I meant to ask the midwife about carrying on taking the 5mg folic acid today, but I forgot. I think I've probably got about a month left, so will just keep taking them. Heard the heartbeat again, it's so nice!

underrugsswept · 14/06/2016 16:46

I'm still taking my multi-vits. I figure I need all the help I can get with my energy levels!

Brisgirl · 14/06/2016 17:52

Yes to headaches all the time theaks - my migraines have really upped their game although I seem to remember this happening last time round as well and I went to see the GP as paracetamol just wasn't cutting it. She predicted they would disappear by around 20 weeks which they did and I didn't have a single one for the rest of my pregnancy. Can't wait!

SouthDownsSunshine · 14/06/2016 20:20

I'm still taking my vitamins. But my diet is still awful!

becciandbump · 14/06/2016 20:48

My diet is still awful too it's whatever is easiest to cook. I'm hoping to get back to my usual healthy eating in the next few weeks feel so guilty for what ive been feeding baby the only goodness has been the multivitamins :(

Hi everyone. I've had a pain in my right side for past few hours. It's bearable, what could it be!

HannahJH · 14/06/2016 21:31

Feel exactly the same about the horrendous eating, thank goodness for multi vitamins!!
The idea of cloth nappies seems a bit scary to me, had a bit of a google earlier and I think I've ruled it out?! X

SolomanDaisy · 14/06/2016 21:35

Whereabouts is it Nojo? Could it be heartburn?

My eating has improved over the past few weeks as my name has cleared up. Less carb obsessed.

SolomanDaisy · 14/06/2016 21:36

Nausea, not name. The Kindle has the worst auto correct.

Nojo82 · 14/06/2016 21:49

SolomonDaisy it's in my lower stomach. Around my groin area.

SolomanDaisy · 14/06/2016 21:52

Maybe round ligament pain?

Nojo82 · 14/06/2016 21:59

It says on Google that that shouldn't last any longer than a few mins... I've had it from around 7pm. I've just went to lie down and the pain is stronger. This is my 4th, I've never had this.

Thisisbonkers · 14/06/2016 22:07

Going slightly off topic, but I have to bake a cake this week. Given I buy free range eggs and they have the lion stamp whatsit on them, can I really not lick the bowl out? It's the best bit Blush

Nuttypops · 14/06/2016 22:17

Looseylou, I think I have managed to PM you, I hope so anyway! Thanks.

TinySalmon · 15/06/2016 05:53

bonkers I licked the entire bowl of a chocolate cake batter I made the other day and then didn't realise until afterwards about the raw egg thing! I think you'll be fine but if you are very worried then err on the side of caution x

underrugsswept · 15/06/2016 05:57

Bonkers I avoided all runny eggs last time but this time as long as they're lion stamped I haven't - soft boiled eggs, cake batter, poached eggs... Mmmmmm.

barkingtreefrog · 15/06/2016 06:16

theaks and bris I am really struggling with the headaches. The migraine that started on Sunday and lasted all of Monday only left late afternoon yesterday. Then I woke up at 2am this morning with a really bad headache again, really painful. Not as bad now but still there. Paracetamol is doing nothing. I've booked myself some acupuncture tomorrow as my email early hours googling suggests that's a possible help.

Dreams. Well. Last night I went for a scan and I'm not carrying a baby, it's a bird Hmm. Went for a second opinion and actually there was a tree in there Confused.

I would like to think I could do cloth nappies. Someone recently spotted a really good offer to buy a whole set of everything you need for half price, but I'm still too scared to buy anything. I will start keeping my eye out though.

Essybird · 15/06/2016 06:38

barking that is one of the funniest dreams I've read about in a long while Grin

Ditto here too, headaches. Maybe they will prepare us for the teenage years.. You know, headaches with teens..? Nevermind. I need a coffee I think.

weechops · 15/06/2016 08:03

nojo I hope you're feeling better now. I was going to suggest trapped wind/constipation. I tend to get a stabby/achey pain on one side with trapped wind.

My dh is coming home today!!!! Haven't seen him since he got me pregnant 😂

Nojo82 · 15/06/2016 08:09

Woke up with the pain. Phoned midwife, was told to leave it a few hours to see how it goes. Not constipated and have been passing wind. Hopefully it will go soon..

SolomanDaisy · 15/06/2016 08:34

I'm going to have lion stamped eggs when I'm back in the UK in the summer! I can't wait for a soft poached egg.

Nojo, what do you have to do if the pain doesn't go?

SteffiMuse · 15/06/2016 08:35

Nojo I'm sure everything is fine. But if you're concerned later then phone midwife back.

I'm still bleeding. Has been two weeks now so have another scan today.

Nojo82 · 15/06/2016 08:40

They said to take paracetamol and if the pain doesn't go in a few hours then to ring them back. Pain went for a while but now it's back as bad. Can hardly walk now..

SteffiMuse · 15/06/2016 09:10

Nojo if it's that bad then phone them back now. You shouldn't have to wait around. Sending you my love

SolomanDaisy · 15/06/2016 09:39

I agree Nojo, you've had the pain since last night and it hasn't gone, if you can't walk you need to be seen.
