Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 46th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 45th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 59th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. I really hope that worked!

At what point does a normal Dane pregnant person start to worry about movements. Worrying about this is a daily part of life for me onbat least a 3 hourly cylcel but lilbran was fairly quiet yesterday evening and it's usual bedtime dance was only bought about with lots of poking and dh blowing raspberries on bump. It's been moving during the night as a felt a couple of kicks when I woke up to pee and dh felt a couple while I was asleep. Normally when I wake up about 7 (so 8 today) it would go mad. If it doesn't it does when I get back in bed after a pee. So far about 3small kicks. Wwyd?

lildottie · 27/03/2016 08:56

Dane = sane!

lildottie · 27/03/2016 08:56

My typing is awful but u get the jist!

CountryGal4 · 27/03/2016 08:59

Pgp arse pain short answer yes long answer not directly. Middle of the arse cheek pain isn't directly pgp. It's pain caused by a muscle on one side pulling as your pelvis isn't in line properly so the muscle is trying to over compensate. This is a muscle I get gip with normally so am well versed. Are you getting any knee pain on that side. Get thee to a physio or osteo to sort that before it kicks into serious issues.

ChatEnOeuf · 27/03/2016 09:30

Lil - you know what my answer is. Change in movements = get checked. No brainer.

lildottie · 27/03/2016 09:46

I know chat

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/03/2016 09:59

You could try keeping a tally lil to see if there is a pattern. Getting checked always the most reassuring though. And you ARE sane.

FeatheredTail · 27/03/2016 10:08

You're lucky you've established patterns Lil. No patterns at all here - moves when s/he feels like it.... I sense this is going to cause a lot of trips for monitoring in the coming weeks.

lildottie · 27/03/2016 10:25

Aww feathered you have a cheeky one! I almost wish there wasn't such a pattern! I'm sure it's fine but the moment something is delayed I freak out!

Thanks sky though I'm not sure dh would agree with you! ;)

I reckon it's moved as much but over a longer period. If I knew which of the 10million numbers to call on my maternity notes I might call a mw to chat about it. Triage? Ante natal? Dh has gone out so I can't actually go anywhere for a bit anyway unless I got dm to take me which would be a 20min drive of her telling me I'm overreacting so not ideal

sock was it you with GTT and consultant appt for clomid? Just looking at my notes and I have a page of all the care pathways for assisted conception. Clomid is just to book GTT at booking appt but nothing about consultant or growth scans and no induction either. Obviously probably varies by PCT but thought it might be of interest.

FuzzyOwl · 27/03/2016 10:33

Definitely get checked lil and no matter whether you look like a sane person or not. Just not worth taking the risk.

Thanks 5hell and Country I remember it literally being a pita last pregnancy but this seems so early that it could well end up being even more so. Will speak to the midwife this week.

5hell · 27/03/2016 10:48

lil I'd do the lie down, drink and something to eat to get it moving and to reassure yourself short term, and ring any of the numbers for advice (maybe triage? ...I'm my notes it would be maternity day care I think)

Like feathered we don't really have a pattern Confused

4th nct baby born (also early!). ..by rights I'm going to be soooooo overdue to compensate Sad

CountryGal4 · 27/03/2016 10:48

Have you got a prego pillow? That pain kicked in for me at 9 weeks but the pillow kept anything sinister away till like 28 weeks.

Lil shift ring any of the numbers and they'll transfer you through to the right place if need be. I had to do that as I had like five numbers and it really wasn't obv which one I should ring for what!

FuzzyOwl · 27/03/2016 11:07

No, but I will get one if that helps. I am sure it was more around the four or five month marker last time but I am only just eight weeks at the moment. My knees are fine at the moment but I get physio paid for through work so will take advantage of that. In my mind I only really view nausea as a pregnancy symptom and keep worrying that I am symptomless but, of course, this is one along with other minor little niggles.

lildottie · 27/03/2016 11:57

Still not happy so I've called. Mw said she feels reassured all is OK from what I've said but to go in and go on monitor for 20 mins to put my mind at rest.

CountryGal4 · 27/03/2016 12:44

For the time being sleep with a firm pillow between your knees

CountryGal4 · 27/03/2016 12:45

Sure everything's fine lil. I'd go in anyway. If nothing else you'll feel better

SockQueen · 27/03/2016 12:50

Yes, it was me lil. I knew I was going to have to have a GTT anyway as my BMI is 31 and my dad is diabetic, just a bit pissed off it's on my birthday though I might see if I can rearrange. The consultant appointment is a bit of a mystery - might be BMI related but I'm pretty sure our local cut off for that is 35 so I can't be sure. Seeing mw on Tuesday so I'll ask her then.

Hope the monitor goes ok and lilbean is just having a chilled out day!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/03/2016 13:47

sock the gtt is really OK if your appointment is first thing. Just nip in and bring a book. It'll be over before you know it. I had a wee snooze on the bench during mine. You could pop some tea in a thermos and a bit of a nibble like a scone to have straightaway when it is finished. I had my GTT quite late and was then furious I hadn't gotten it sooner as the GD did affect mini and I spent weeks totally freaking out and of course she had the shoulder dystocia and got stuck on the way out Shock.

If anyone is interested you can learn more about GD and why it is good to be screened you can read about it on the Gestational Diabetes UK website

lildottie · 27/03/2016 14:00

Out of triage and all OK. 15 mins on monitor became 50 because the mw wasn't reading something on the computer right and thought it wasn't agreeing with her that all was OK due to a brief loss of contact. Typically it moved a fair bit as soon as the monitor went in! Dm is convinced it's a boybee based on hr.

sky the thing I find most bizarre about my GTT being booked is that no one has told me not to eat before it!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/03/2016 15:28

Double check but it is usually fasting (water only) for 12 hours before. Which isn't so bad.

KateBeckett · 27/03/2016 15:47

lil glad all was ok! Def sensible to get checked out if you are at all worried.

sky not quite! We've narrowed it down, and will probably end up with an armadillo flip (dp is dead set on a travel system, and this one folds the smallest- good for our tiny house!!) but we are going to see a friend of his who is an expert in car seat safety, and does occasional shifts at mamas and papas near us, so going to ask her if there is a better option. It's such a lot of money I'm hesitating on committing in case we make a bad choice!

One week today we will be in France! I'm SO bleddy excited! Think I'm going to get some travel insurance just in case I panic when we're over there though.. Bit worried about being away from our hospital and not being able to call triage if anything is worryingme.

sock that's shoddy timing! Hope you can change it or it's an early appointment.

Hi cats welcome, gx for a lovely healthy 8 week blob Grin

FuzzyOwl · 27/03/2016 16:29

Glad you were checked out and everything is ok lil.

I have this strange intermittent pain that I had with DD so I think it is fairly normal but wondered if anyone knew what it was. The best way to describe it as if something inside is being pulled away from the skin - as if it was stuck on and is coming away. I, for once, am not worried because I do recall having it quite a bit before but it doesn't feel right, if that makes sense.

I think that I need to stop thinking of nausea as being the only symptom because I do have other minor things but just worry because I don't feel at all sick. But this is quite normal really, isn't it?

5hell · 27/03/2016 16:37

Yay for good monitoring lil Smile

fuzzy think I read somewhere that only around 60% of preggos get ms, so whilst it gets a lot of publicity etc we don't all get it (even if you had it in another pregnancy)

Just been swimming with dh, so bit tired now despite only doing 20 lengths to his 50+ now going to re-erect the hammock Easter Grin

FuzzyOwl · 27/03/2016 16:45

Thanks for the reassurance 5 and even last pregnancy I had no actual sickness and just some days of feeling nauseous/motion sick. Hope re-erecting the hammock goes well.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/03/2016 17:17

sniggers at re-erecting

Don't mind me... I am just a zombie milkmaid desperate for a nap but the tiny dictator says "Non! I MUST FEED"
