Hi guys - sorry I'm a bit late in reporting that yes, Lauren Rose arrived on Friday 26 January - my induction day although a few "fiddles" down there by various people throughout the day culminating in a final sweep at about 8.30 pm led to a "spontaneous" labour and birth at 9.57 pm. Have posted details in "birth announcements".

I was really lucky to be seen to that day as lots of people at the Royal Free seemed to have to wait 2 or 3 days for a room to be free in labour ward so they could be induced!

We had to stay in a couple of days so Lauren could be observed for any signs of a Group B Strep infection - so far so good. Big sigh of relief. And hugely happy she turned out to be a girl. And feel soooooooo much better than when I was pregnant. All in all a very happy poppynic.

Haven't posted for a while but couldn't believe reading poopynic's post just now - I have also named my daighter (born 24 Jan) Lauren Rose!

We obviously both have the same impeccable taste!

Congratulations to everyone who had had their babies.

Very very late post, sorry very very busy!!

I had a baby girl, Matilda, on 13 January, 6lb 11.5 oz

I cannot believe how little free time I have had this time around, this is honestly the first chance I have had to post!Almost time for my 6 week check!!

I hope everyone is doing well and hope to join you all in a post natal group, once I locate it!!
