Welcome to another riveting instalment of TTC#1 grads.

We've got new grads POAS every day just to make sure, 1st Trimesters wondering if they will be hit by the dreaded morning sickness or not, those approaching the hollowed promised land of the second trimester where all is good and the glowing will prevail... Those who have reached the second trimester and are thoroughly miffed at the lack of glowing.
We have scan photos, bizarre symptoms and the joys of baby shopping, and very importantly we now have Stark!

All are welcome on the wild gas powered ride that is TTC#1 grads

runner I'm glad you're getting everything you wanted! You deserve it. We're going for the mother care exclusive too, honestly it was my favourite pattern!

It must be excited buying prams and stuff-I feel so far away from that right now! I need to book my midwife appt-maybe it will start to feel real after that.

Also chuckled at Jack and Jill...there was another thread on there the other day by someone wanting to call her twins Kitty and Katie-she got so irate when people pointed out how similar the names were!

Elle I still haven't booked any appointments! I feel like now is too early... I might leave it til the end of the Easter holidays, I'll be 6+a few, hopefully that'll be okay...

Thanks Impy, that makes me feel better. I'll try and ring next week when I'm 6 weeks I think. We are moving in the next couple of weeks so also need to try and book in with the new area (different county and hospital-argh)!

Morning ladies, how are you all feeling today?

I think working might be a bit of a struggle for me today. I'm way too excited about selling and starting to look for houses. Also, I'm 19 weeks tomorrow (nearly half way!) and it's now two weeks today until I find out what Potato is... And only 14 weeks until I finish work (hopefully coinciding with the house move)... So yeh, brain is on anything but work right now

Good luck with scans today irregular, miley and indi. indi - they let me listen to heartbeat at my 12 week scan but I guess as bunch said, if may be different in different areas.

bunch - how are you feeling today? I meant to say about the caterpillar - I've got a friend who put her newborn in an outfit like that recently and she spent £40 on it! Business idea for you

I was feeling great when I got up but about half an hour ago had another wobble. Exact same time as yesterday ugh!
DH is working from home today so he is on call for an arm to help. Pip is happily kicking away but I'm feeling miserable again as I was set for a normal day today. I'm not made to be sat still and sofa bound.

Excited to see the results of today's scans. Photos please ladies.

Well, another pound has gone on! weirdly though tummy seems to be totally deflated sometimes. My nips are off the chart massive, maybe that's where the weight is going!

Morning! I'm 100000x happier this morning. I can't describe the relief I felt when I saw not so little butterbean! Measuring 12+6 today so a few days ahead of what we thought. Everything is perfect apparently and I agree but I am biased

Oh Miley, that's wonderful news! Bean looks lovely! Did they say why you might have had bleeding?

How are you feeling today sickness wise? Hopefully you are through the worst of it now.

Checking in on Ovia I can't believe how much happens in these early days I didn't have this with the others so just bimbled through first trimester clueless. But yesterday it told me neural tube was starting to develop, and today Fleur is laying the foundations for a heart! I don't know if it really is accurate on a daily basis, but I had no idea such important stuff happened so early - I thought I was still at basic cell division stage!

Wonderful news Miley. Congrats on your healthy bean.

I've been up and about in the last half hour, so far so good. I couldn't very well expect DH to wash and dress me so thought I'd have a go. I plan on staying as upright as possible today.

Shelb I pretty much drowned myself in water yesterday, had about 4 litres. I plan on staying as hydrated today but jeez the hunger that has taken hold is insane!!

Thank you, I stopped breathing for 30 seconds until she said baby is fine and I just cried! She said she couldn't see a bleed site on the ultrasound so it's likely nothing at all to do with baby and is more likely cervical/wall blood vessels. She said to keep an eye and if it doesn't stop or I bleed heavy again then they'll have to investigate. Good news is nothing is wrong infection-wise either. We got about 12 photos as butterbean was flipping around in there, it was hilarious, sonographer said she'd never seen one so active.

I'm having a look into nub theory and skull theories for guessing gender now not that I want to know or would even have a clue but it's good fun

pink I seem to only be vomiting once in the morning then just waves of strong nausea every now and again. I feel sick all day just no where near what I was. It's been a good week all round! I get to see baby again on Wednesday so I'm really looking forward to that as I think I'll enjoy it more.

I've got a pain near my right hip could possibly be wind but because it's scan day I'm more anxious than usual. Please tell me everything will be fine and I'm being silly.

Indi it's more likely than not round ligament pain. I generally get mine near my right hip and it can be so sharp and painful. What time is your scan?

indi I had cramps yesterday that turned out to be wind everything will be fine! Of course it will.

I know I'm being silly, I've had these pains/cramps so many times before and just ignored them. My scan is at 2.30pm..wish it would hurry up!!!

I'm panicking gently about this afternoon now, really want it over and done with and to be told everything is ok. Just found out this morning that my sil who is 4w behind me has been taken into hospital. No idea what's happening but am really worried about her. It's a very much longed for ivf baby after 5yrs of heartache and I'm terrified things might be going wrong for her. So much so that it's making it harder to enjoy my own pregnancy, which is shit but I guess understandable.

Sorry for going off on one, wasn't intending to but staring at my phone waiting for a reply from her is obviously stressing me out even more than I realised!

I don't know what's gotten into Potato today but he's been kicking constantly all day... He seems to really hate the pressure of waste bands (even maternity ones) so I think I'll try to find a dress that doesn't make me look like a whale!
