Couldn't find a heart beat so just waiting for a scan thank u for ur kind words feeling so heartbroken x urging baby to be on

Mar so sorry to hear you're in hospital, try not to panic yet. I went in last week with reduced movement and they didn't find heartbeat with first Doppler, had to get a second. I completely froze. Keep us updated

I also had the same experience last pregnancy, where several midwives with different dopplers couldn't find the heartbeat. Just as they were about to transfer me to hospital they finally found it, after about 20 minutes. Fingers crossed that baby is just tucked up out of the way.

Oh Mar I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's been taking ages to find my baby's heartbeat too. Praying everything is ok xx

Bel yes I've had tummy pains but they're more external-ish - I think it's ligaments stretching. It often happens when I sneeze (which is a lot at the mo as I have a yucky cold!) - I have to hunch over and brace myself so it doesn't pop the ligaments to sharply!

Sorry about the lack of movement Mar19901 hope they are treating you alright. In my experience (was in hospital a lot with the first with lack of movement) its better to go in and check then make yourself sick with worry. Even the forth time I went in I didnt get any weird looks. My DD was so tall she just was running out of room to wiggle.

Bit of an update on me. Well my work is a rumour mill at the moment because we are probably going to have to merge to the other office in a few months. This would be the big corporate company that has taken us over and to be honest even though I don't like the idea of that I kind of want to move back to my old town where I had my first daughter. Its about a 40 min commute to the other office but its a nice mini city with lots of baby groups and a last minute 36+ weeks moving of house wouldn't be too bad. DH isnt looking forward to it.

The only other downer is the hospital I would have to go to would be the one I had my DD and they are pretty crappy for post birth. I got no breastfeeding support and they tried to push me out of there less than 24 hours after having my first.

Ha julfin I can't hope to live up to your tech expectations! Thread pretty easy to find tho newbies.

Photgrapher - sounds like the merger has pros & cons. Why does news of one always remind me of The Office?!

I had my scan and thankfully they eventually found heart beat they want to do a follow up scan on Monday but still not feeling movement x

mar - so pleased that they found a heartbeat. Hope everything goes well on Monday. Did they give you any thoughts on why the movement had stopped? Hopefully you can have a relaxing weekend.
