Since we only have about 15 posts remaining I thought I'd make up the new one.

Lots of babies have arrived already but still plenty of us pregnant too. Here's to our June 2016 babies Smile

Good luck Emma, very excited for you (and envious!)

He's gorgeous gnomette, congratulations!

Torfhinn · 18/06/2016 11:33

Congratulations laughing, he's beautiful!

Hope all is going well for you emma and you are enjoying baby cuddles!

Eastend2015 · 18/06/2016 11:49

I think I might actually kill my DH. Woke up this morning feeling so sick and shakey. DH wanted to watch the rugby which is fine, and I was looking forward to snuggling back up on the sofa and going back to sleep. All of a sudden there's a knock on the door and it's a mate of DHs come over to watch it too. Apparently DH told me this yesterday (he definitely didn't). I haven't as much as cleaned my teeth this morning and there is no way I want to make conversation with anyone. AIBU to be pretty livid!?

iamdivergent · 18/06/2016 12:09

YADNBU I'd have been pissed off too

MagicDucky · 18/06/2016 12:18

I second that! You're definitely not unreasonable! I'd be angry too!

Eastend2015 · 18/06/2016 12:25

Thanks ladies, shut myself in the bathroom and had a bath to try and regenerate some oxytocin levels but still feeling pretty murderous Angry

emma85x · 18/06/2016 13:22

Huge congrats gnomette!!

Waters went at 2am last night, but still no contractions though so they've sent me home. Unless anything starts naturally today they'll induce me at 8am tomorrow morning. Would like to avoid induction if at all possible. Come on baby!!!! Get a move on now Grin

Torfhinn · 18/06/2016 13:53

Fx emma, hopefully it will kick off soon for you. My labour took 31 hours from waters breaking to proper contractions being established. I'd recommend getting as much rest as possible before it starts. Good luck!

lovelilies · 18/06/2016 20:44

How is everyone? 40+1 and no signs for me yet. Sad
Getting a bit fed up and can't make any plans just in case! Would love a crystal ball to let me know when I need to be home.. And my MW is on call this weekend so hope she can come and deliver baby for me!
Thankful DS fell asleep at 8pm (cut out his nap today) so I'm sitting in the garden getting the last rays of sun in peace and quiet Grin

dollydaydream84 · 18/06/2016 21:19

I'm ok but rather tired here. Worrying that it's not sunk in yet that a new baby is arriving soon! Think it's all the apprehension around the delivery And the fact hat it's all gone so fast! No signs for me either!

iamdivergent · 18/06/2016 21:33

I've had my mum, mil and step-mil on at me today Angry like I get to choose when he is coming! Grrrrrrrrrrr. I was actually crying after speaking to my mum, we're not that close but she's all like oh keep me informed when you go into labour...erm no. I'm telling no one until baby is here safe and sound. I have the mw in Tuesday when I'll be 40+2, definately going to ask her about sweeps/induction when I see her.

dollydaydream84 · 18/06/2016 21:48

Aww divergent that is so annoying! I've had a few nice texts from friends asking how I am feeling etc but no one pestering me yet! Chin up lovely. Fingers crossed you can get a sweep on Tuesday xx

PissPotPourri · 19/06/2016 06:55

Morning all. So contractions have started for me. They came on last night at which point I called my mum in a panic as she has to travel 2 hours to look after the kids. After 90 minutes they stopped! However, they started again, waking me at 2 this morning and have been persistently every 15 minutes, so not very quick but they are getting much longer now and very, very sore. This seems so different from my other two labours, with those the contractions were close together as soon as I noticed them. Am scared now it's all coming back to me!

jellybelly85 · 19/06/2016 07:22

Great news about contractions emma and potpourri - hopefully your little ones will be with you shortly.

Pot - worth having a nice warm bath to help manage the pain and relax. Do you have any other relaxation/first stage coping plans?

PissPotPourri · 19/06/2016 16:02

Baby Dominic was born at 11:15 this morning. A slow start as mentioned above buy everything went very smoothly in the MLU and he was out in three pushes. He's gorgeous and for the first time for me....NO STITCHES! Back home now and sharing cuddles between Dominic and he's two excited older brothers.

PissPotPourri · 19/06/2016 16:03

*his... I'm very tired!

strawberrypenguin · 19/06/2016 16:03

Congratulations Pot lovely name and yay for no stitches!

lovelilies · 19/06/2016 16:05

Lovely news Pisspot Grin
I thought we were starting last night , strong contractions waking me up.. But here I am at a kids party complete with huge bump!

May have a go on bucking bronco Wink

dollydaydream84 · 19/06/2016 16:23

That's the kind of birth I would order for me Pisspot! Sounds fab and amazing that you had no stitches! Congratulations to you!

Trying to talk this one into making an appearance! No such luck. Not a single sign!!

MagicDucky · 19/06/2016 17:17

Congratulations pisspot! I'm hoping for a birth like that!

wigelspigels · 19/06/2016 17:33

Congrats pisspot. Love the name. Same as my first son. No stitches is great, I only had grazes with both mine.

Hope everyone else is doing good.

Can't believe my milk monster is 4 weeks today. He is piling on the pounds literally. He weighed 9lbs3oz, six days ago. DH says my milk is super. Blessed with a sleepy baby so far, just like his older brother when he was a baby.

Hopefully more lovely babies arriving soon Grin

laughingGnomette · 19/06/2016 21:17

Yay! Congratulations pisspot!! What a super birth story Grin

dolly - I was 40+2 and completely shocked at how big he was! The ELCS was very, very different to the EMCS. Calm, planned and the fact that I was able to have a good nights sleep the day before has made my recovery so much faster. One of the nice touches was that they lowered the screen for me so that I could see him entering the world, I also had skin to skin straight away which was lovely. The actual operation was longer and quite... brutal, mainly because the baby was in a difficult position and they had to force and drag him out with forceps. The stitch up was more complicated and longer due to the previous scarring but my blood loss was a lot less and I had none of the horrible vomiting or shaking from the anaesthetic that I had last time - possibly because I wasn't so weak and exhausted. I did feel a bit of regret after the procedure because I found the initial recovery and lack of mobility SO frustrating (the gas and afterbirth pains were horrible too) but I'm on day three now, my dressings are off, mobility is good and I feel so much better about it all. I'll always wonder 'what if' and would have loved to gave a natural birth but the fact that I've avoided another possible EMCS has made me pleased with my choice. Best of luck to you, I'm really hoping you have a lovely birth experience xx

dollydaydream84 · 19/06/2016 21:46

Thanks Gnomette I stopped reading the bit which starts "the operation was slightly longer..." As I was too scared to read And read your last few sentences. I am really winding myself up about it and worrying so much! So glad you had a nice cam experience, I am very much hoping for that too! Grin hope you are settling in really well with him! X

Eastend2015 · 19/06/2016 23:10

Snap pisspot! Baby Max arrived at 7.11 this evening. Slightly scary birth story to follow! Xx

Off to the hospital first thing in the morning for an ELCS. All last minute due to dropping platelets and bleeding but feel safe if the best. Will eBay the Hypnobirthing kit I suppose.....
