Welcome to another riveting instalment of TTC#1 grads.

We've got new grads POAS every day just to make sure, 1st Trimesters wondering if they will be hit by the dreaded morning sickness or not, those approaching the hollowed promised land of the second trimester where all is good and the glowing will prevail... Those who have reached the second trimester and are thoroughly miffed at the lack of glowing.
We have scan photos, bizarre symptoms and the joys of baby shopping, and very importantly we now have Stark!

All are welcome on the wild gas powered ride that is TTC#1 grads

Thanks everyone, I'm still beaming!!its started feeling real now.
They moved me back a day so I'm now 12+2 and due 12th October

Thanks Runner - s/he was getting grumpy with the scanner pressing down. Kept wriggling away from it and even put his/her hands up against it at one point. Was so amazing to see!

Anyone good at the nub theory? Already going mad googling skulls and nubs!

Congratulations on all the lovely healthy scans ladies!

I Googled the nub theory for hours after our first scan, and was none the wiser after it! I can't seem a blooming nub thing on half of the photos people put up on these boards. I think i'm looking in the wrong place!

I also looked at the skull theory, but apparently there is no scientific basis for that, and it bamboozled me too anyway!

Doing exactly the same Indi. I've had 3 friends say boy to me, but pretty sure what they're looking at is a foot!

Booked in for my anomaly scan in about 6 weeks so will find out then with a little more experience and a little less guessing!

Everyone keeps saying to me it's a boy too irregular but I can't really see a bloody nub!

Oh wow congrats on the beautiful scans miley, indi and irregular!!!

I moved my scan from 6th to 15th because I was dated a week earlier in my last scan. 2 more weeks for me... !

We're scan buddies lillian! Mine is 15th too.

Well Indi I think you might have a girl there but what would I know except that it's a baby. I think I'm going to enjoy this guessing even if I have no real idea what I'm looking at.

I think girl for you, too indi! I did the googling thing too but I can't see a nub either. I don't know why I did it because I want a surprise... I think!

I have just looked up both the nub and skull theory... I'm none the wiser! All our babies heads look about the same shape and I can't see a nun to save my life

How are you all?

I was obsessed with the nub and skull theories but unless it's really obvious with the nub (start of a little wanger) it's really hard to tell I think.

All the new scans are ace!

How you feeling today bunch?

I've had quite bad cramps for about 24 hours now. Assuming it's just expansion etc, hurts when I sit up.

Is anyone getting one of those nursing chairs?

My very first maternity dress just arrived, it makes me look like a whale (because that's how big I am!!) but I don't care, it's so comfortable!!!!
I've now got to the stage where I only wear clothes if I have to because they're just uncomfortable, so this is bliss.

I am also a bit miffed that in the past week my face appears to have become pregnant

Shelb I'm not sure what I'm going to do about nursery furniture yet as until we choose a house I don't know how much room I'll have.

Really Cosmo, Miley? Everyone keeps saying its a boy and I have had a boy vibe up until the scan, now looking at it I have a girlie vibe. Basically none the wiser and changing my mind haha going to book in for my private sexing scan today, they don't tell you the sex where I live so I'll find out soon enough.

I've been get waves of real tiredness, so bad you literally need to give yourself a pep talk to do basic functions! Feel little yucky but no morning sickness as of yet (touch wood)

shelb i never had one before most of my friends said they spent a lot of money on them and hardly used them. I have a little tub chair in my room and my LO was in with us so I just found it was fine using that. By the time they were in their own room they slept during the night so never needed a chair to feed. Everyone's different though. ☺

The nub theory is ok if they scan in the right position but most of the scans I see are side on and therefore not even giving you a look in the right place to start with. Good fun to guess though ☺

I've found dresses much more comfortable runner. I've been feeling a bit of movement for the past week but I kept thinking hmm maybe it's just wind! it's becoming a lot more obvious. I'm 20 weeks.

Shelb I haven't decided about a chair. I'm worried it won't get used much. What are your thoughts?

shelb I'm getting a nursing chair and footstool set from mother care. It's not too expensive and figured I'd need it quote a bit.

Welcoming back vomiting today. Not happy about it!

Feeling happy as I have a date for my next scan and received a letter to say that baby has a low chance of Down's syndrome! 🎉 Just need to make my 16 week appointment now! 14+3 today.

I have no idea about nub theory but people who've seen my scan pics have all said boy. I think boy too but not basing it on scan pics - just a feeling! Long wait for us though as we're not finding out!

mor I'm doing ok thanks. I've got a cervical scan on Tuesday and they'll make a decision on a stitch based on that. If it's any shorter than last time they said they'll admit me on the day and do the stitch pretty much straight away.
