

Pinklily1 · 01/06/2016 21:03

Lauren - that's a spare room acting as a bit of a dumping ground at the minute - the nursery is a different room, currently being decorated!

Now i'm thinking of the Chipmunks too! Alvin and Simon would not make my boys list if baby was a boy variety Smile

LisaTheSimpson · 01/06/2016 21:24

Gorgeous names, everyone! And some lovely bump photos too! Love your dress, Lara.

I particularly like Harrison and Theo.

We've got a girl's name sorted (Rose), but can't decide on a boy's yet.

I promise I won't steal those though! Current leader is Leo.

Feefeefs · 01/06/2016 21:43

Feef 28, 1st pregnancy, 12+2 officially now and due 12th December, team vanilla.

We picked out names before I was pregnant so one thing done!!!

Currently enjoying a week of telling everyone. But beyond exhausted after a hen do weekend last weekend and struggling to keep up in here! Will try harder.

Loving all the bump pics!! Currently feeling a bit stressed that I'm just getting fatter!

BunchOfBobs · 01/06/2016 22:03

Bunch 30, 29+4 with a little Boy currently called Pip.

Thanks for the new thread Potato. I was told by my ever so honest aunt today "oooh you are piling it on everywhere aren't you@ then she gently caressed my many chins Grin

Nev I'm the same with the list getting longer. Im massively torn about sharing bands. If love to gauge a reaction but what if the reaction isn't great.

Miley i love your boy name, it was on our list but I have a cousin who named her son Harrison so can't go there.

Jesus Starky that really has flown.

Any other ladies suffering with their feet yet? Mine are killing me all day long. Has really bad swelling today so not sure how I'm going to be after a day of shopping tomorrow Hmm

Lovely bump Lara, I adore the dress- I have a proper stripe obsession at the mo.

Lovely bump Pink

LillianFullStop · 01/06/2016 23:20

I am loving the bump pics ladies you all look so amazing!!!

Lara aka scan buddy mine is on Fri 10th so just 2 days after you!

congrats on the maternity leave bunch I think you're the first one off the mark!

IrregularCommentary · 01/06/2016 23:26

New thread and you've already about filled two pages!

31, cooking baby #1, little girl who is turning 22w in about half an hour.

Stark - welcome to T2, it seems to be where all the exciting stuff happens, so loads better than T1, which you're right, lasts forever! I'm also trusting in your DH'S spidey senses after he's done so well so far.

Loving the name choices so far, nothing top 10 (which we want to avoid if poss) but lovely names still. Names are taking quite a bit of discussion here, partly with DH being a teacher. Me:"How about X?" DH:"Nope, twatface"... and repeat. Sigh.

Current frontrunner is Tamsin Elizabeth, middle name of Elizabeth being a family one for me that I'm keen to keep going.

Bunch - feet are fine, but definitely noticing some ankle swelling now. I look like I've been on a flight by the end of the day!

Great looking bumps Lara and Pink, it's nice seeing everyone's develop.

Hope you're feeling better soon New, that sounds miserable.

Co5mo appointment was fine thanks, though predictably pointless. Basically repeated same info as I gave at my booking in appointment and to the consultant a couple of weeks ago and was told not to worry, prior slipped discs won't affect anything I may choose. I wasn't expecting it to...! Glad they're thorough I guess, but wish it could be done by phone. I'm General atm, purely on the basis of it having more parking! My travel time to either is pretty similar.

Nevlet · 01/06/2016 23:38

Bunch we are considering so far:

Woodford (woody)
Railey
Asa
Addison
Bodhi
Phoenix
Harper
Dakota
Hickory (corey)
River
Tyde

Middle name will either be Reef or Kenneth (dps dads name).

Any other suggestions that are quite unique?

leoniethelioness · 02/06/2016 06:36

My sister's nephew is called Bodhi and he is absolutely gorgeous. From your list I also like Asa and Harper. Are you just looking for boys' names, Nev? Maybe you'll also like Ezra, Rory, Asher, Beck.

leoniethelioness · 02/06/2016 06:38

Otis, Arlo and Apollo too!

Co5mo · 02/06/2016 06:51

Parking isn't a problem at the Royal anymore Irregular. I haven't seen a queue since the new multistory opened. Both units have their pros and cons. One of my deciding factors for the Royal over Coventry was neonatal care that I trust (not that I'm planning on using it).

No sore feet here Bunch...sore hips, shoulders, but not feet so far.
