Since we only have about 15 posts remaining I thought I'd make up the new one.

Lots of babies have arrived already but still plenty of us pregnant too. Here's to our June 2016 babies Smile

39+5 today. Was trying to get hold of the mw yesterday to ask if I cold get a sweep on Tuesday when I'm seeing her but no one answering their bloody general enquiry line and I didn't want to leave a message.

Just the usual BH, nothing further. I'm fed up so I really feel for those who are overdue. We will all have our babies soon enough.

Plan today is some household cleaning/hoovering etc. Had to order a new washing machine yesterday as ours is goosed, it'll be a race between baby and it arriving! Close family still asking me if baby here Hmm they'd know because we'd have told them ffs; other than family no one knows my actual due date though so fx that will keep the wolves at bay for at least another week.

Good luck everyone x

Yep PISSPOT. Never made it to due date before, strange feeling!

Iv had a horrible mood too, but been ok last day or two. Going to docs today to get meptit prescription to have at home just in case I need something stronger than G&A. Still feel like I'm imagining all this and there isn't really another baby HmmConfused

dollydaydream84 · 17/06/2016 13:47

lovelillies that is exactly how I feel! I'm worried the arrival will be a massive shock!! :D

Declined a sweep today, may have one on Monday. My logic of "if I'm dilated I'll have a sweep to get it moving" was flawed as midwife said you can be dilated for weeks or have a closed cervix and go into labour the next day so it means nothing. Which is kind of what I figured out from reading various accounts of ladies on here who have had all kinds of symptoms but not gone into labour yet (fx for you all!).

Midwife is soo lovely, I wish I could take her in with me! I literally just ended up having a chat with her today and she didn't make me feel like I'd wasted an appointment which was really nice.

Good luck Pies !!!!!!

Well I've been in the hospital since 1 today they wanted to monitor me for reduced movement and I've been waiting to see the doctor for nearly two hours! I'm so tired! Once on the monitor I felt some movement and there was a good strong heartbeat although baby is still back to back. But I can't leave until I see the doctor. The joys of babies!

MagicDucky · 17/06/2016 19:20

I saw the doctor at last and I'm getting induced on Sunday night! Scared and excited!

iamdivergent · 17/06/2016 19:53

Oooh not long then. Sorry your eine for reduced movements, can't be fun. There is always something, pregnancy is stressful.

Are they keeping you in until then?

iamdivergent · 17/06/2016 19:54

Uh.

You're in Hmm

dollydaydream84 · 17/06/2016 20:07

Oh wow, good luck Ducky! Hope the movements settle down xx

How are you doing iam

Thread quiet this evening, are you all busy labouring?! Grin

I'm very slightly swollen everywhere! Cankles!

Eastend2015 · 17/06/2016 20:28

Good luck ducky!!

No discernible labouring here dolly, just nauseous Sad! Cankles here too!

iamdivergent · 17/06/2016 21:19

Keep an eye on the swelling dolly that was dsis only sign of pre eclampsia and even then it wasn't too bad.

No labouring here. Just sat watching supernatural with DH and the cats.

No, not keeping me in thankfully, I think they could tell I wanted to get home. I was in there for 5 and a half hours and just wanted home. I think she told me about 9 times in the space of 5 minutes that I NEED to go in if anything changes between now and then.

I'm so nervous!

PissPotPourri · 17/06/2016 21:42

No labouring here either. Feel so far away from labour at some points, then like it could happen at any moment at others.
Exciting news for Ducky! Also wondering how our inductees are fairing.
Fingers x'd everyone for some spontaneous, quick, smooth labours tonight!

lovelilies · 17/06/2016 21:45

Nothing here either. Just feeling grumpy and DS won't go to bloody sleep Angry

dollydaydream84 · 17/06/2016 21:57

Thanks Iam Had BP and urine done today, both were OK so thats keeping my mind at ease at the moment :) it isn't as bad as I have had it but if it gets worse I will give them a ring. Interesting that you didn't have it too badly for pre-eclampsia, I would have assumed it would be like elephant feet/hands . Thanks for the warning :)

Aww Ducky it is exciting! Just be prepared that inductions aren't always quick, but sometimes they can be! Baby cuddles coming your way soon!

lovelillies hope DS goes to sleep soon :(

I'm also nauseous Eastend cannot WAIT to stop feeling sick!! not long hopefully!

Fingers crossed indeed for some speedy labours!

jellybelly85 · 17/06/2016 23:46

I can second the subtle creeping up of pre-eclampsia. I had a 'trace' of protein in my urine for months, completely normal BP and ankles only swelled the day before I laboured (was a hot day). As soon as contractions started, high BP and 3 types of protein in urine = pre-eclampsia.

emma85x · 18/06/2016 05:07

And we're off!!! Waters broke at 2am, came into triage and I'm currently 3cm dilated and having minor contractions. They're going to move me to the labour ward now. Sooo excited!!! Smile

bikingintherain · 18/06/2016 06:55

Hurray! Great news emma! hope it all goes well.

lovelilies · 18/06/2016 08:23

Yay good luck Emma Grin

dollydaydream84 · 18/06/2016 08:25

Ooh jelly I wouldn't have thought it would be like that at all! Will keep an eye on it today, still feel a bit tight around ankles and fingers even though I've been asleep all night. Thanks ladies x

Good luck Emma!!

PissPotPourri · 18/06/2016 08:40

Thinking of you Emma!

laughingGnomette · 18/06/2016 09:33

Hi ladies! baby gnomette was born on 16th June by ELCS. He weighed a chunky 9lb 12oz and has a rather large head so c-section was probably the best option in hindsight! We are recovering well (I'm struggling a bit with terrible gassy pains but nothing serious) so should be discharged today.

Good luck to all of you still waiting to deliver and congratulations on all recent arrivals. Xx

dollydaydream84 · 18/06/2016 09:41

Wow Gnomette that is a fantastic weight!! Was he born at 40 weeks? Absolutely gorgeous he is!! How was the ELCS? Feeling nervous if mine goes ahead! Hope you recover quickly, have they given you a peppermint cocktail thing to help with the gassy pain? Xx

jellybelly85 · 18/06/2016 09:53

Congrats Gromette! He's lovely. Hope your recovery continues to go well at home.

Good luck Emma - how are things going?

MagicDucky · 18/06/2016 10:08

Thanks dolly just nervous because the midwife kept telling us that it might not work and I'd have to have a CS. I'd really rather not have one but if that's what's best for baby then I'll just have to suck it up and do it. Really hoping the induction works!

Congratulations laughing! He is gorgeous! What a weight!!

Good luck Emma hope all goes smoothly enjoy your cuddles when baby arrives!

PissPotPourri · 18/06/2016 10:35

He is gorgeous Gnomette, makes me broody (luckily). Congratulations!
