Since we only have about 15 posts remaining I thought I'd make up the new one.

Lots of babies have arrived already but still plenty of us pregnant too. Here's to our June 2016 babies Smile

No swollen feel Dolly but swollen, ahem, down there Blush
Don't remember that happening before but it's quite spectacular! And uncomfortable. Anyone else have a swollen fanjo ? Confused

lovelilies · 30/05/2016 19:38

*feet!

Spock27 · 30/05/2016 19:59

loulou definitely big enough! In triage last night there was a lady literally crawling through the doors screaming in pain, I think DH could see the fear on my face as he started trying to distract me!
Ilove glad I'm not the only one with a monster growing inside! They haven't mentioned induction except if the movements reduce again so I'm assuming so. Going to have a sweep at my 40 week appointment next Thursday though. Are you going for induction or cs?

Dolly I've had swollen hands and feet and find cold water or ice helps a lot. Putting them up as well is important and make sure you're drinking enough water. Hope they go down soon, it's not pleasant is it!

Cartooner · 30/05/2016 20:00

Yea lol it does feel a bit mad, I noticed that!

Thanks for the kind words on the worst mother day. I have calmed down a bit helped by eating three chocolate bars in a row. Tomorrow is another day etc.

dollydaydream84 · 30/05/2016 20:34

Thanks all! Feet up with ice. So annoying having trotters!!

lovelillies no swollen lady bits (yet!) but others were taking of that glamorous pregnancy symptom on the last thread I think

LouLou030783 · 30/05/2016 20:49

Lovelillies some days have a swollen lady bit

Aww Spock not good when u see someone like that

cautiousoptimist1 · 30/05/2016 20:54

Welcome and congratulations coldest.

Thank you magic and dolly, I have ordered a mattress cover now, probably a good idea to have one anyway with a new baby. I'm sure I'm just overthinking things - finished work now and already have too much time on my hands!

dolly yes I've also had swollen feet (well normally only one which makes shoes a nightmare and leads to blisters on the swollen foot!) but keeping them higher than my heart overnight seems to help - I have 3 pillows for my feet and 2 for my head! Not sure it helps with the heartburn though!

mrsmugoo · 30/05/2016 21:00

Waves to Coldest!

Billi77 · 31/05/2016 01:26

Hello joining in at 36 weeks. Anyone else massively suffering from piles? Nice way to introduce myself

sambababy · 31/05/2016 01:33

Oh man I really hope I don't miss anyone here. Congratulations mrsmugoo, Liberty, aml, alas and coldest!!! Enjoy those squishy newborn cuddles! Hope all the other new mums are getting on ok.

Feeling so uncomfortable now I wouldn't mind it being my turn in a week or so. Only 37+2 though so not holding my breath. I keep having this aching pain low down in my left hand side, it's so weird.

sambababy · 31/05/2016 01:55

And yes yes to piles, swollen fanjo, fairly constant BH, electric shock cervix kicks, sciatica, spd. I'm amazed I've not had heartburn but feel most sorry for you loves still suffering with nausea, that's got to be the worst. But we are almost there!!!

Torfhinn · 31/05/2016 06:29

Very happy to the arrival of a baby boy, born yesterday at 3pm, weighing 8lb 1oz. No name yet but he's perfect!
I had a long early phase after waters broke on Saturday afternoon. So pleased we put off inducing until Monday as i went into proper labour Sunday night and was 3cm by 8am on Monday. Labour then progressed fast and he was born naturally with just gas and air. Absolutely over the moon with such a positive birth experience, so much better than last time.

Now looking forward to introducing him to his big brother and a glass of champagne later! Grin

iamdivergent · 31/05/2016 06:40

Yay Torfhinn congratulations xx

ILovePies · 31/05/2016 08:03

Eeeeeeee torfhinn congratulations!! So lovely to hear another positive birth experience! Enjoy your bubbles!! Well deserved!
spock they're leaving me alone as well, but I have a sweep booked for my 40 week app too! Hopefully will get things going for the both of us!! Do you know what you're having?

Welcome billi :) I'm not suffering luckily but piles have definitely been a reoccurring topic on these threads!!

strawberrypenguin · 31/05/2016 08:08

congratulations torf

Welcome Billi

We're starting to settle into a nice rhythm here, DS1 doesn't seem too put out by his baby brother and is great at helping fetch things and DH and I seem to have the night feeds worked out so we both get some sleep! Little mans cord came off this morning too which is good as it was looking really gross!
Got newborn hearing test and check up appointment later on.

clarish84 · 31/05/2016 08:29

Congratulations torfhinn what wonderful news Flowers

Well I feel like death I'm 39 +1 weeks and I have had the worst 2 nights sleep ever keep having period like cramps and a few tightening threw the day and night . And to make it worse my dh is off work because it's his 30th birthday and although I love him to bits him being here at night can be a pain ( normally works nights ) as he snores like he's trying to wake the gods . Plus last night he kept waking me up to move over I'm not sure h3 was wake when doing it because he's normally used to having the bed to him self in the week lol I feel terrible moaning but I felt sick all night to so think just over reacting. I think he hopes the baby will come today I really want the baby out but I'm so tired I hope it's not today x

bikingintherain · 31/05/2016 08:38

Congratulations torfhin! Hope choosing a name isn't too tricky!

MagicDucky · 31/05/2016 08:50

Hi guys, quick question. Do any of you know if nosebleeds are a sigh of anything to worry about? Just woke up with an adult nose bleed and vomiting too. Not sure if I should call the midwife or not!

MagicDucky · 31/05/2016 08:51

Not really sure what an adult nosebleed is Hmm my fingers and auto correct are somehow working against me.

GrubbyWindows · 31/05/2016 08:59

Yay torf fantastic news! Congratulations!

magic I think nosebleeds are one of those preggo things- but since you haven't had them so far I'd ring the midwife if I were you, sudden new things often need checking out. I'm sure it's nothing though!

Ouf clarish thinking of you! I hope you manage to get some rest today!

Spock27 · 31/05/2016 09:11

Congratulations torf, what a wonderful positive story Smile good luck with the naming!
Oh you poor thing clarish, are you able to get a nap in today? I'm tired all the time just now at 39 weeks too, keep randomly falling asleep on the couch. Any chance of sleeping in separate beds until baby is here?
Ilove no idea, do you? I'm hoping it will encourage me to push!
