Possibly.

Callie - that's so heartening that Jordi gave a little suck. I bet you can't wait to plug him on properly.

Bless him, poor wee mite. I'm really glad he is progressing so well and admire your dedication to making sure he gets the benefits of your milk.

Thanks for the encouragement about the names too. When I think back, no one liked DS and DDs names either but people just accept it once the child has the name anyway don't they.

Look forward to more updates form you [big hugs to you and Jordi and DH}

sexkittyinwaiting · 18/01/2007 18:32

Well done Callie, sounds like everything is going really well

foxy, you call him what ever you like, you're the one who has to push him out

Horray, now I've got the hang of this photo lark I've put some more pics of the kids so you can see what they look like, the order goes Sam, Kai, Poppy, Kitty, Clara.

TheBlonde · 18/01/2007 19:02

Crickey I go out for the day and it takes an age to catch up!

I have only skimmed so hope everyone is doing okay

Been to 1st antenatal refresher today which was good. Nice to be childfree for the day although my mom is now stuck in London another night as the trains are all cancelled

muppetisacat · 18/01/2007 19:23

Many congrats to Callie! Bet you can't wait to feed him again!

Oh I've had to join in and post my bump picture on my profile... by some amazing crack in the space/time continuum - you can't see my belly button at all!

morocco · 18/01/2007 19:36

congrats callie, it was lovely to hear an update on Jordi's progress. I hope you're doing Ok, it sounds like he's doing really well, bet you can't wait to get him home now. hope that day comes soon.

hi everyone, OK i've tried to read the messages but there are too many!!! so I have no idea what you are all up to but I guess it is like me, loads of wiggling round and big fat tummy? (don't anyone post that they are super svelte or I'll be madly jealous!). dd is so wriggly it's untrue, and all these 'bits' stick out, so she must have super sharp elbows or something.

I've given up on the walking thing and mostly drive now, some days I seem pretty well and others can hardly get up off the sofa, but it's not actually all that painful, more like stiff. feel like an old lady!
we went to centerparcs last weekend, where I forgot you have to walk everywhere and we were miles away from the swimming pool. One the last day I had contractions half the night til the next afternoon. it was well scary. Luckily they calmed back down again after a few hours of sitting doing nothing but my stomach was killing the next day, like after you've been running and your legs ache the next day. So now, more sitting and cups of tea for me

really hope you';re all well, I always feel so guilty I haven't got more time to 'chat' to you all

divastrop · 18/01/2007 19:59

callie-sounds like you've got a strong little lad thereso glad everythings going ok.

morocco-its impossible to keep up with this thread unless you log on at least 3 times a dayas ive discovered.my xp used to work at what is now centerparcs in the lake district, when i was expecting ds1.the hills etc were a nightmare, especially in the last couple of weeks.

i kept dd2's name(Gloria)a secret untill she was born cos i know what people are like-once youve actually had the baby they all say 'thats a nice name' even if they hate it ,just to be polite.is there some unwritten rule somewhere that its acceptable in our society to be blatantly rude to pregnant women?

kitty-i will look at your pic in a minute.i'm not posting mine-the only 'bump' photo ive got of me was when expecting ds1.its not something i like to remember for all eternity.but my bump is very saggy and has my very attractive flabby loose skin hanging from it

muppetisacat · 18/01/2007 20:03

dd was just looking at my bump picture here and said "mummy, your top looks like it's getting a bit tight..."
Can't get any bigger - refuse to buy any bigger maternity tops now...
Seriously... can anyone see my belly button?

divastrop · 18/01/2007 20:05

kitty-i think your bump looks quite large for a small-built lady.defo neater than mine.

divastrop · 18/01/2007 20:08

no,i cant see your belly button.another slim person who just gets a bump!!!why does my whole body get fat???

DollyPopsOut · 18/01/2007 20:11

Hello everyone

Haven't really kept up today. The bump pictures are great - mine is more football shaped really, and quite low. Pressing on my bladder quite badly now, and so I feel as though I need to pee every 5 minutes. I do look like I have stuffed a space hopper up my jumper! The Dr said on Tues that I look much bigger without my clothes on but I think I might crash the system if I got my bump out in all its glory .

Glad to hear that Jordi has had his first BF, Callie. Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

DD has been poorly today - not eating, not doing much, just flopping around listlessly. We must have watched the telly tubbies a hundred times. She likes sitting on my lap for cuddles when she is poorly, but there isn't much lap left now as there is too much bump in the way. I keep worrying about how I will cope iwth 2 of them but then I think of all of you with lots of children and realise that we will get by.

Hope everyone is OK and not too windy (in the nicest possible way!) XXXX

Booboobedoo · 18/01/2007 20:15

Lol @ your belly-button obsession Muppet. FWIW, I didn't notice it. Hang on - dog's trying to stop me typing by sticking her head under my arm...

Bethoo, my dog is a mutt! She looks like a dingo. I'll post a pic of her on my page later. I love Boxers - all the ones I've met are just like puppies, however old they are.

Another huge tree blew over in our park today (2 went a few days ago).

Great seeing other bump pics! We all look so different (couldn't see your profile Rosy). Jay: I don't really want my face up: like the anonymity.

Kitty: your kids are beautiful.

Foxy: it's me at the mad antenatal classes. My teacher is definitely a bit of a fruit-loop. I can teach piano and guitar, but I don't because I find it so bloody boring! I like big groups of kids singing their little hearts out together. We're getting close now, aren't we? Can't remember: how close to your dates have you given birth before?

Not sure I like the 'private' function on the profile page, although I suppose it would be useful if I want to post photos of Jonny and I only want you lot to see...

Mum came over today. We tried to take our dogs out, but we nearly got lifted off our feet by the wind, then the Park Rangers came and shooed us out, as the council had told them to shut the park. Scary!

X posts Dolly: Hello!

Sorry Lucy's poorly: must be hard to cope if you feel anything like as immobile as I do.

Drop me a text when you've got a mo and let me know when you'd like a coffee.

Hello Booboo! Thought I'd replied to your text but clearly not. I'll text again. XXXX

Dulwich park is shut as well. 2 trees down. And one of the huge trees in Rosendale Road have gone too. Very scary!! XX

sexkittyinwaiting · 18/01/2007 20:39

Dolly that's my old stamping ground, feels strange to hear it being talked about

divastrop · 18/01/2007 21:09

ok..ive put my bump pic up,but only to make kitty feel less saggy, you understand

i'm not ging to show any bare flesh though.my stretchmarks will scare the first-timers

Jaysecond · 18/01/2007 21:54

diva theres nothing wrong with your bump at all, even though its a bit dark, i can barely make it out! oh god anyone watching BB??? its cringeworthy .....

Rosylily · 18/01/2007 22:14

Flippity sake I think I've got it right now and I apologise in advance for an unclear and out of date bump.
All the bumps look great! It's great having a good old nosey!

Callie am delighted that Jordi had a suck, how lovely. You are doing brilliantly.

sexkittyinwaiting · 18/01/2007 22:18

Diva, is that this bump? It looks pretty pert to me .I've decided that mine looks like a beer belly not a baby belly

eidsvold · 18/01/2007 23:35

oh yes Moss - big prison break fan here - although dh and I missed the actually prison break episodes and have them on tape - havn't watched them yet. BUT the other night on TV - they showed the new series so we know they got out. We need to get our acts together and watch those other episodes. I prefer the guy who plays his brother Lincoln - hunky chunky aussie.

gosh all your bumps look smaller than mine and I am only 30 weeks this week...... Dh said last night I looked huge - thanks for the encouragement.

Waiting in for furniture to go into the dds' room.

Not much else happening here. Counting down to consultant appt next week to discuss c-section and then the countdown to everything starting up again...

eidsvold · 18/01/2007 23:36

now i've caught up with msgs - good news CALLIE at jordi making some attempt to feed!! Electric pumps are fab.

3rdTriMossTer · 19/01/2007 06:33

Morning all as usual will catch up later on when I'm in work.

Last night I went to Lime Street Station to get the train home. ALL the trains, except two, were cancelled. I imagined a nightmare of getting the 10a bus home; packed and takes at least an hour and ten at the best of times; with traffic backed up all along the roads I really didn't want to get the bus!

However, I did take a look a the trains; one went to Scarborough, and the other one went to Rainhill... which is about six miles away from me!

I had to run for it mind, but the train driver took pity on me (you've seen my bump; now imagine that running down a train platform!) and didn't go until I got on.

After I got off the train I managed to get a bus pretty quick smartish and wasn't home that much later than usual!

Dh on the other hand - it took him four hours to get home, from what's normally a 25 minute journey, max. He was not happy poor love!

I'd better check the trains are running this morning now!!

bethoo · 19/01/2007 09:35

Morning everyone.
just thought i would let all those dog lovers (particularly boxer lovers (not the underpants!!!)that i have added some cute piccies of my boys plus one of the cats (who thinks he is a dog!. hope you like them!

Piffle · 19/01/2007 10:39

CAllie , terrific news about Jordi making attempts to feed! Hope he gets stronger and makes more sucking progress over the next week!

My back is ruined moan moan alert had horrendous day yesterday, lifting hovering fence panels and lugging dd around town for 3 hrs while car was MOT'd in the pouring rain and howling winds.
Failed at cooking dinner as could not stand up and had takeaway, I played safe and just had tandoori chicken and salad, but got most horrific heartburn as soon as I lay down.
So am guessing spicy foods are out for the next 2 mths.

Booboobedoo · 19/01/2007 11:06

Spicy food's out for me too Piffle. Suppose that means that the old 'shag and a curry' method to bring on labour is out of the question.

Bethoo: your dogs are lovely! I've posted an old pic of mine up if you fancy a look.

Callie: so glad you've been able to breast-feed a bit. Have they given you any idea as to how long he's likely to have to stay in?

I was thinking about your London commute yesterday Moss: glad it wasn't too horrendous. Luckily DH was working late, so by the time he left it was all sorted. Your poor DH had a rough time!

Jay: I flicked over to CBB a couple of times, but I couldn't keep it on. Too horrible. Played on MN instead!

I was supposed to pick my new rocking chair up today (got it on ebay) but I just don't have the energy. I've slept quite well for the last few nights, but I still wake up exhausted.

Ah well. Not long now. I'd rather wake up in the night for my baby than because of sore hips and endorphin overload.

Booboo - your dog is so cute! what is she? a pedigree or cross? if she is a cross she looks like maybe a ridgeback/lab cross! how adorable when they are pups! mine still think they are pups though!
i was going to try and help bring on labour if i go overdue by drinking raspberry leaf tea! or just lots of sex and supposadly tweaking of the nipples!

34 weeks today and counting!!
