Podmog, I'm so sorry, the situation you're in is clearly a lot more complicated than just being overdue. I can't imagine how stressful this time must be for you, or how unpleasant, but I can understand your wish for this last baby to be delivered in a way that you can look back on with good feelings, or at least not with unhappy feelings. I can only hope that when the time comes, somehow it all comes right.... Did they give you a firm date for induction?

2happy i must be the only person who is glad you havent popped as you are doing a fab job on the list I started there is no way I could have kept up with having my 2 girls uner 2, I'm lucky to get on MN for half hour each night and never have a chance to rea all the posts

Although I hope you do have yours soon as I know I would have hated to have gone overdue, in fact hated the end bit of pregnancy and both of mine were early!!

Hi Ladies, Congrats to all the new mums and hopefully not much longer to go for the others. My little bundle was delivered 12.30am on morning of Friday 26, Luke Edward, 8lbs 14oz, and I must say he is gorgeous. My VBAC delivery was successful I'm pleased to say....eye watering but successful!! Good luck ladies. xxx

Hello everyone,
baby Jeta was born on 24th Jan at 5.12 pm weighing 9lbs 11oz(!). Two weeks late but wow was she worth it. Happily home from hospital and hope to be added to that born list at last!x

Just to let you know that I gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Georgina Elizabeth, on Friday 26 January, weighing 6 lb 3 oz at 11.10 am. Went into early labour on the Thursday at 7 pm after a day of worry about being induced. Long story with the birth but ended up going into hospital very early on and with an epidural very early on (at 1cm dilated) because of over stimulating uterus which meant long contractions every 1 minute from the very start after my backache and show. Anybody still waiting - have an epidural - they are bloody marvellous - and this is from me who was adamant I didn't want one cos I was scared about the implications and even though it only worked on third go I don't think I could have done it without it TBH and the bloody brilliant midwives...

Congratulations, FF, great news. I was like you last time - swore blind I didn't want an epidural, but ended up having to have one, promptly wondered what all the fuss had been about ! Wonder how poppynic got on, she was going to be induced on the friday when you had been going to get yours?
Just discovered some goats cheese, stilton and pate dh had hidden in the fridge to give me after Thursday, I looove him

How are you doing 2happy? You seem to be keeping this thread going single handedly!!

Not long for you to go now either way though.

I'm feeling miles better than I did.Was having anxiety attacks in the middle of the night and not sleeping at all. I managed to get a good 6 hours or so last night which seems like loads given that we worked out that the last time I had a good sleep was the 21st!!

The labour bit was easy compared to the sleep deprivation!

honestly, Trixy, I think even if no-one else ever posted I'd still keep wittering to myself on here . I'm ok, but getting pretty nervous about tomorrow, it's definitely harder being induced than waiting for it to happen, there's such a build up, it's scary. Just hoping it goes ok and I might be home with a new baby this time on Friday! Your pic is great - he's got fantastic hair hasn't he?

Good luck for tomorrow 2happy I was induced with dd they gave me a pessery at 9am said they would check me at 3pm to see if they could break my waters which they did and she popped out 2hrs later , bit different to my ds which was my first birth he took 26hrs !!!!
