It's time for another TTC#1 grads thread, with an ever increasing population of new arrivals, old hands and veterans we're moving thick and fast.

The first TTC#1 veterans are waddling their way into the third trimester this thread, with the promise of maternity leave to come, getting them through the day.

No subject is taboo, no TMI is too much, bump pictures, baby scans and photos of cute baby stuff are encouraged.

All are welcome so take your place on team blue, pink or vanilla for another TTC#1 grads thread!

My bf is exactly the same bunch if I ask him if he's excited he's like yeah of course! But then he is never interested in doing anything like shopping for the baby or talking about the nursery or making plans for when she's here. My mum tells me its very hard for (some) men to understand until the baby is actually here, and then once they hold then they get excited enough for the last 9 months and want to buy everything. She says my dad was the same and he was the most dobting loving dad to me so I'm hoping she's right!

I can finally feel my baby! I've never been so happy! she must have gotten stronger or my placenta has moved because she wacked me so hard I actually made a shocked noise and looked down expecting to see something bursting out of me... 🙃 sometimes I really wonder how I get by in life!

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 20:50

Lauren you can feel her! SmileSmile How far along are you? Those clothes are soooo cute Smile
I am not buying anything until I am past the 12 weeks barrier Blush

Laurenrl · 11/06/2016 20:52

Very normal Ever I still feel that now every now and again, your body is changing and you only have those types of pain/aches as a term of reference to relate them too. I'm another who bled throughout the first trimester too, including a huge bleed at 7 weeks needing an internal scan, always worth getting anything youre worried about checked out though so just keep monitoring it. If you're still on the Ttc1 thread could you please ask if anyone wants me to send them a load of Internet cheapie PG tests? I have about 30 here and I'm moving soon so they're probably gonna get thrown away!

Laurenrl · 11/06/2016 20:55

Haha ever i said I wouldn't buy anything until 12 weeks either but I had about 3 eBay bundles by that time and a swing, it's hard not to get excited! I'm 24+3 so shouldve been feeling her for ages but my placenta was at the front (anterior placenta) so was blocking me feeling her movements (apart from a few bubbles) until now!

Planeteer · 11/06/2016 21:06

Yaaaay Lauren so glad you can feel her! Also those outfits are lovely.

Ever please don't feel that there's anything you can't ask! As others have said it's really nice to have someone in the early stages, it's all so exciting! I hope we can help with some answers as you go through it.

I've had my first baby dancing tonight! Spent far too long on my feet househunting (17km according to the FitBit) and have been feeling v sorry for myself with killer round ligament pain. As soon as I sat down, Pancake went bananas and I could really clearly see kicks. Just amazing!! Cheered me right up!

Also made some purchases today. Finally letting myself look at baby clothes. So much cuteness!

Lauren that's lovely to hear. You must be so chuffed Smile

DH just read a story to Pip during half time so he's definitely improving.

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 21:07

Lauren I will ask about the cheapies

BunchOfBobs · 11/06/2016 21:08

Yay Planet. So glad you've both had movements today. How did the house hunting go? Lovely clothes Smile

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 21:09

ever it's completely normal. I was convinced for days I was going to come on my period and the 278965 positive pregnancy tests were wrong. Also, get used to the bloating! I think mine started to subside around week 8 but even with severe morning sickness I was incredibly bloated. Now I'm just one big lump of flesh containing a hell of a lot of gas.

I'm another that said no to buying anything before 12 weeks. By the time that scan came round I had the nursery painted and furniture bought! It's very difficult to not get carried away though I know some had a lot more self control than me and waited.

lauren those outfits are amazing! Where are they from?

I'm going to finish watching the match then go to bed. I have to be up at 3.30am to take my mam and stepdad to the airport for the holiday we were supposed to be going on. Boooo Sad

my pup is a sad pup tonight, he hates anyone shouting and thinks we're mad at him every time OH shouts at the telly. The 37kg labrador is currently sat on his dad's knee... such a sensitive soul.

bunch I can't read when I feel like this because I have trouble concentrating on things. The only stuff I can manage is repetitive stuff I don't need to think about and I don't really have any baby planning left to do until I actually have a room to put the baby in.
I think I may just be feeling a bit confined. I've had to take my desk down to fit boxes of stuff into a corner, the kids have taken over the living room so I don't have anywhere to go except the bed where I've been stuck all afternoon and evening. OH still has his desk space as he has a computer while I have a laptop but I usually use my laptop propped on cushions in the living room. It's too uncomfortable at the moment to use it in bed.
All in all, I'm just in a grumpy mood that I hope will have gone by tomorrow.

Glad you cleared the air with OH Smile

Ever yep, pre-period symptoms are completely normal. They'll go away eventually.

Lauren I yelped the first few times Potato properly booted me. You get used to it though.

My OH also shows very little interest in buying baby stuff or preparing for her. I've got used to it now as she is his third i just try to accept that it won't be as exciting for him. I know he'll love her to bits when she's born though and that's all that matters.

Love them planet! especially the apple vest! and 17k I'm not sure I could mange that at the moment!! Hope house hunting was a success?

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 21:13

Thanks Lauren yes it is now and then, not all the time and not really painful just something Confused
I posted about the cheapies on the thread
OMg planeeter those clothes are so lovely SmileSmileSmile

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 21:15

Bunch thAt is so cute that he read a story!!!!

Laurenrl · 11/06/2016 21:15

And yay for movements! There must be something in the air planet!

Aww Miley your poor pooch, they can be sensitive souls! He is so adorable. These ones were eBay as I loved bunch's hareem pants but couldn't find them in shops anywhere, they're next originally.

PotatosMum · 11/06/2016 21:15

Planet I think at this point 17km would kill me!

Did you see anything you liked?

Miley my OH is sat shouting at the PC. I hate football, one of OHs most endearing features was that up until now he has shown no interest in watching it. Typical he chooses today to watch a marathon of games Hmm

Miley that is very reassuring! I have decided to stop testing as I used up all my FRERs and the line kept getting darker SmileSmileSmileSmile
I have decided to ignore my cheapies as you can see they are rubbish and show nada (a very faint discoloured line)

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 21:19

My OH is very quiet but my neighbour shouts with every match Grin

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 21:35

potato if I didn't live so far away I'd say come round to mine for a bit space and restoring your sanity! It sounds as though you need it.

lauren he's so soft, he's a daddy's boy through and through and absolutely hates any loud noise. Crappiest gun dog ever. I think I'm gonna have to pay eBay a visit, some of you ladies have bought some amazing things off there!

ever I'd say 4 positive frer's indicate you are, in fact, upduffed Wink

I will admit I'm a football fan, so I do a lot of shouting at the telly Blush little bubs did not appreciate the cheer when we scored, though. Swift kick of disapproval...

Planeteer · 11/06/2016 21:50

Think 17km might well have finished me! On the sofa and likely to remain here for the foreseeable. We did however see a gorgeous house and have made an offer. Fingers firmly crossed that the vendors go for it!

Potato sorry you're having such a rubbish day! Could you claim sanctuary in the bathroom with a Hollywood style bubble bath and candles?

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 22:10

Miley someone stop me taking test!!!

Also someone stops me from googlin miscarriage statistics every five minutes
I am sooooo scared Sad

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 22:11

Googling

Planeteer · 11/06/2016 22:31

Ever step away from Dr Google if you can. It's so tempting to get caught up in the statistics, but try and take each day at a time. Sending a hug and some cake. CakeCake

LisaTheSimpson · 11/06/2016 22:38

Oh no, Miley, did you decide not to go to Zante? (I think that's where you were going, right?)

I'm so sorry you didn't feel up to going on holiday. Hope you get to have a relaxing break at home instead x

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 23:10

Thanks lisa Smile yep, we were supposed to be off to zante for a fortnight. I think we made the right decision though cause I'm still a bit iffy! I'm not too upset by it after how much I suffered in the 20 degree heat at home last week! I feel bad for OH though as he was really looking forward to it, even though it was him that insisted we stayed home.

ever we've all done it, believe me when I say nothing good will come of it. Google is your enemy for a while. My advice is to enjoy these weeks, you may be one of us unlucky ones who suffers morning sickness in a few weeks and you'll be wishing you still felt as good as you do now Grin

Co5mo · 11/06/2016 23:14

Ever I'm sure if you don't test again and ask nicely you might be in for a star.

So I found out tonight that 22 week babies and concerts are an interesting mix. Baby went absolutely bananas at the support act (I think it was reacting the big base drum) but didn't seem to care one little bit that Elton John was playing. Who said they were going to Glastonbury? My advice after tonight would be to get baby used to the basey music before you go or you'll have baby dancing on your bladder at the most inconvenient time.
