Thread #4 - TTC#1 the one where Stark joins the grads!!!!

Welcome to another riveting instalment of TTC#1 grads.

We've got new grads POAS every day just to make sure, 1st Trimesters wondering if they will be hit by the dreaded morning sickness or not, those approaching the hollowed promised land of the second trimester where all is good and the glowing will prevail... Those who have reached the second trimester and are thoroughly miffed at the lack of glowing.
We have scan photos, bizarre symptoms and the joys of baby shopping, and very importantly we now have Stark!

All are welcome on the wild gas powered ride that is TTC#1 grads

So we had our scan today. Baby was very uncooperative to start with and I had to do multiple lots of star jumps, but cooperated in the end and all looks good! So relieved.

We also found out that baby is a girl

Great news on scan miley. Our measurement was 1.6 but I was only 12+1 when I had the scan so yours sounds totally fine. How are you feeling now sickness-wise?

I know only three of us know yet but do we think there will be any correlation between morning sickness and whether baby is a boy or girl? Bunch and I are having boys and avoided all MS... Can you tell I have been marking statistics coursework all day?! Haha!

I don't know if I will be signed off again eventually but I don't think a dr is going to sign me off for being exhausted and achey, I wish they bloody would!

Nev, interesting theory! No MS for a boy and bad for a girl!

Soda, I'll be honest and say we did have a slight preference for a girl, but I was convinced it was a boy! Shows I know nothing!

Like I said, I think I have been reading too many strange hypotheses etc today for work!

Also surely soon we will have our first twins of the group too?

irregular yes, baby was bouncing away quite happily. Took a fair few prods to get into position but she cooperated eventually.

We only had to pay £2 for 6 photos! Apparently you get 2 anyway, we paid for an extra 2 but she gave us 6.

soda I'm doing better. I feel nauseous all day still, but am only being sick maybe twice or three times a day so I'm a million miles from where I was! Thanks for asking.

My date keeps jumping back on the list, should be Sept 29th :) 15 weeks tomorrow with a tiny bump x

Lots to catch up on but congrats pink on your baby girl! How exciting. I've booked my early sex scan 2 weeks on Friday, myself and DH are beyond excited to find out whether it's a pink or blue one!!

Hope everyone is doing ok, I'll have a quick read through now and try to catch up. Been staying at my mums and catching up with family and friends so haven't had much of a chance to have a read.

Btw does anyone know what to do for hayfever? Been sneezing like crazy all day, felt pretty bunged up this morning and have an itchy roof of my mouth so all signs hayfever is on its way. Can we take piriteze?

Hi ladies, lots of happy news and lovely pics today 😊

Had a day off with OH he decided to go to ikea. Been really tired but the banging and building of a unit ment not even a hint of a wee afternoon snooze. I also picked up a couple of scented candles (it is ikea after all) but I think they will be getting put away as they are quite over powering and it's making me queezy 😟 pregnancy eh..

In terms of guessing what we are having, the lack of sickness is making me think it's a boy. But my SIL last pregnancy was sickness free, just a feeling of nausea especially at night, and she had a girl. A girl I worked with had two very different pregnancies, one practically symptomless the other on par with poor miley, both boys! Then there is of course Kate Middleton, she was hospitalised with George through sickness, and was ill again with charlotte. Wonder how our little group holds up with this theory..... great fun guessing though ☺

Indi I've had the most hideous itching due to allergies and was told to take nothing sucks!

I'm the youngest of 3 and my mum had terrible sickness with my eldest brother, not as severe with other brother and nothing at all with me. Though she was pregnant for 30 months! There's only 2.5 years between my oldest brother and me. I just think I've been ridiculously unlucky but have also been informed I have 80% chance of HG in my next pregnancy. What I'd give to never experience morning sickness ever again!

lauren yes it definitely makes it worth it when I see baba wriggling away

Indi for hayfever the pharmacist won't sell you anything because of restrictions but your GP can prescribe you a nasal spray and eye drops. If that's not enough they can prescribe you antihistamines.

Argh! Sorry Lauren I'm going to give you a complex aren't I

I put porridge oats in my tea instead of milk in/on both this morning. In the office. Who none of them know about the baby yet. That's baby brain in full force :)

Congrat Pink on your baby girl! And congrats Miley on your scan too!

Nothing new to report here... Just getting very round, impatiently waiting for the 20week scan! Feeling bubbles, but can't wait to feel definite kicks.

Oh and you guys make me feel totally unprepared as I haven't bought 1 thing for baby or nursery... Waiting till after the scan but online screen shopping like mad, creating wish lists- can not wait!

Also the bump photos are great, I can't wait to have a proper bump. Some close friends today said I was showing already. Im 13w and really don't think I am..is it just something people say to make you feel happy/more pregnant? It just made me feel fat tbh!

If we are going for bumps this was mine about 16+4... Its big!
