It's time for another TTC#1 grads thread, with an ever increasing population of new arrivals, old hands and veterans we're moving thick and fast.

The first TTC#1 veterans are waddling their way into the third trimester this thread, with the promise of maternity leave to come, getting them through the day.

No subject is taboo, no TMI is too much, bump pictures, baby scans and photos of cute baby stuff are encouraged.

All are welcome so take your place on team blue, pink or vanilla for another TTC#1 grads thread!

Ever so far the house thing has been more infuriating than exciting. We've had no end of drama with the mortgage and unless it gets sorted out soon we may lose our perfect house Sad still, I'm feeling positive and I'm hoping we get the offer early next week.

Bunch glad that helped. Just give yourself time to adjust to the new situation.

Potato is determinedly fidgeting on my bladder and I have to walk around the supermarket where there are no toilets! I think I'm going to cry and possibly pee myself

Will catch up in a bit, but quick scan update first. All fine and we're team pink!

Pancake was flailing about so much that at one point the sonographer stopped, looked at her colleague and said 'wow...this baby's really going for it!'
So so relieved that all is well. Here she is giving a thumbs up! Smile

Ever I had brown spotting after going to the toilet for a number 2..maybe pushed too hardBlushat 8 weeks, I was then put in for an early scan a few days later and everything was fine and I saw my little Beanie and a heart beat. I'm now 22+2 and everything has gone smoothly so far. Don't read too much on Google, it scares the sh*t out of you and no one seems to tell you how common spotting is in the first few weeks.

Bunch I'm sorry to hear about that. If it helps I'm an only child and really close with my mum and I would feel the same, I don't think you're being selfish. I would also feel the same about the visiting situation and I'm sure your DH will understand. Fingers crossed all goes to plan and baby arrives as close to your due date as possible and I'm sure everything will go smoothly with your dad's op.

Cosmo that elephant is amazing, I wish I could sew/knit like some of you

Ever just to echo what others have said re spotting - brown is definitely old and can be caused by any number of things. I also had brown bleeding at 6 weeks and ended up having an early scan just to be on the safe side. Now 21+6 and have a very wriggly and healthy little girl baking away in there. Keep an eye on it, and mention it to your GP/midwife (whoever you see first). Really excited for you though, welcome to the crazy and supremely non-glamorous world of the upduffed!

Bunch how are you feeling now? Totally don't think you're being selfish, it's really rough being backed into a corner with 2 big dates to work around. Fingers crossed Pip will be beautifully punctual for you to help avoid the clash. Sending Flowers for you and also for your dad.

Potato thanks for the list update. Liking the scoreboard! Wonder whether it'll stay this even...
Dare I ask? Any emails?
We're off househunting again tomorrow. Cramming in 7 houses and really hoping one of these will be the winner. They do say 23rd time's the charm, right?!

In other news. Gaaaaah it's hot! My hormonal impulsive holiday booking to Marrakesh in a couple of weeks is now feeling like it might not have been the wisest move. It's currently 37 degrees over there. Eek!!!

Laurenrl · 10/06/2016 18:58

Yay! Congratulations planet was that what you were expecting?

Here's my crazy Friday night! Couldn't be happier right now!

Laurenrl · 10/06/2016 19:09

Crap! Sorry bunch just read back through the day, I'm sorry and completely understand why you're upset, I would be too! Poor you and poor your dad! But at least then he's sorted sooner!

Pinklily1 · 10/06/2016 19:31

Loving the scoreboard Potato! I hadn't realised we had that many Team Vanilla actually - some surprises will be lovely!

Planet, I'm impressed by 7 house viewings in one day!! Are they all in the same area?

We are going to Cyprus next weekend and it's meant to be about 33 degrees. I'll be 30 weeks when we get there. I think I'm going to bake! Are you planning on just a lazy by the pool trip to Marrackech Planet, or sightseeing as well?

Pinklily1 · 10/06/2016 19:33

And Lauren, that looks like a very good Friday night to me Smile I washed my car this morning and my back is now killing me, so have just had a long soak in the bath. Time for dinner now and then maybe some cheeky popcorn later whilst OH watches the football Grin

Mileymoocow · 10/06/2016 19:37

bunch I don't think you sound selfish at all, I'd feel the same. Hope you're feeling a but better Flowers

pink I'm jealous you're off to Cyprus! We're supposed to be going to zante on Sunday. I'm struggling with heat in this country and still really funny about smells and food so I'm certain we made the right choice.

planet yay for team pink and a manically flipping pancake! Did you have a feeling?

Lauren that looks amazing! Enjoy! My little bear doesn't seem to like being hot so I'm avoiding baths for the time being or I just get kicked to ribbons.

Sitting with a cornetto watching the Euros, definitely a big change from last time it was on but I wouldn't change a thing.

PotatosMum · 10/06/2016 19:58

Planet no emails at all. I'm now expecting news early next week... And I'm half expecting that news to be a request for a pint of blood and 3 hairs off OHs left testicle Hmm

Good luck with the house hunt, you are going to be exhausted after running around all those houses but I hope one of them is your perfect home.

Lauren I want your Friday night, can we swap?

I'm busy avoiding the football. OH is just watching the football on catch up, the kids have taken over my living room and my Xbox and I'm sat on the bed trying not to melt. I can't even go get the ice cream as I'll have to share! Shock

Newmrs22 · 10/06/2016 20:23

Hi ladies. Sorry I've been awol again! It's been a manically stressful week and I'm now shattered. On Wednesday had a bit of a scare as realised in the afternoon that I usually feel baby kicking after lunch and then couldn't feel anything and couldn't remember when I'd last felt anything, so took myself hysterically off to hospital. Pretty much as soon as they put the monitor on the little sod thing started kicking it!
The midwife did a measurement of the bump and pronounced that I was measuring 4 weeks behind so referred me for an urgent growth scan the next day. But that was fine too! So lots of worry for nothing. Baby is quite little, but not abnormally so. The measuring thing is apparently not very accurate.

planet congrats!
Bunch. It's understandable you'd be upset. Hopefully everything will work out though.
lauren your Friday looks amazing!

LaraG13 · 10/06/2016 20:36

bunch you're not being selfish at all. I completely understand why you'd be upset by this. Also I'm sure your upset about the dates is as much to do with your feelings about your dad's op and illness in general.

Yay congrats planet!! lillian how did your scan go?

Living the dream there lauren!

Planeteer · 10/06/2016 21:07

Lauren my god, you are totally winning at Friday!!

Pink we've got a nice riad with a pool in Marrakech, so think there will be a fair amount of lazing about going ohgodohgoditshot!!! Would love to do a bit of sightseeing though if we can. We're just there for 3 days, and can't wait for a break from work! Hope you have an amazing time in Cyprus!

Houses tomorrow are in the same town, but will be on foot going between them. Last time we did a day like that we ended up walking 23km, so am preparing for an angry bump tomorrow evening. Bring on the bubble bath!

Potato grrrr to no emails. They're really giving you a roller coaster ride of it. Bastards! Hope you can try and switch your brain off about it this weekend and come back swinging on Monday.

Thanks all for the scan congrats! Am over the moon! Have to say I had got it into my head that Pancake was a boy, so it's a bit of an adjustment to start thinking and saying 'she', but am thrilled!!

mayago · 10/06/2016 21:15

I haven't stopped by here in ages! So much has happened. The parental visit has finished, so I now have more time to breathe and be myself Smile

Congratulations and welcome Ever! And congratulations Planet on team pink! I'm secretly hoping to join you later this summer, but OH would prefer blue...

Bunch that's not an ideal situation, and I can understand why you're upset! I hope everything goes to plan for you, and your dad as well!

Potato you have more patience than I do! I really hope you get your offer soon.

I'm jealous of all the holidays happening in this thread. OH and I don't have anything planned, other than Glastonbury in two weeks. I'll be 12 weeks pregnant by then, and am wondering how I'm going to fare for 5 days in a tent.. No idea how I'll manage without a proper shower- last year was a lot easier as I wasn't a hormonal ball of grease and grump.

I've not been having a great week. Ex-MIL passed away yesterday, and I'm struggling on how to process it. I haven't seen her in a year as her and ex-FIL chose not to be supportive when their son turned out to be an ass and left me for a teenager. We were really close for the previous 8 years or so, and I'm certainly been feeling the loss. The funeral is on Thursday, and I'm hoping to go. I need to figure out how to conceal the pregnancy weight gain as this is the last group of people I want to be sharing my news with!

Having a strop with OH as he's got something weird on his credit file and is now delaying our home purchasing plans. I'm still living on my own during the week, and am not feeling at all good about it.

Had my booking in appointment today. Midwife was really nice, and suggested a home birth! I suppose I'll have to start thinking about birth plans sooner or later. I was expecting more blood to be taken, but I think it was only three vials? 12 week scan is booked for the 28th Grin

Evergreen17 · 10/06/2016 22:03

Haha thanks potato, I was confused about Vanilla Grin
Thanks for that planeteer Smile Very reassuring.

OH brought a pregnancy pack from surgery. So confused. Talks about me completing a scan form and all sorts but I know nothing! I am hoping that my appointment in 2 weeks (6+2 then) is my early appointment and i dont have to have made any decisions by then, and that the booking appointment is later and I can do forms then?

This is so confusing. I thought my first appointment would be to get lots of info Hmm

It is the weekend! Smile

Evergreen17 · 10/06/2016 22:06

Ahhh maya Smile can I ask if you had an appointment prior to your booking appointment? And when?

Home birth is appealing to me Smile

LaraG13 · 10/06/2016 22:26

ever my first appointment/booking in appointment was at 7 weeks. I think it varies from place to place but doesn't really matter too much when you have it because they just take blood and urine sample and talk you through stuff. Also, plenty of people don't know how far along they are so it's not a precise thing.

mayago · 10/06/2016 22:36

ever No, this was my first midwife appointment, at 10+2. I don't think it will matter much if you're not as far along; I think the scan relies on you being further along so they can give you a proper EDD and check on baby's progress. Booking in was just a lot of paperwork, bloods and urine.

I did go to my GP at about 4 weeks to discuss hayfever meds, and to figure out how to book in with a midwife. I waited 6 weeks for this appointment today!

Sodasoda · 10/06/2016 22:37

bunch, I totally understand why you're upset and don't think you're being selfish at all. My parents live up north, I'm in London and my dad is ill so my mum won't be able to come and help much once baby's here and I'm already feeling upset about that Flowers

Congrats on the girls planet

Great scoreboard potato. You're right pink, hadn't realised how many vanilla babies we were having. Glad I'm not the only one! Smile

Looks like a great Friday night Lauren

I've had a nice dinner out with friends and just chilling on sofa for a bit. TMI alert! I had a large dinner and I haven't had a proper poo in days but tonight it's all come out! Not sure whether to be delighted / relieved or alarmed by the amount of poo I've had!! One things for sure - the midwife would be very welcome to weigh me now! Grin

Hooray for the weekend!

leoniethelioness · 11/06/2016 07:39

Up and about ready for my pram delivery Grin
