It's time for another TTC#1 grads thread, with an ever increasing population of new arrivals, old hands and veterans we're moving thick and fast.

The first TTC#1 veterans are waddling their way into the third trimester this thread, with the promise of maternity leave to come, getting them through the day.

No subject is taboo, no TMI is too much, bump pictures, baby scans and photos of cute baby stuff are encouraged.

All are welcome so take your place on team blue, pink or vanilla for another TTC#1 grads thread!

Oooh which pram are you getting leonie?

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 08:13

Woke up to day 3 of vomiting. The wretching was that intense that I was farting with every heave Blush OH was hysterically laughing when I came back into the bedroom. He asked me why I was being sick all the time again, so I said maybe it's because you've managed to fertilise another egg and I'm pregnant all over again. The smile was wiped completely off his face, overshadowed by a look of sheer panic before he said "it doesn't work like that, does it?" I couldn't keep a straight face to try to convince him it did, but serves him right for laughing at my poopy vomit. He has now been sent to McDonald's for a bagel and porridge!

leonie exciting times! I love a parcel delivery these days. I've been banned from buying much more, so haven't had one in a while. Are you building your pram up straight away? We couldn't help ourselves so ours is in the nursery ready for baby. We built our swing up yesterday, too Grin

Pregnancy brain has got me big time and every single time I come on here I write a long heartfelt post and then delete it by accident AngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngryAngry. I'm driving myself nuts.

In short I'm unreasonably happy about sodas poo, feeling the frustration for potato and bunch, but convinced it will all work out, hoping things get easier for May and so sorry for your loss.

I like your swing miley where's it from sorry about the vomitting

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 08:39

Just managed to catch up, may that is awful for you, sorry for your loss SadFlowers

feefs it's a Taggies one from babies r us. The reviews are mixed but I'm happy with the quality

leoniethelioness · 11/06/2016 08:44

Miley That sounds grim. Enjoy your McDonald's! DH is working all weekend so I'm trying to sort things out at home. DH wants to build the pram so I'm going to leave deciding when up to him. We have a coat cupboard in our porch which I am going to clean out this morning since none of the coats even fit me to make space to store the pram in the long term. We're getting the Armadillo Flip XT from Mamas and Papas. I'm attaching a photo of it that I found on a blog. We have it in navy with a carry cot.

Car seat and baby bedding on the way too! Still no cot though...

Our nursery is in transition at the moment as we're storing things in there that need to move into our guest room for now. I need to try to find a plumber today to remove the sink (yes, sink) from the guest room so we can get it decorated and carpeted next month.

My house is all Crown Ivory Cream and Dulux Jasmine White. Someone recommend me something for a guest room to stop my house being 50 shades of beige.

Sorry may just read your post properky. It's an awful situation because you can't grieve as openly as you might normally be able to. Thinking of you.

LaraG13 · 11/06/2016 08:48

Great choice leonie. I tried it out in mamas and papas and liked it a lot.

PotatosMum · 11/06/2016 09:23

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

New that sounds pretty stressful. I'm glad baby is fine though. You may appreciate baby being on the small side on the way out! Wink

Planet we had the same weird adjustment when we found out Potato was a girl, we were convinced she would be a he but I now couldn't imagine her being a boy... Plus, girly cloths are cuter Wink
Good luck again with the houses!

May I'd be more worried about coping with the toilets! Do they still set up the shower block in green field if you're desperate?
Also, I found if you just needed a quiet sit down in the shade circus is a brilliant place to go.

For the funeral, just pretend you're fat. Most people are to polite to comment if they think you've just been overdoing the ice cream Wink

You have my sympathies on the credit file woes. It's usually not the end of the world but it does make life a lot more difficult as I have learned Hmm

Good luck on the 12 week scan. Are you going to consider a home birth?

Ever your first appointment will be your booking appointment but this is the appointment where they collect lots of info about you and talk to you about what happens next and what you need to do. Try to write your questions down so that you remember to ask them. Don't worry the appointment is long and they won't rush you.

Miley that's so funny about convincing your OH he's got you pregnant again. I can just imagine the look on his face!

Ooo... I like that swing! I couldn't resist building our pram either. It currently lives under the bed until we move. we will bloody move!

Leonie nice pram Smile
I'm no help with the decorating. OH is the designer in our house but he really loves grey, every time we paint a room or choose stuff for the house I have to battle to make sure it isn't 100% grey... I am slowly losing this battle Hmm

So today's riveting plan is to take DSD to get her new glasses, then maybe take the kids out for some distraction. They're both a little upset that their mum is moving them to her OHs house this weekend while they're away. When they go back they'll be living somewhere completely different. I feel a bit bad that we haven't sorted out our house yet so can't tell DSS when he can move in with us. He's probably got a good 2 months of living with two 8 year olds and a 10 year old so he may be a little frazzled by the time he moves in with us.

leoniethelioness · 11/06/2016 09:36

I was thinking about painting the room grey... Blush It's the new beige... There's just too much choice!

Planeteer · 11/06/2016 09:56

Leonie we're a house of grey too, haha. If I had my way everything would be pale grey or teal. With chevrons!

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 10:25

We love grey here too! I have a coloured feature wall in every room - purple in living room, orange in dining room and we did have lime and grey in master bedroom but changed that to chocolate and cream. I find that keeping everything the same with a but of bright colour added here there and everywhere really helps. Our kitchen is tiled with a bit of teal splashed here and there (kettle, toaster, splashback etc)

I love that pram, it's lovely!

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 10:47

Thanks Potato I think I will just do that, go to the appointment and discuss everything there
I was confused because of this paper they gave me at surgery
Hmm saying I send the scan form first
Then on the form it says I talk to midwife first
Confusing hah Confused

Ever you'll probably find your midwife will book you in for your scan. Most areas don't let you self refer so the letter might be misleading.

What a lot of grey! I don't mind grey but honestly OH would have all furniture and walls in shades of grey Confused

I am not having a good day... We went into town for a couple of hours and it absolutely killed my hips and back and I completely overheated and ended up bursting into tears in the car. I don't even know why I was crying and now I'm lead at home feeling like shit Sad
Made worse by the fact that I feel really fidgety, I want to be out, somewhere doing something but I don't know where or what and my body hurts too much for me to do anything about it.

Feeling really grumpy Sad

OP posts:
Co5mo · 11/06/2016 14:13

I was looking at that M&P pushchair today. It's between that and one of the Silver Cross at the moment. DH wants the SC and I'm torn between them. Why can't I have both?

Thanks for your comments about the elephant. The pattern is Elijah by Ysolda Teague. Half way through the next one then only one more to go before I can start knitting for my baby.

I'm having a similar day Potato and DH has just made me more grumpy by heading out to play cricket when he was meant to be stripping the walls in the nursery. So that leaves me to deal with our broody chicken, cleaning the coop, bathroom and sorting out an early dinner so we can go to a concert this evening. Oh and picking up his online shopping. Better get off my backside. Rant over!

leoniethelioness · 11/06/2016 15:29

Co5mo We were also considering a Silver Cross - they are really nice. We decided on this one because it was a bit cheaper and I also liked that I could get a car seat in exactly the same colour (a dark navy) as the pram. I've got this car seat which matches perfectly - www.mamasandpapas.com/product-cybex-aton-q-car-seat-navy/1593b8000/type-i/. I love some of the colours that they do for the Silver Cross prams - really nice!

I'm now browsing on Notonthehighstreet for some nursery prints. There are some lovely wall stickers on there but I am a bit worried about applying them to my newly skimmed and decorated walls...

BunchOfBobs · 11/06/2016 16:32

Thanks all for the lovely messages. I'm feeling a bit better. DH and I have talked it all over and how it really is only a problem if they let me go 14 days over for induction. Anything less and they'll get to see Pip before the op. I'm going to speak to my midwife on Wednesday about protocol re induction and if I can get a stretch and sweep on my 40 week appointment.

Congrats on team pink Planet. Love the thumbs up.

Sorry for your loss May.

Love the swing Miley. I'm looking forward to mine arriving.

Another house full of grey here too, grey walls, carpets and sofa. Also love chevrons planet.

Potato I'm having a similar day. I've so far had DH clean the oven. I've cleaned the cutlery tray. He's just decided to put the Wales match on and I burst into tears as I have a hideous tv aversion lately as he's away half the week and when I'm home alone I feel like I'm stuck in a prison with the to for company. I've sulked off to the nursery in tears and the sod hasn't even followed me. I think I may go empty the understands cupboard as that's where the next size up car seat needs to go and it's currently sat in front of it with his golf clubs. I hate sitting still as it hurts my back and hips even more. Sorry to hear you have a similar pain Potato,* it's awful.

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 17:57

Aww potato sorry your day is crap, hoping it gets better FlowersFlowers

I feel like the secondary school kid that gets to hand out with the high school folk GrinGrin
And you guys talk about Pram models and their aerodynamics and I try to keep it cool but end up asking about brown CM ConfusedGrinGrinGrin

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 17:58

Hang out not hand Hmm

Mileymoocow · 11/06/2016 19:10

ever ask anything you like! That's what we're all here for. We've all been through the motions and most of us are now somewhere between 'christ I hope it doesn't get any warmer' and 'if I just constantly nap my due date will come quicker'. It's nice to have someone new bring back all the newly pregnant excitement!!! Not that I'm not excited of course, but it's been a rough ride.

Laurenrl · 11/06/2016 19:53

I really need to stop buying clothes, she's gonna have an outfit every day until Christmas at this rate

(copied from bunch's little hareem pants but I'm not creative enough to make myself!)

PotatosMum · 11/06/2016 19:59

I second Miley, Ever. Most of us are in the boring stage of pregnancy where all we do is moan about being uncomfortable and obsess about wanting to get pregnancy over and done with. Hearing someone go through the early stages where every time you get a slight twinge it's exciting/scary is refreshing. Later on every time you get a twinge you think, oh for god sake what now. Hmm

Sorry so many of us are having shitty hormonal days. I blame the heat and the exhaustion, aches and pains

I'm still feeling uncharacteristically grumpy and upset. I'm finding absolutely everything frustrating and irritating right now and I can't even distract myself as all my crafting stuff has been packed and the kids have taken over the Xbox and I just don't have the mental capacity to do anything that requires me to think. I just feel poo Sad

OP posts:
BunchOfBobs · 11/06/2016 20:15

Layer they're adorable!!

Another one here for ask away Ever.

Had a heart to heart with DH about how I feel (quite hormonal obviously) and how he doesn't do anything for Pip unless asked and even then it's with a sigh. He then proceeded to show me a load of stuff he wants for Pip and we did some online shopping together for the first time. It's nice to know he has been thinking about stuff, shame he hadn't shared it with me until now.

Anyhoo I'm feeling much better. DH is watching the England match and I'm in the bath with a double caramel magnum. NOM! I've also done some of my hypno relaxation exercises which has helped.

Is there any books you enjoy reading to disappear into for a while Potato? Or some baby planning?

BunchOfBobs · 11/06/2016 20:24

Bloody phone. Lauren not layer.

Also got my first nipple leakage yesterday. Only from one but I pronounced gleefully to DH "my boob works!" Grin

Evergreen17 · 11/06/2016 20:46

Thanks Miley, Lauren and potatos
OH watching the match too

So..... Is it normal to feel a bit like if your period was coming? I feel soooo bloated and mild mild cramping down there like tiny needles sometimes ConfusedConfused
