No thanks to FB, I can be open on here. FB not so much.

Essybird · 12/06/2016 14:27

No thanks to FB.. All mum things to be kept on mumsnet Smile

SouthDownsSunshine · 12/06/2016 14:32

Dug out my maternity dresses for work, and they've not lasted as well as I'd hoped. I'm a size bigger, and they show the effect of having been worn in rotation for months! Having a look for some nice dresses now - has anyone seen any affordable dresses that would be suitable for work?

underrugsswept · 12/06/2016 14:59

I'm not keen on FB either so will stay here with the fellow anonymous ladies Grin

TipBoov · 12/06/2016 15:04

No thanks to Facebook from me.. I keep MN and real life very separate! I haven't even posted any of the scan pics on here incase someone spots them!

I'm not open IRL about the IVF etc so definitely want to keep MN and FB separate.

TipBoov · 12/06/2016 15:05

South New Look and Red Herring are great for work, but can be low cut so I wear a vest/Cami with them.

Also Mamalicious have some nice dresses around £30. I bought one from John Lewis but I think there are a few stockists.

Essybird · 12/06/2016 16:20

Asos has quite a few maternity dresses on sale in the outlet section.. Nice fitted ones that would be good for work. Picked one up for £6 yesterday!

Looseyloo411 · 12/06/2016 16:43

I'm more than happy to set it up, I would just need to add a couple of people as friends to get it up as a group... Anyone want to pm me there name and rough profile pic to look for and il sort it out Grin

Looseyloo411 · 12/06/2016 16:46

I have just looked.. I have no idea how to access messages but pretty sure they have them?

Looseyloo411 · 12/06/2016 16:58

I have messaged a few of you that wanted to join with my name and profile pic 😘

weechops · 12/06/2016 17:09

I just pm'd you loosey

Bigfam · 12/06/2016 17:13

I'll stick to mn only as well.
I'm planning on booking a 4d scan, I think all my other children will love seeing their new brother/sister on a DVD, even my 16month old, she's already lifting my top and saying 'mummy baby' and kissing my belly!

Dentist didn't go well today at all, I'm actually devastated, after paying so much for cosmetic work at the beginning of march, I've now found out the rest of my teeth are basically ruined, from Tuesday I'll be having multiple fillings :,(

puppythedog · 12/06/2016 17:26

We're game for Facebook. On our last thread a group was started and once mumsnet members had joined the group it was set to unfindable and private.

Looseyloo411 · 12/06/2016 17:35

anyone that hasn't and wants to join the Facebook group feel free to pm me and il message you details xx

barkingtreefrog · 12/06/2016 17:55

I've pm'd you Loosey Smile

Just nursing yet another headache. It's a really fine line between drinking enough water all through the day to hold them off, and drinking so much water I feel sick Sad.

Not looking forward to another week at work as time seems to have slowed down recently. I just want to get to the 20w scan now!

FluffyPickleMonster · 12/06/2016 18:01

Loosey is the FB group private? As in, if I join will my friends be able to see what I've joined?

Looseyloo411 · 12/06/2016 18:04

Fluffypicklemonster, its private and once everyone has joined il set it back to private.

I can send you the link?

barkingtreefrog · 12/06/2016 18:12

loosey at the moment the group is closed, not private. Anyone can see the group (not the posts) and see who is in it. As very few know I'm pregnant I don't want to join unless it's secret, even though that might sound totally irrational!
My infertility group have a secret Facebook group, the admins just add people to it who want to join. This way you don't have to make the group open to everyone to see.

firawla · 12/06/2016 18:22

Ill pm you too about the FB group loosey

SouthDownsSunshine · 12/06/2016 18:25

Well done looseyloo on the fb group.

Thanks tipboov for the mamalicious suggestion, I've ordered a few from John Lewis which should arrive tomorrow.

I am feeling dreadful again this afternoon. I had planned to work in London tomorrow and Tuesday, but I can't imagine doing so now. I'm going to have to work from home tomorrow I think, and I'll ask for a note from my GP so I don't get in trouble with work. No idea how I'm supposed to commute whilst being this sick still - and I'd have meetings all day so no chance to eat, increasing the chances of me being sick. I'm a bit gutted as I'd hoped to be back fully after my holiday. Kicking myself for not getting anti-nausea pills, no point at 15 weeks!

cnchapmanxx · 12/06/2016 18:47

loosey I've pmed you! Xx

Looseyloo411 · 12/06/2016 18:53

Groups back to secret Smile

Eskerina81 · 12/06/2016 19:07

becciandbump · 12/06/2016 19:22
