It's time for another TTC#1 grads thread, with an ever increasing population of new arrivals, old hands and veterans we're moving thick and fast.

The first TTC#1 veterans are waddling their way into the third trimester this thread, with the promise of maternity leave to come, getting them through the day.

No subject is taboo, no TMI is too much, bump pictures, baby scans and photos of cute baby stuff are encouraged.

All are welcome so take your place on team blue, pink or vanilla for another TTC#1 grads thread!

I am so tired but I think maybe I didnt sleep because too excited

How far along are the ladies here? Oh I think I saw a list.... Are those due dates??

LisaTheSimpson · 09/06/2016 08:39

Had a Double Decker in the end.... now I'm craving one this morning.... This is VERY unlike me....

Evergreen17 · 09/06/2016 08:39

Miley how far along are you now?

LisaTheSimpson · 09/06/2016 08:40

Yes, Potato kindly manages the due date list for us.

When do you think you're due? Assume late Jan or early Feb?

BunchOfBobs · 09/06/2016 08:43

Ever yep that's the due date list. You work it out going from your first date of last period. Not sure if you were having regular periods wit being tested for PCOS but if you did state your date and Potato (previously known as Runner) will add you to the list. Failing that you wait for you dating scan at 12 weeks Smile

I'm 30+5. There's a few of us in T3 now which is very exciting. It's so so lovely to have someone in the early stages along again, it's been too long since a TTCer joined us.

Sodasoda · 09/06/2016 09:14

Morning everyone,

Lots of chat on here! Smile

Congrats ever. We don't know each other. I'm 33 and 26+1 with my first - a vanilla baby Smile

Really promising news on mortgage potato, fingers crossed!

Congrats on boy lara!

leonie - do it! It came back really quite quickly. It depends on your relationship with OH but I knew I'd be better having a couple of confidence building lessons with an instructor (in a branded learner car with dual controls!!) before I went out with DH. I've had 3 two-hour lessons plus a driving session with DH. Yesterday's lesson was in our car rather than instructor's and did lots of parking practice. Now just need to continue practicing and hopefully by time baby is here I'll feel a lot better about hopping in the car.

Just an hour and a half wait to see consultant yesterday Angry I came over all dizzy so they sent me off to get checked at assessment unit and they were like "you're just a bit hot and dehydrated". Really? Sitting in a hot waiting room for hours will probably do that to a pregnant woman! Angry

I've got a Doppler study (to make sure baby is getting enough nutrients) and growth scan at 28 weeks so I'll next see consultant after that.

For those asking about maternity leave - my last day in the office is scheduled for when I'll be 38+2 Shock but I'll see how it goes, I may well finish earlier - especially if August is horrendously hot!

Laurenrl · 09/06/2016 09:59

Yay! Welcome evergreen! I was only asking the other day if we had any TTC1ers that were coming over!

I'm 24 weeks today! Cat decided to join in on my bump photo

And I'm taking maternity from 26th Aug when I'll be 35+1 as I have to move halfway across the country once works done!

Canters15 · 09/06/2016 10:07

Awwww congrats ever!!! So lovely, particularly when you've been trying for a little while. My advice is to not stress to much over the guidelines- expecting better by Elizabeth......someone is a really good read if you want to debunk some of the myths.

Guys I'm so jealous of the bumps! Met with a load of colleagues I hadn't seen for weeks at a training say yesterday and let it slip I was almost 17 weeks preg...they couldn't believe it. I definitely have a tummy but it just looks fat and is easily hidden with a loose top.

I'm on annual leave from tomorrow for 5 days!! Whooooopeeeeeee!!!

IrregularCommentary · 09/06/2016 10:07

Ever - I bought "Pregnancy: the whole 9 months" by Mark Woods for DH when I found out I was pregnant. He's been really pleased with it. It's split into months rather than weeks, which he prefers, and it's got a really good conversational style to it and quotes from other expectant dads etc that he likes - proof that what's happening is normal!

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/190541062X/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Miley - very occasionally sick still, but no nausea anymore with it. Just a quick vom and on with the day!

23 weeks today with a bunch of (very kicky!) grapes Smile

Fucking huge atm though. Struggled to get my socks on this morning...

StarkyTheDirewolf · 09/06/2016 10:12

Am exitedly waiting for Sidney from dps to arrive with my maternity clothes parcel! Please keep fingers crossed that some things fit! I did a new look order in the end as my sisters best friend (very preggers) recommended them as a start point. And we're going on our jolly holidays to north Wales tomorrow so I need a one things to fit! And there's a new look down the road from where we're going so push come to shove I can return/do a click and collect from there! Grin No bump still, just water retention/bloat I think! But I've spread! I need new knickers before my ones cut the circulation to my legs off!

Fingers crossed on the mortgage potato you did exceedingly well not to chin her!

BunchOfBobs · 09/06/2016 10:34

Are you stalking* Sidney on the map starky* I love dpd for that.

Where about in North Wales are you headed? I lived there for 5 years up until 19 months ago. I miss it muchly.

Lauren love the bump, cat so does not look impressed Grin

I had the dog in the cot again this morning. He's going to be a handful.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 09/06/2016 10:43

I am bunch he's on delivery number 34 and I'm number 46! We're heading up towards Rhoscolyn, we went last year and the house is beautiful! I love it! I've always loved north Wales.

Oh God, I've just clearly had some kind of hormonal surge, I looked at dh who's asleep thought how lucky I am to really love Wales and I've married a Welsh man wotj a lovely welsh accent and nearly started crying! What in the holy fuckballs is THAT all about!?

Laurenrl · 09/06/2016 10:47

Haha stark that's hilarious! I never cry yet yesterday I cried because my boyfriend brought me a drink and I hadn't asked but really wanted one.... So weird! Even I don't wanna be around me when the hormones are out in full force

BunchOfBobs · 09/06/2016 11:05

Starky welcome to the crying for ridiculous reasons bit. I cried because DH hadn't filled the ice trays the other day. Back in the early days I cried because and I quote "I'm such a horrible wife, I don't cook and I only do laundry". DH laughed a lot at that one. I also cried because I quit my job (over a year previous to the crying) and he "must hate me for it". He then reminded me we had to move over 2 hours away for his job and the commute wasn't possible and reminded me I had been working self employed just once I got pregnant all things dried up. At least you're crying about nice things.
I cried at hypno on Tuesday because the teacher gave us verses to read to bump and I got overcome BlushI love hormones.

Anyone else had nesting kick in yet? I haven't really been able to sit still for the last 2 weeks as I always need to do something. When people are here it's mostly cleaning up after them that I can't stop. When I'm alone it's baby stuff. I'm constantly in the nursery looking around to find SOMETHING to do.

Mileymoocow · 09/06/2016 11:18

bunch I was literally just about to ask the same thing! I'm constantly cleaning/washing everything the past few days, I'm getting unbearable. I even pulled all the covers off the sofa and chairs today to clean them right down and have the carpet cleaner out. Been told to sit down in the garden as I started getting slightly faint when I was hoovering the stairs.

ever I'm 22+5 today, it has flown over.

Feeling better I'm not the only one the sickness is dragging on for! starts singing we're all in this together! the nausea is still with me every day but not as bad at all.

Off to buy some bbq goodies for dinner as the sun has made a scorching appearance

Mileymoocow · 09/06/2016 11:20

canters it will appear overnight Wink I had absolutely nothing until I was about 20 weeks apart from bloating in the evening. I woke up one day and OH was very excited that I'd started to look pregnant. 3 weeks later and I feel huge

StarkyTheDirewolf · 09/06/2016 11:36

All has arrived and all is well, although I over estimated what size jeans to have gone for. And bloody hell, preggie leggings!? They're 100 metres long! I could wear them like I was a snake! Grin

Aww miley I want bbq stuff now! I've got the options of rice or fish fingers. Hmmm. Choices!

Planeteer · 09/06/2016 12:22

Fish finger sarnies, stark, food of the gods!

LaraG13 · 09/06/2016 12:26

Thanks everyone for my welcome to team blue. I'm feeling really excited about it now.

yay ever!! Welcome! Brilliant to see you here! I'm 20+1 so halfway there. Very excited you've joined us.

potato I'm pleased there's still hope from this mortgage company. Everything crossed for you.

I'm interested in all the sling talk. I've been passed down a couple of slings but really need to do some reading. OH is refusing to use a sling but I haven't been able to ascertain why yet.

Bump is looking beautiful lauren

miley I still feel nauseous for at least an hour or two most days and am sick once or twice a week. Miles better than it was but I still feel sorry for myself!

PotatosMum · 09/06/2016 12:37

Pink thanks for the heads up about H&M maternity. I shall try to have a look in there at the weekend.

Bunch you might have to have a word with the dog and explain that he's not the baby of the family any more Wink

I wish the nesting instinct had kicked in for me... My flat looks like a bomb hit it!

Ever congrats and welcome. What's your EDD so that I can add you to the list Smile

I was previously Runner but I can't remember if we were on TTC at the same time. I'm 34 and 28+5 with a little girl currently called Potato to my DSDs disgust

For books I did read what to expect but it was horrible. Really cutsey and full of baby dust and that kind of stuff. I wanted to throw it across the room most of the time but the info in it is good. For baby I'm reading first time parent which I'm finding really good and sensible.
Most of us either use Ovia Pregnancy or Pregnancy+ app or a mix of both. Pregnancy+ is brilliant for articles, information and visuals so well worth it. I was a little disappointed by Ovia Pregnancy but the weekly articles are good.

Miley I don't get sick but I get nauseous quite easily.

Soda sorry you had another epic consultant wait yesterday Sad

Canters yay! For holiday!!! Smile
Don't envy the bump! These things are heavy, getting out of bed or off the floor is like an Olympic sport at the moment!

Irregular yay! for 23 weeks Smile

Lauren lovely bump Smile

I'm another one obsessed with sugar. I would happily sit and eat end to end sugary junk food Blush

I can't remember who asked but my maternity leave starts on 1st August when I'm 32 weeks but I've got 4 weeks holiday before that so I finish in two weeks time Grin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 09/06/2016 13:21

That's what I wanted planet fish finger butty with butter and red sauce. But we didn't have any bread so I found some chicken nuggets and had those instead! Grin

PotatosMum · 09/06/2016 14:01

I do not know what Potato is doing today but it feels like she's trying to solve a rubix cube Confused

OP posts:
BunchOfBobs · 09/06/2016 14:11

Haha potato. Pip I think is practising his stomp routine.

I'm not coping with the best at all today.

PotatosMum · 09/06/2016 14:40

Lol Bunch Grin

I don't think Potato has room to kick anymore and I only really feel things at the bottom of my uterus where her head and arms are.

I'm not dealing with the heat either. I was ok this morning but this afternoon I'm wilting!!!

OP posts:
BunchOfBobs · 09/06/2016 14:59

DH is a genius. He's away at the mo so I text him wailing about my heat dilemma and the room fan being in the loft room, a.k.a the furnace and up 2 flights of stairs. He reminded me of my hospital bag stash. Knew I married that man for a reason Grin
