Since we only have about 15 posts remaining I thought I'd make up the new one.

Lots of babies have arrived already but still plenty of us pregnant too. Here's to our June 2016 babies Smile

Congratulations to all the new mums and their lovely bundles of joy! ....Sorry I've been MIA for a while..... Good luck to all those in labour and those waiting for labour to start.

I am due tomorrow but wee bubba doesn't seem to be in a hurry to make an appearance Hmm! Hopefully (s)he'll give me a pleasant surprise before the weekend ☺!

Day 2 of maternity leave and I don't know what to do with myself Blush

divergent have a nap and read a novel! You won't be doing either for ages!

Congrats babysocks! Hurrah for June babies in June!!

dollydaydream84 · 02/06/2016 08:45

Great news BabySocks and so great to hear the ELCS was calm! Makes me feel a lot happier :) Enjoy these first few precious days xxx

cautiousoptimist1 · 02/06/2016 09:07

Congratulations babysocks, glad you're both doing so well. Hope you manage to get home today as planned.

iam I'm on day 3 and also been finding it pretty slow. I have my 38 week appointment today so going into town and will do a few bits while I'm there (hopefully sorting Father's Day presents!) and I'm going for a late lunch with my SIL. Reading is a good idea though, I have a magazine subscription and haven't opened this months as I was saving it for my hospital bag but I'm sure I've got a novel I meant to start a while ago.

emma85x · 02/06/2016 10:29

I'm bored to! Back in John Lewis... Again! I swear I now know where every baby item is!! I'm getting my nails done this afternoon, re-reading my Hypnobirthing book and then out for a spicy Thai with my NCT group tonight. Just been to mw appointment and head is engaged but not fully. I wonder if that means he won't be here soon??

Cartooner · 02/06/2016 11:55

I have to say i don't think head down means much, 4th pregnancy here and head is well down and I have yet to go before my due date...

Welcome baby Libby, great name

MagicDucky · 02/06/2016 12:43

I've lost ALL energy. I'm SO SO SOO tired all the time. And it's only going to get worse! Confused I'm currently getting my orders to rub DD's back, shouldn't it be me getting the back rub?

JulieBolton79 · 02/06/2016 13:36

Baby Corben James was born yesterday at 10:05am via water birth weighing 6lb 9oz at 39wks 1 day. Managed with Diamorphine and G&A and laboured 13.5hrs total from 1st contraction. We are both doing well and I'm completely in love. Congrats to all the new mummies too and I was only partially engaged at appointment a week before he was born and that means nothing lol X

Congratulations Julie he's lovely Smile

dollydaydream84 · 02/06/2016 14:06

MagicDucky - definitely you should be requesting the back rub!!!

Julie aww huge congratulations, lovely name! He is lovely! Enjoy your special time with him!

nehagarg · 02/06/2016 14:30

Congratulations Julie. He's gorgeous! Smile

Dolly I went for an ELCS after 2 failed inductions. Refused a 3rd attempt and I know exactly how you feel. I really wanted someone to make the decision for me too. Just didnt know which was the better option so couldnt decide. Everyone on here helped loads and I ended up choosing an ELCS. It was very chilled (as mrsmugoo put it) and other than a bit of nausea in the first few hours both Rishi and me had no issues. I was standing and going to the loo within 12 hours and was home in 2 days. I wouldnt think twice about doing the ELCS if you are leaning towards that.

iamdivergent · 02/06/2016 14:44

Congratulations julie Corben is lovely x

Congrats on the new babies. Coming so fast now!!
I am so fed up of early morning waking.... Another day of waking before 5am and unable to get back to sleep. Problem is I can't get to sleep if I go to bed early so I'm getting about 5 hours a night..... Definitely not enough!!!

How is everyone else coping?

MindfulBear · 02/06/2016 15:14

Btw have also woken up today feeling wired... Anxious. Anyone else had this? Any idea what it could be & how to resolve it?
This is DC2 and I'm 37 weeks. (& in the office right now so taking a nap is not an option!)

iamdivergent · 02/06/2016 15:45

mindful I don't remember feeling half as anxious with my previous two but I really am this time around!

I'm a hot sweaty mess today 😣 just can't keep cool. Plus more BH to go along with it! Keep telling myself I've not long to go but then I piss myself off by saying but it could be another fortnight on top of that Angry

laughingGnomette · 02/06/2016 17:05

Julie - huge congratulations!! What a sweet boy, great birth by the sound of things too x

Mindful - same here, my normal wake up for the day is 4ish :(

nehagarg - how is Rishi getting on?

Just found out that my ELCS has been moved forward to the 16th (due to lack of surgeons on the 17th). Eeek! One day less for baby to arrive by himself, but also means that this time in two weeks I'm guaranteed (all going well of course) to have a baby in my arms! Shock

LouLou030783 · 02/06/2016 17:17

Congratulations Julie he's gorgeous

cautiousoptimist1 · 02/06/2016 17:26

Congratulations julie, he's lovely.

Well I had to go and make plans didn't I?! I was meant to have nice tapas lunch with my SIL after the docs today and my bp was up again so she referred me straight to the hospital! I went on the monitors for 15 mins and baby is fine, bp eventually settled so they've let me home with advice to call the mw if anything changes. I've felt fine though, a little lightheaded and sick this morning but nothing serious and it settled once I ate something.

earlgreydrinker · 02/06/2016 19:52

Congratulations julie and baby!

Well that's me done at work. I left and my office was a mess. It was more important to take my staff out for brunch Grin. So now I'm on the sofa with chocolates and a crappy book. Roll on maternity leave - baby can come anytime. I hate the waiting game!

cautiousoptimist1 · 02/06/2016 20:53

laughing 16/6/16 is a cool date though!

earlgrey how lovely that you prioritised a team brunch. Your office will sort itself I'm sure!

iamdivergent · 02/06/2016 20:56

TMI but been having snotty discharge all day, show? No blood, just kind of white/green.

Congratulations julie!!! What a gorgeous wee chap!!
I'd love a water birth, but it's either home or water for me, no room for a pool at home, som I'm hoping for home.
Eek laughing re the new date- although it is a really ace date. I was hoping for 1/6/16, don't think I really want to hold out for 16/6/16 though (due on the 10th...)
Aw cautious blinking BP! The best laid plans...
