Just to add to my misery today ds has threadworms, no doubt dd will get it too, apparently I can't take anything either will have to have a itchy butt if I get it! My stomach isn't strong enough for this

Scans Wednesday, I haven't really thought about it, I have been so busy feeling sorry for myself

Best of luck to those with scans today! Hope all's well, and sorry to hear that some are suffering with SPD and sickness, pregnancy can be tough, huh!? The sickness is dying down for me now thankfully.

I'm really struggling to remember the name of the pillow I had with DTs but it was amazing - I'll try and find it! It was like a very long sausage with a concealed zip all along the side and it could convert into a breastfeeding pillow and also a doughnut to put the baby. I'm really wishing I hadn't given so much stuff away over the last few years now.

I'm 'working from home' at GOSH with DT1 and therefore I'm getting very little done, I'm not sure who I'm kidding really!

Mine is 0830 so don't have to go to work before which has made me happy. After thinking my symptoms had died down I awoke to feeling sick as a dog this morning!!

Had my scan this morning, baby all fine - except a little awkward for the sonographer and not wanting to move in the right direction! If it's anything like its big sister awkwardness will continue apace.

Due date changed to 16th Dec which is good!

Had a very long lecture from the midwife about my bmi and that I should join slimming world now (!) So that was fun.

Can't believe how many scans there are over the next couple of days!! My tummy flips over everytime I think about it but at least it's 9.30am so gets it done pretty quick!! How is everyone else feeling?
I feel more sick again too, maybe our nerves are contributing xx

Due date changed to the 16th December

Mine is tomorrow too, 10.15. Luckily dh booked the morning off and can come too, really looking forward to it but nervous about parking in the hospital car park! Only passed test about a week ago and dh's car is massive! Letter from hospital warned to leave loads of extra time to park as apparently it's a nightmare, so hope that doesn't cause me too much stress

Afternoon all! It really is scan central this week isn't it? Just out of interest, how many of you have had significant changes to your due date from the scan? I know it's terrible but I'm praying for them to put me ahead by a week, I would really really love a happy healthy baby in time for Christmas! Ive been in with the consultant this morning and no major issues, back to hospital Thursday for scan. How many of you are having the Down's testing also? Sorry for all the questions

Welcome to all the new posters and congrats on all the healthy scans!

Bit random but can anyone recommend any maternity tights? I need to wear tights at work but my usual ones are so uncomfortable, they're cutting into my potbelly.

Grapefruit8 I'm almost positive my due date will be moved (back) at my scan tomorrow, knowing my luck I'll end up bring due beginning of Jan! (17th of Dec at the moment)
Watch this space, my apts at 8.50 so I'll let you know early if it's moved a lot

Grapefruit my scan put me 4 days ahead of my original due date (which is why my due date is now in November when originally I was due an early December baby). I wasn't massively surprised though as I got my BFP 4 days before my period was due which seemed quite early. I know it's a bit annoying but regardless of their due date the thing about babies is they are unpredictable, and due dates don't really mean a lot. A friend of ours had her baby last week 5 weeks early! Alternatively I know a lot of people who have gone a week or two late. My DD1 was born nearly a week early which caught me a bit off guard after 9 months of everyone telling me that first babies are always late!

Starting to really wonder about the sex of DC2 now. We have literally bags and bags of DD's clothes in the house and I really want to know now if it's worth keeping them or if I can start to have a clear out. 5 and a half weeks until our 20 week scan when we can (hopefully - baby co-operating!) find out!

On exciting news we're off to Spain for a week on Thursday. I can't wait! Plus I have 2 weeks booked off work starting today and it's just lovely to chill in the house without all the work stress playing on my mind.

Yep, these babies will stay put til they decide they're ready. My 1st was born at 37weeks my 2nd 38weeks 3rd 39weeks and 4th hung on in there til 39+3, I was just getting ready to write her an eviction notice

Question, anywhere know where I can get maternity trousers/jeans cheapy but long leg. Dorothy Perkins have 24% off, but they don't state a leg length so I'm guessing they will be too short for me. Fancy heading out tonight to try and find something. Running low on the clothes front.

underrugswept I found Boots maternity tights to be the best last time. Much better than the v expensive Seraphine ones I treated myself to which kept rolling down!

M&S maternity tights were good for me last time, but I did found they slipped down before I had a 'proper bump' (and after, when I kept trying to wear them...)

Asda maternity tights are surprisingly good! They don't fall down and are really comfy. Also a bargain at £3 a pair.

Avoid Mothercare's - they keep falling down at the crotch

theaks & Hannah I can't find any longer length ones either. Topshop do different lengths but their long are too short and their tall are too long for me! Also, they're all skinny jeans which isn't going to work for me

I had dd in Holland and had no problem finding longer lengths! I think I'm going to have to resort to zalando.co.UK which is the UK version of a Dutch site I think.

Grapefruit My original due date by last period was 17th December and then at my scan they moved it forward to 12th December. Also I opted to have the combined screening for downs so still waiting for my blood test results to come back.
