Yes fish is rather off putting to cook, I've got a huge shop ring delivered this morning and I bought chicken Kiev's, what madness is this, they stink. I'll be pegging my nose when cooking those beasts.
Have a safe trip and try and get some rest (I know it will be hard with a DC in tow)

I thought I'd turned a corner with my sickness, but yesterday I bought up the super noodles I snacked on, a particularly long one came out of my nose, I think that's put me off them for life! Envy

weechops · 04/06/2016 07:37

My bump is getting hard to hide and I'm only 11 weeks! I think being baby #4 I just have no stomach muscles left Grin I took a photo yesterday, I'll see if I can attach it.

weechops · 04/06/2016 07:38

Aw bigfam you poor thing. That'd definitely put me off noodles for life!

lilydaisyrose · 04/06/2016 07:39

I bought a (horrible - didn't eat much of it) curry from Asda last night and went to bed early without cleaning up in the kitchen as I was shattered. It bloody stinks this morning and I am cross with myself - it's in the serving dish, on the plate, on the serving spoon, on the cutlery, on the floor where the cat has been attempting to lick the crockery and knocked things off the kitchen sides and the remains are in our food waste bin. A ready meal shouldn't be so much work to clear up and it wasn't even tasty! I can't face it.

fiddlesticks123 · 04/06/2016 07:46

weechops your bump is so neat and cute!!!

Second trimester for some of us now! Mine started today!!! Celebrating with some friends over for the weekend so won't be very chatty but hope everyone has a lovely one x

StubbleTurnips · 04/06/2016 08:02

YY to the smells at home making you gag, DDog is spending a lot of time outside as the kitchen reeks of her and it's making me vom. Also the nursery smell on DD isn't great. Sympathies bumble and others.

I'll be sick til 32 weeks now if it's anything like last time Envy

Angshore · 04/06/2016 09:03

Tinysalmon how are you feeling? My sickness had tailed off a bit but I'm feeling really sick again this morning! Any signs of a little bump yet? When is your 12 week scan?

That is such a lovely thing for your friend to come up with about her little boy, I would never have thought of it that way! I'm going to make sure this little one knows all about their big bro!

Xx

Wow these threads move fast. Not sure I even managed to post on the last one.

We've been away worth family for most of the week which dd loved. I'm loving being home and able to collapse in bed with bad TV after she is in bed.

All the scan pictures are amazing - feels like ages until mine on the 17th!

Still feeling sick a lot of the time but being sick less which is good. Must be putting on so much weight as all I can eat is carbs.

TinySalmon · 04/06/2016 09:36

angshore much better today :) yesterday was sick twice by this hour of the morning already.

Have my scan on Monday! Eep! Very excited. I think we are due date buddies?

No visible bump yet, except an extra layer of fat with all the food I've been eating. Still fit in to my jeans and was out for lunch with some girlfriends yesterday who reassured me they couldn't tell I was pregnant (maybe they were just being nice..)

Really worried about my weight/shape as I've already put on 2kg. Have got the Vitamix blender out and trying to get back in to the habit of fruit & protein shakes for breakfast but the call of French toast and pancakes swimming in butter is sometimes too strong!!

Hanch99 · 04/06/2016 09:41

Hi Guys. I have my scan on Monday. I'm feeling incredibly anxious about it. I think mainly because two of my close friends had missed miscarriages. I attempted to book an early scan this morning but in this area they don't do them on weekends. Anyone else feel this anxious in the lead up to scan? I haven't quite lost my symptoms yet but they are up and down, some days are worst than others (breast tenderness, nausea and tiredness).

TinySalmon · 04/06/2016 10:20

hanch I don't think I'll not be nervous until I deliver a healthy baby!

We are telling DSS today. Very excited to see and hear his reaction. He's 12 now so don't think he'll show that much emotion haha

OrianaBanana · 04/06/2016 10:48

Scan today, it was amazing to see the little thing jumping and waving his/her arms (I had a look at the 'nub' (not visible in this pic) and if you believe in such things it looks like another boy, but obvs can't tell really). NF was 1.3mm so that's a bit reassuring now waiting for blood results.

I've been put back two days so EDD now 16th Dec. GrinGrin

Yes I have my good and bad days with the sickness! It's worth it though and is reassuring to me.

I no longer fit in my jeans but I havnt actually put any weight on which is strange? Wondering whether I'm still just bloated at the minute!

It certainly lay sounds like we are due date buddies!! I have my 12 week scan on tues! I'm excited but nervous!

I'm trying to eat healthy but Iv felt so sick that to be honest Iv just been eating anything that I fancy!

Xx

It's really hot in Ireland at the moment and we're having a bar-b-q later so I threw on a dress I last wore on Mother's Day. It's at least 2 sizes too small across the chest!! I've put on a sports bra to camouflage and it's just family but it's obvious to me how things have changed!

Hannahcarp27 · 04/06/2016 12:26

Hanch I'm feeling exactly the same my scan is on Tuesday. I've also had friends have missed miscarriage recently so am super worried as didn't know this even existed before then!! Even though I had a early scan a few weeks ago which was fine I still feel super anxious. Also trying to not get too excited till I have the scan and know all is ok!! Think best thing is too keep busy till Monday not too much longer to wait now Smile

peanutbutter2409 · 04/06/2016 12:47

Hey ladies, I haven't posted in ages - lovely to see all the scan pics! Sorry for those still suffering with sickness. I'm 14 weeks today and my sickness is massively better - now moved on to heartburn instead! Saw an osteopath for my SPD this week and she said I will definitely be on crutches at some point and I'm really pissed off about this. I was so focused on just getting through the first 12 weeks & getting past the sickness so that I could then start exercising and getting things done round the house. But I can barely walk at the moment and have been banned from housework, gardening etc etc. Sorry for the pity party but I just hate sitting (lying) down all day of an evening and weekend.

SolomanDaisy · 04/06/2016 14:58

Peanut, I don't think you can tell for certain how much worse it will get. I was on crutches soon after 20 weeks last time, but my SPD didn't get any worse after that. In fact it eased up a bit when the baby engaged later on.

SolomanDaisy · 04/06/2016 15:03

Also, I was able to do both aqua natal and modified pregnancy yoga throughout. Aqua natal is brilliant for spd!

Whatafrickennightmare · 04/06/2016 15:09

Checking in ! Scan on the 20 th June . 10 weeks today :) sickness has gone still avoiding alot of foods tho I have almost turned veggy!the thought of meat makes me wanna spew!

Thisisbonkers · 04/06/2016 18:33

Oh god, it's started already. My MiL's cousin has knitted us a pram blanket. What the hell is a pram blanket?!

I've been gardening today, strimmed the jungle (Blush) and cut the front hedges. I'm exhausted! Just ordered a pizza, probably can't eat it though!

TipBoov · 04/06/2016 18:42

A pram blanket is a square blanket I think, small enough so it covers baby without dragging on the floor! That's really sweet that she's knitted you one. We had a lovely cardigan knitted by a distant relative for DS1, it was lovely that someone took the time to do it.

I think I've got early signs of SPD, it wasn't this early last time Sad

Thisisbonkers · 04/06/2016 19:12

You're right, I just hate any kind of fuss and the control freak in me (I'm not going to be a momzilla, I promise!) wants to use things that I've bought/chosen. But it is people being kind.

I hope the spd isn't too bad Sad

lilydaisyrose · 04/06/2016 19:34

Aw bonkers, really? People love to make and give things to new babies! I make patchwork cot quilts for my close friends and family. I think it's kind and well meant.

Thisisbonkers · 04/06/2016 19:47

It definitely is and I know it's me who needs my head shaking!
